  1. Well I wish Adrienne well because she's clearly done with the show. I highly doubt Bravo will want to deal with her for another season. Speaking of housewives, where is Yolanda? I noticed she didn't appear this week and I don't think she was in the preview for next week.
  2. I love our little glimpses of Lisa's son Max. I think he is so cute. He seems very laid back and British. I want to hear more of him speak so I can determine what kind of accent he has. He reminds me of one of those Hollyoaks kids. Still kinda bummed out that RHOBH is going the way it is. We all know this will probably be a huge, huge storyline and it isn't watchable without full disclosure. Brandi said in her blog that it's going to be very expensive, so I'm guessing Adrienne went ahead with the lawsuit. Kim is a total stealth bitch and she knew what she was doing when she told Paul and Adrienne at the party. This was a take down for Kyle AND Brandi and it worked. Kim has shown herself to hold grudges so this doesn't surprise me.
  3. I'm kinda done with Beverly Hills. Because of Adrienne's money we won't officially know what Brandi did and I think it's unfair and makes for bad storytelling. We're going to watch an entire season of Adrienne suing Brandi and attacking her and calling her a liar, but we'll never know what Brandi said? What is the point in watching? We can't make a decision for ourselves and Adrienne can still call Brandi a drug addict, bad mother, etc. because she has more money. I'm not down with that. Adrienne needs to be fired after this season is over. Putting a lawsuit into the middle of this season will kill it.
  4. Greg has a live-in girlfriend. If anything is for show it's this reconciliation with Nene. It's not surprising to hear about Kenya and Walter, but I don't dislike her because of it. She's still beautiful, has a fabulous head of hair and is the only one serving it up this season.
  5. I agree Jack that Kenya is the one who is bringing it this season. These other girls need to get it together. Also, if you look at the fight clip for next week, looks like PORSHA starts it not Kenya. Nene was complimenting Kenya based on how cool she is compared to what others have said and Porsha jumped into the conversation trying to justify her dislike for Kenya. Both Porsha and Cynthia better be careful because Kenya isn't really entertaining them and they're coming off as haters. Cynthia already is, but Porsha will in a few weeks.
  6. Shaunie is a fool. She should be happy the LA version has some stability because the main Basketball Wives is a PR disaster. It's going to take a lot to make that show work. I wonder if anybody will care when it finally does return.
  7. Marlo was at that party. I wonder if she'll feature in the episode that shows it. I'm sure after the vacation episode we'll get another mini-trailer for the rest of the season because they'll have mostly aired everything featured in the supertrailer by then.
  8. Here's the link: http://www.deadline.com/2012/11/bravo-greenlights-2-atlanta-reality-series/ Mona's show is called Taking Atlanta and looks like it's basically a younger version of RHOA. It sounds like their attempt to recreate the success of Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta. If both pilots are picked up (there's also a medical show set in ATL) then that makes four Atlanta based shows on the network. Not a bad idea considering how successful RHOA is, this can help them expand their black audience.
  9. I LOVED the Atlanta version, but I never watched the NYC version. I agree that they'll have to seriously bring it for the new season. I also wonder how Mona Scott-Young's new show will be on Bravo. I found it interesting to see they had her producing a show for them. I think it was probably based on the success they had with LHHATL.
  10. I agree Jack! And Nene isn't stupid, she won't be leaving Housewives. There is no telling of The New Normal will get canceled and we have no proof she can get acting jobs outside of Ryan Murphy liking her, so her ass will be here.
  11. I know I may be the only one, but I'd prefer Emma Samms as Fallon. She was good once the writers got it right in season 9. I loved what David Paulsen did for her.
  12. Kim's show had good ratings for every episode and huge spikes for things like the wedding and wigless reveal. That's a success no matter how much people try and spin it as a failure or fluke. Kim and Nene have always been the clear stars of RHOA so it shouldn't surprise anyone that one of them has a successful spin-off. Let's see how Kandi's spin-off does and then talk.
  13. I too enjoy seeing the former OC housewives pop up. I wish we could get Jeana and Lauri back full-time. When Lauri was on WWHL, a caller asked Andy what it would take to get Lauri back and he said he's tried everything. She said that she almost returned for season six full time, but the deal fell through. She said she's worried with how over the top the drama has become and doesn't know if she'd fit in. Considering she's going on trips with the girls, I wonder if she's testing the waters and might end up a full HW or a strong recurring presence. I hope so. Lauri was golden TV.
  14. A perfect example of a difficult housewife is Jill Zarin. That is the type of housewife that production would hate and that Bravo wouldn't want to deal with. I don't believe for a second they cared about fan reaction because Jill was the star of RHONY and brought ratings. She was fired because production and Bravo got tired of her antics. Kim isn't bothering Bravo and she's still giving production juicy scenes, hence her strong screentime in these early episodes. Hell, had she not decided to quit, not going on this trip would've provided her even more story as the season went on. You would have Kash's birth and I'm sure they would've done an attempt to reconcile her with Kandi or get her to interact with Nene.
  15. It doesn't make any sense that Kim was fired or that they were forced to give her a second season for her SUCCESSFUL show. Look at Bravo's recent big November premiere week. Besides the two housewives shows, everything flopped hard--even Top Chef which is normally successful. Kim's first season did VERY well and is the highest rated amongst similar shows on Bravo. It averages 1.6 million viewers, that's better than what Bethenny was getting at the end. They would've been stupid not to renew the show. Even Flipping Out gets season after season and it can barely get 1 million viewers. I agree with everyone that Kim is a disaster, but it can't be denied that people love to watch her. I think for RHOA that Nene and Kim have always been the main draws. They are the mainstream breakout stars. I don't think it's a good thing to lose either of them. If Nene were to leave at the end of this season I truly believe the show would flatline. Losing Sheree has hurt this show and losing Kim is another major blow. I still say if Marlo was around the show would be able to handle these exits better. She was larger than life, like Kim, Sheree and Nene and could draw people in. Porsha and Kenya are just too basic to do that, although I think Kenya will be a successful part of the next few years of this show.
  16. You know, I still find BH to be in the Honeymoon phase. It reminds me so much of the early years of OC or NYC before things got too crazy. I long for those seasons where it didn't depend on huge, dramatic fights. You got to see their family lives and their relationships develop. Nothing can top the first three seasons of NYC for growth and consistency. I wish somebody would try to emulate that, instead of all the craziness. I also think ATL was rock solid until this season.
  17. I don't know if I've seen more than one or two episodes with Rita, but she looks gorgeous in that picture. Reminds me a bit of Marissa Ramirez from GH and Y&R.
  18. Thank god! I saw that on Tumblr and almost had a heart attack lol.
  19. She worked so hard to stay in Beverly Hills, you'd think she'd work harder to look good.
  20. Miami had another one of the Best of the Best Housewives episodes this week. I *loved* seeing all the different parents interact. It was a change of pace and something you don't get to see often. This is something that will forever be unique to Miami and they executed it very well. Elsa seemed so out of place with competition for screentime. She didn't seem to want anything to do with those old ladies lol. Lenny's mom HATED Lisa and that was entertaining. She should've been more respectful in her comments though. I hope that Lenny's mom gives her more hell. Adriana was great as well. I loved the party she threw for Frederick's parents. One thing that annoyed me was seeing Thomas at the party. Luckily he didn't do anything crass, but I hate the thought that he could've ruined such a nice event. Frederick's parents are too old for that nonsense. I'm looking forward to reports from the reunion which is currently filming.
  21. The latest episode of RHOBH beat RHOA by 100,000 viewers. I thought that RHOA was typically higher than the others (like NJ) so it was shocking to see BH beat it. I know RHOA premiered high, but right now it's not bringing the heat. I expect the ratings to go up with Kim's exit and then they need to hope the Aguilla episodes are soon.
  22. Yes. Beverly Hills is more traditional like New York or the first 5 seasons of OC where you can expect drama, but mostly the wives truly do show their lives and are friends and you get to see these stories develop over the years. Miami, ATL and NJ is more about staging the next big fight although we do get some family moments on there.
  23. I think BH is wonderful. The scenes don't feel like filler and it's a true soap that ebbs and flows. It reminds me of the older seasons when you didn't have to be fighting and screaming every second to be considered interesting.
  24. I agree. Her craziness was the best part. The show is as dull as dishwater this season. We have a bunch of filler scenes and the scenes with Kim are the only ones with gravitas. Like Teresa, she's a big talking point. Her stupidity, Sweetie, the reaction she gets from the others, etc. is golden tv. Andy Cohen was on Wendy Williams and she said the new season was boring too. He said that the trip to Aguilla brings the ladies together "in an interesting way" and that the season kicks off from there. We'll have to wait and see if that's true. I do notice mostly everything featured in the supertrailer will be aired by the end of the year. Considering how long these seasons are, hopefully they have a jam packed second half of the season.
  25. It's official, Don't Be Tardy is renewed: http://www.deadline.com/2012/11/bravo-greenlights-2-atlanta-reality-series/
