  1. We made it to 200, guys! ------------------------------------- Through a visit with Lily, Carly discovers that Carrie is now living with Noah in Lucinda's guesthouse. The two ladies discuss the fact that Carrie's past remains a mystery to pretty much everyone in Oakdale. Whatever the case, James must have been holding something pretty big over her head for her to work for him, they conclude. Lily changes the subject to Jack and Carly, and Carly reveals that she thinks Jack might want to make another go at it, but she's not sure if either of them, not to mention the kids, are ready for such a big step. Gwen answers the door and finds Will on the other side. She bluntly asks if he's had anything to drink and Will counters that he hasn't had a drop since his run in with Jack. It was Jack that made him think about what he was doing to his family, and he apologizes. Will plays with Hallie while Gwen hears about Will getting fired from the bookstore. Iris overhears and thinks that it would be nice to have Will around to spend more time with Hallie. She explains that she needs some work done around the house and kindly offers him the job. Gwen resentfully eyeballs her mother as Will graciously accepts the generous offer. Barbara returns home from her businnes trip out of town and sees Carrie's room is empty. Baffled, she phones her. Confused, Carrie replies that Paul had told her that she was fired and had to move out. Barbara scoffs that she did no such thing and tells her she's welcome to return as soon as she can; they need to meet with some top names in the business tomorrow to discuss the new line. Hanging up, Barbara sets off to confront Paul, who denies he told Carrie to move out. She must be making that up, he suggests, to drive a rift between mother and son. Barbara yells that Paul is just like his father: deceitful, cunning, and ruthless. After she's left, Paul gets a call from Rosanna, requesting he come with her to meet the private investigator. A few minutes later, Paul walks into the office of the private investigator and finds Rosanna pacing the floor. She shamefully admits that she's losing hope for Cabot's safe return day by day. The P.I. comes out of his office and thanks them for coming; he thinks he has some big news. He found a couple in Arizona that says they've seen a man around town with a child matching the picture of Cabot that Rosanna provided. Rosanna cries with excitement as Paul pulls the P.I. aside. Threatening, Paul offers to serve him his head on a platter if this lead doesn't check out and he's left to console his friend after yet another false lead. Paul asks to see the photo of Cabot that he has in his file. The P.I. hands him the photo, showing an infant Cabot shortly after birth. There's a hand holding him in the corner of the photo, which Paul assumes is Rosanna's hand. The camera zooms in on the hand in the photo and zooms out to reveal a real life hand toting the same image of an infant Cabot. A teardrop falls and the photo gets tucked back inside a manila enevelope. The camera pans out to reveal that it was Carrie holding the photo. Wiping her tears away, she hides the envelope in her purse and gets into bed.
  2. Margo is still feeling guilty for lying to Tom when he appears downstairs headed to work. When Lyla comes by, Margo berates her mother for keeping Brad in the dark about everything. Lyla can tell something is bothering her oldest daughter, but Margo argues everything is just fine. She knows that if Lyla ever finds out that she lied to Tom about Casey, her mother and her husband will both hang her out to dry. Lily catches Lucinda over at Worldwide and confonts her mother about all the whispering between her and Dusty last night. Lucinda denies it was anything important. That subject aside for now, Lucinda informs Lily that Carrie has moved into the guesthouse with Noah. Back at the house, Lily comes home and informs Luke that Noah and Carrie have moved into together. She's floored by Luke's cold reaction and finally realizes that her son isn't all the way over Noah just yet. Gwen comes downstairs as Iris asks how Hallie is doing. Gwen reports that she's doing alot better now, but she still cries alot. Iris hints that maybe Hallie just misses her dad. Gwen's shocked and asks her mother if she thinks she should invite Will over, especially after all he's done to Iris; not to mention how drunk he's been. Iris shrugs that maybe seeing Hallie will put things into perspective for him. "Or give him false hope about us getting back together," Gwen irritably huffs. Katie comes home and is shocked at the nice meal that Brad has prepared. She eyes the table, all set with candlelight and roses. Katie groans that she's tired, hoping to lie her way out of basking in the warm candlelight glow of her latest non-truth. Brad insists that Katie's eating for two now. Later, on an errand, Katie runs into Alison and her eyes light up when she learns that her old friend now works at the hospital. Knocking incessantly, Rosanna wakes Paul in the wee hours of the morning after a horrific nightmare about finding Cabot cold and on the brink of death. She shudders that she can't go back to Fairwinds; it holds too many memories of Cabot. After calming her down, Paul insists they keep looking until they find Cabot, alive and safe. Once Paul's out the door for a meeting, Rosanna schedules a meeting with her private investigator, hoping he has some leads on Cabot.
  3. Margo makes a visit to Lyla and scolds her mother for lying just to keep Katie from leaving town. Lyla groans that she knows it wasn't right, but after losing Craig and almost losing Casey a few weeks ago, she doesn't think she can handle another loss. As tiresome as Katie is, she chuckles, she needs to keep Katie close to keep a watchful eye on her. Margo protests that now with all the lies surrounding both of them, Katie's going to need a life preserver to keep her from drowning in them. Later, when Margo returns home, Tom asks about how Casey's probation meeting went last week. Margo makes up a story and once Tom makes his way up to bed, she grimaces at the fact that telling the truth is alot easier said than done. She hates the irony of the situation and soon follows Tom to bed, hoping sleep will clear her mind of the fact that she, Lyla, and Katie are all liars. Luke goes into Java and sees Jade getting off work. Exhausted from her shift, she sighs that he couldn't have come at a better time; she was just about to call him. After the credit card stunt at Yo's, Colin has been bugging her left and right. She knows he's up to something. Walking through Old Town, they come across Alison. Jade nudges Luke, signaling that this is the perfect time to approach Alison about helping them. Alison is reluctant, but eventually agrees to help them, despite her mild distaste for Jade. After meeting with Luke and Jade, Alison approaches Emily at the Enquirer office. They both are relieved that their love lives are stable again, and hope that Susan will have the same luck once Michael decides to come back to town. Lucinda walks into the guest house and meets with Noah and Carrie. She refuses the idea of them using her guest house as a love shack, but Carrie argues that it will only be for a little while; and she'll pay rent. Lucinda agrees and decides to make a quick trip to check on Lily and Holden. Across town, Dusty and Lily are talking about his recent engagement. Lily's glad that Dusty has finally moved on from Jennifer, but muses that she never would have thought he would find love with the woman who kept Johnny a secret from Jennife for so long. Dusty painfully smirks and Lily quickly apologizes. As Dusty bids goodbye, Lucinda waltzes up and asks Dusty what the hell he thinks he's doing. Dusty tells Lucinda not to worry; he didn't tell Lily anything. Out of sight, Lily eavesdrops from the doorway. Carly thanks Jack for agreeing to take the kids fishing today, huffing that she has piles of work to do. Jack grins that her stylish designs can wait and invites her out with them. Carly eventually agrees, and the two set out with the kids for the pond. They both giggle at the sight of Sage catching her first fish and her subsequent pity for taking the poor creature out of its home environment after nearly killing it. Jack catches Carly staring at the water and asks her what's on her mind. Carly shrugs nothing, but Jack finally gets her to talk. Her eyes water as she recalls Parker jumping into this very same pond, hellbent on finding him all those years ago. Jack remembers and thinks back to how happy they were before it all went downhill. They were talking about having more kids, Jack smiles. Both look at J.J. and agree that they will always think of him as "theirs". At the door, Carly sends the kids inside to wash up. They plead for Jack to stay, but he protests that he has errands to run. Carly turns to close the door, but Jack holds the door and plants a simple kiss on her cheek. Trembling at his touch, Carly hurriedly thanks him again and closes the door.
  4. Casey thanks Aaron for standing up for him at Yo's. Aaron shrugs that it was no big deal. He used to deal with scumbags like that when he first came to town and he hates to see them push around anyone else. Later, Alison thanks Aaron herself with a steamy roll in the sack. Meanwhile, across town, Susan's delighted to get a call from Michael, who insists that he'd very much like to pick up where they left off when he returns to town. Carrie thanks Noah for a wonderful time and goes inside to find Paul waiting on her. He explains that Barbara has gone out of town and left him in charge of making sure that Carrie has everything out by noon. Carrie's baffled and asks to talk to Barbara herself, but Paul suggests that Carrie just gather her things and go. Later, Carrie knocks on Noah's door and asks if she can live with him for a bit until she finds her own place. Noah agrees, but suggests they okay it with Lucinda in the morning since it is her guest house after all. Lucinda's startled when Dusty knocks on her door. She hisses that it's a bit late for him to be coming by, but Dusty elbows his way in. He demands to know why she's so deadset on keeping her history with Clark such a secret. Lucinda informs "Dustin" that it's none of his damn business. Dusty fires back that he has every right to spill all the details to a very skeptical audience of Snyder men, but Lucinda spits back that he wouldn't dare. She would roast him over a fire and serve him with barbecue sauce, she amusingly retorts. Dusty agrees to let the subject rest for now, but foreshadows that he will get the answer to her past with Clark...sooner, rather than later. Margo is stunned to learn of Katie's pregnancy and later visits her sister while Brad is taping at WOAK. Katie tries not to give Margo a "yes" or "no" answer to her interrogation style questioning. Katie finally breaks and admits that she's not pregnant. She only said she was to keep Brad from taking a job out of town once she learned Lyla's cancer had come back. But now that she knows Lyla was faking her cancer returning, she has to come up with something to tell Brad. Margo scolds Katie and advises her that telling the truth would be the best thing.
  5. Alison's shocked when Aaron points out that he knows his jealousy nearly ended their relationship and he wants to make it right by hanging out with Alison and Casey more. Maybe more time together will help him see the good friend that Alison sees in Casey, he proposes. Alison tells him of a mixer at Yo's tonight and asks him if he wants to go with her and Casey. Later, Casey almost backs out when he learns Aaron's tagging along, but eventually gives in. At Yo's, a douchebag college student keeps calling Casey "jailbird" and Aaron stands up for him, leaving both Casey and Alison surprised. Kevin, Luke, Jade, and Colin all decide to go to the mixer at Yo's as well. Colin gets a bit too drunk and starts making moves on every girl in the bar. Jade scoffs at what a pig he is and she and Luke again start formulating a plan. They decide that if Colin is so interested in the wealth of the Walsh's, maybe Jade should start acting like she has some of it, too. Later, Colin's eyes grow wide when Jade slaps her credit card down at the bar and offers to buy a round of drinks for everyone. Meanwhile, Carrie and Noah appear at the door. The two act civil towards Luke. Later, Luke confides in Kevin that he knows he and Noah are over and he's moved on with Kevin, but it still hurts to see Noah with the girl who split them up. Rosanna finds Jack working on Emma's refrigerator at the farm. Jack reveals that Clark and Emma went house hunting so if he wants to meet Emma's new boyfriend, she'll have to come back another time. Rosanna denies she came for Clark and says she came to speak with Jack. She asks Jack if he can get in touch with the FBI and see if there are any leads on Cabot. Jack agrees, sincerely expressing his hope that Rosanna finds her son. He grimaces when Rosanna brings up Carly. She thinks that all Carly needs is a little nudge to fall back in his arms. Jack thanks Rosanna for her concern, but chuckles that he and Carly are past reconciliation. Later, Jack comes across an old photo of him and Carly and thinks that maybe Rosanna's right; it's worth a shot. Katie's stunned to learn that her mother was lying all this time about her cancer returning. Lyla argues that she only did it because she was afraid to lose Katie, especially so soon after losing Craig. Katie rails that her mother had no room to lie like she did. However, Lyla soon turns the tables and laughs that Katie did the same thing by lying to Brad that she's pregnant. She must not have wanted to leave Lyla's side, either. Both women agree they should share their feeling with one another from now on and contemplate how they can get themselves out of this jam without tipping off Brad. Meanwhile, Brad excitedly shares with Margo that he and Katie are having a baby.
  6. Katie's not going anywhere for now, Drew. Sorry.
  7. Holden, Jack, and Lily meet with Dusty, who lies and tells them that Clark's past came up clean. Lily begs Jack and Holden to let this go. Later, Holden runs into Clark and is surprised to learn that he's moving to Oakdale to be closer to Emma. Once Lucinda learns of the development from Holden, though, she doesn't like the idea very much. Across town, Clark arrives at the Snyder farm and gets acquainted with Luke. Clark notices something familiar about Luke and chuckles that he looks just like a male version of his childhood girlfriend. Paul gives Carrie a cold glance as he passes her in the hallway of Barbara's petnhouse. Noah asks Carrie why Paul takes all that she does from Paul and she admits that she's used to jerks. Ever since she was a small child, all she's had in her life are jerks. The one man that did love her disappeared and she doesn't know where he is. Meanwhile, Paul once again proposes that Barbara cut her losses and let the poor girl go. When Lisa arrives to collect a check for her housing at the Lakeview, Barbara vents to her old friend about Paul's frustration with Carrie and shrugs that she thinks Paul doesn't like her because she had a close connection to James. Once Lisa hears that Carrie was once connected to James, she fears her friend is being too trusting with Carrie. Rosanna arrives at Old Town to do some shopping with Carly. Carly admits that she thought this might get Rosanna's mind off of things. Rosanna recalls that Cabot is out there somewhere and she won't stop searching until she brings him home to her. Carly reveals that Jack said some very nice things about her to Will the other day. In fact, she muses, she should have just re-ignited things with Jack the second they got freed from that storage shed, but she didn't out of fear for giving the kids false hope of a reunion that might very well end in heartbreak again. Luke meets up with Jade at Donovan's. Jade explains that they couldn't meet at Java because Colin is working today. As Alison eavesdrops, Jade and Luke formulate a plan to expose Colin as the wolf in sheep's clothing that he is. Luke notices Alison listening and suggests that they use her as a decoy to get to Colin. After leaving work, Alison runs into Casey. The two decide that maybe distancing themselves, but staying friends, might help Aaron's jealousy problem. Later, Alison approaches Aaron and explains that she and Casey have decided to spend more time apart to potentially reduce Aaron's jealousy. She's shocked when Aaron argues against it and suggests they all three start spending more time together. Lyla's upset when Michael calls the house looking for Katie. He wants to explain his reasons for leaving town; he just needed some time to himself. Lyla hisses for him not to bother returning to town; Katie and the whole town of Oakdale is better off without him. Brad and Katie make an appearance and Brad suggests that she tell her mother the good news. Lyla's shocked when Katie announces she and Brad are expecting, and fakes enthusiasm for the couple. Later, with Brad nowhere in sight, Lyla reveals that she knows just what Katie's doing...and she won't allow it. When Katie puts up a fight, Lyla finally comes clean and tells Katie that her cancer isn't back; she only said that for her own selfish reason: to keep Katie from leaving her.
  8. After Jack escorts Will home, Carly calls by and warns Gwen that her husband has been looking for her. Gwen doesn't know what to do with Will anymore and fears for her safety and for Hallie's. Carly maternally scolds her sister for thinking such a thing; Will would never even think about harming Gwen or the baby. When Jack returns, Carly thanks him for all his effort in making her family at peace again and rewards him with a kiss on the cheek. Later, Jack confides in Holden that he keeps getting mixed signals from Carly. Holden advises his cousin to go after her. The subject of Clark comes up and Holden informs Jack that Lily has asked Dusty to look into it. Jack isn't pleased with the news and wishes Dusty wasn't interfering in such a private family matter. Dusty knocks on the door at Lucinda's and the two make small chat about Worldwide's tremendous rebound since Craig nearly sank it. Dusty is glad the bastard is dead and gone and has hope that Lucy will return Johnny once she learns of her father's death. Dusty realizes that Lucinda hasn't spoken with Lucy in quite some time and apologizes for being so insensitive. Lucinda changes the subject and asks what brings Dusty by. Dusty reveals that he knows that she knows Clark; and he knows why she wants to keep it under wraps. Lucinda calls his bluff and Dusty reveals that Clark was her childhood sweetheart from her Mary Ellen days in Peoria. Lucinda is shocked and in an emotional rage, she orders Dusty out of her study, but not before striking fear into his heart by forbidding him from telling anyone. After dinner is over, Bob heads out to the hospital on an emergency page. Kim finds Nancy helping Chris pack his things. She moans that she wishes he didn't have to leave so soon, but her son playfully reminds her that he has a plane to catch. Kim kisses her son goodbye before thanking him for what he's done. The concern he has shown for his parents has helped them tremendously. Chris admits that he's still very worried about them and doesn't want them to seperate over such frivolous things. Kim promises to keep her tongue in check around Susan. As the two get ready to go to the airport, Nancy offers to walk Chris out to the car. With Kim in the car waiting, Nancy touches her grandson's cheek and reminds him just how proud she is of him; and Chris Sr. would be, too. She knows it because she can feel his smile surrounding them right now. Chris and Nancy both choek back tears as Nancy tells Chris that he may have made a mistake in what he did, but he's a better, wiser man now because of it. Chris thanks Nancy and kisses her goodbye before ducking into the car with Kim. Nancy waves as she watches them drive away. At the hospital, Bob's busy with patients from a bus incident when Chris comes through and says goodbye. Bob remarks how he has forgiven Chris, despite his initial feelings of anger, hurt, and betrayal. Chris disappointedly confesses that he knows he hurt Bob, but if he could change it, he would. Bob tells him that now is no time for regrets; it's happened and now, it's in the past. The father and son share an extremely emotion-filled goodbye as Kim looks on. Susan happens upon them, spots Kim, and groans that she'll come back. Chris stops her and tells her that his mother has something to say to her. "Oh great," she sighs. Kim chokes on her pride and holds out her hand, explaining that she's let a 20 year grudge nearly destroy her marriage and she's ready to send the past where it belongs..in the past. Susan calls her on it, recalling that they called truce months ago before Kim started interfering in hers and Michael's relationship. Kim gives Chris an infuriated look, but he reminds her with a glance why she's doing this by looking at himself and then Bob. Kim takes her hand and jolts it forward again, asking that this time, they calls a real truce. Never again will the past be mentioned, she swears. She nearly suffocates when spitting out that she acknowledges that Susan is one of Bob's best friends and colleagues and she's not going to stand in the way of that. The past is in the past, she repeats. Finally, a reluctant Susan shakes her hand before dismissing herself from the akward situation. Chris grabs Bob and Kim and drapes his arms over their shoulders, with him in the middle and Bob and Kim on each side. As they walk down the hall, Chris teases, "Now that wasn's so hard was it?" Kim replies, "Oh, the things I do for you, Christopher!" The three laugh as they walk out of Memorial and head towards the airport. Alison rolls over, pushing the hair out of her face and pulling the cover up over her bare breasts. She giggles like a schoolgirl at the sight of Aaron sprawled out butt naked on the bed. She quickly dresses and softly sighs to Aaron that she's leaving. He does nothing except scratch his chest and groan before finally rolling over. Alison leaves and immediately, reports for work at Donovan's. She soon comes face to face with her mother. Susan informs her that Chris has left town and made his mother call another truce before doing so. Alison's distraught that Chris left town without telling her goodbye, recalling that she wanted to talk to him again. Susan's still baffled by what just happened between her and Kim. Alison admits that maybe, somewhere deep down, Kim cares enough for the survival of her marriage to truly mean it this time. Susan changes the subject back to Chris and asks what he and Alison chatted about. Alison recalls Chris having some wise words when it came to excusing Aaron's wild behavior and jealousy of Casey. "He said that for Aaron to go that out of the way, for him to really be that jealous," she explains, "than it must answer my question I've had for as long as Aaron and I have been together: Am I really good enough for him?" Susan agrees that if Aaron didn't love Alison, he would have never acted that way. Alison smiles at the twisted irony of the situation. Later, Aaron confides in Holden that he thinks he and Alison are on the way to recovery. Holden muses that it might be so, but in order for that to happen, he's going to have to rid himself of his jealousy with Casey.
  9. Kim receives an urgent page from Chris to come to the house. Upon arrival, she discovers that she's been set up. The dinner table is set, Chris and Nancy have cooked Kim's favorite, and Bob is sitting at the table. Although reluctant, Kim finally sits down to the table to eat. Chris and Nancy take their cue and exit. Bob comments how nice the meal is and Kim's doubtful that Bob didn't know. Bob argues that he got the same urgent page from Chris and Kim seems satisifed with his defense. The two begin to eat while Nancy and Chris eavesdrop from the hallway. Kim admits that she misses Bob. In turn, Bob recalls that Kim's the one that's distanced herself. Through tears, she admits that she knows that they have alot of things to work out, but she's willing to give this all another try. Bob grins that he'd like that very much. Nancy and Chris high-five to their success and retreat to the living room. Aaron gets a bit excited when he sees Alison walk through the door of the apartment, but soon reminds himself that he's in the process of moving out of her apartment. From the hall, she calls out, wondering if he's done yet. She'd like to take a shower. He tells her that he likes just a few minutes. He sits on the bed and re-plays Casey walking in and finding the box of mail from Gabe. It kills him how deceitful he's become and inwardly cracks that it's something he could picture Alison doing, but never himself. He quickly strolls to the bathroom to grab his toothbrush, calling out for Alison through the noise of the shower that he's leaving. He thinks he hears Alison call his name and inches closer to the shower to get a better listen. He folds back the curtain, making Alison scream. Knowing that it's now or never, Aaron spontaneously jumps into the shower, fully clothed, with Alison. As the steam rises, passions gets the better of the two and before long, Aaron's pulling his clingy, wet shirt off and passionately kissing Alison. Driving along, Dusty sees Noah broke down on the side of the road. He pulls over and helps his old friend change his tire while the two play catch up. Noah's stunned to hear that Dusty's marrying Emily and admits that he could never marry someone who took him hostage and almost killed him. Flashing back to that dark cabin from just a year ago, Dusty flinches at the memory and bids adieu to Noah. Meeting Emily for coffee at Java, he keeps re-playing that horrific memory in his head. Emily notices he's being distant and calls him on his non-sociable attitude. Dusty pawns it off to being exhausted and retreats back home. When Lily appears, wondering if Dusty can do some P.I. work for her on Clark, Dusty admits to her that he thinks he's having second thoughts about marrying Emily. Lily urges her old friend to follow his heart, not his head. If Emily can forget and forgive Dusty for all his past mistakes, then surely he can forget and forgive Emily for what she's done in the past. Noah thanks Dusty for his help and continues onward to Barbara's penthouse. Scurrying around with designs, Barbara growls that Carrie isn't home. Noah decides to wait and makes small talk with Barbara while he waits. He praises Carrie for all her hard work and gushes that she's been more than ecstatic to work with her idol Barbara Ryan. Barbara fakes a touched glance and retreats to her office for a quick conference call, ordering Noah to make himself at home while he waits for Carrie. As he strolls along the lush penthouse, he notices several photos of Barbara with Jennifer and recalls how Carrie revealed to him that she's Jennifer's half-sister. When Carrie arrives, Noah once again urges her to make herself known to Barbara for who she really is. Carrie defends that Barbara will find out in time and politely asks for him not to bring it up anymore. End of conversation, she scolds. Jack drives up to Carly's, dropping off J.J., when he notices Will outside hassling Sage. Sage hollers for Will to go home as Will stumbles and almost falls on the poor girl. Jack quickly snatches a very intoxicated Will and drags him into a cold shoulder. After he's dried a little, Will half-soberly moans that he was just trying to find Gwen. Jack reprimands him, stating that Hal's probably looking down on his son and frowning. He reminds the youth that he's in this position because of what he did to Iris. Coming home from an exhaustive day at work, Carly makes up her way upstairs and overhears Jack telling Will that it's not his job to "fix" Gwen's life. Jack tried to do that for Carly, and they ended up breaking up because of it. Hal once told Jack he needed to "let Carly be Carly", and Jack is passing on that advice to Will. Will needs to let Gwen make her own decisions. His job is to be there for her---through the good or the bad. Carly, quite impressed, shows a slight smile as she listens.
  10. Thursday Susan approaches Bob at work to discuss an elderly patient about to forego a risky surgery. Chris interrupts the two and asks to speak with Bob. Jumping to conclusions, Bob blasts his son for being like his mother and thinking there's something more to him and Susan than just friendship. Chris denies he was thinking anything like that. A pause in the conversation amplifies the conversation between two nurses in the hall, commenting that they thought Dr. Chris Hughes was in jail for trying to kill his father. Bob scolds the nurses and sends them on their way. Chris echoes that they're right; he does deserve to still be in jail. Bob escorts Chris into his office, where he openly apologizes to his father for letting power get to his head and doing what he did. Chris knows that his arrest was the main reason that his parent's marriage started to crack. Bob agrees that in those first few months, he wasn't himself. He was so full of anger and resentment that he pushed away Kim. For some reason, he felt he could confide in Susan as a colleague, and that's when everything went downhill. Chris announces that he's leaving town in the next day or so and would love to have one meal with his parents, just for old time's sake. Bob thinks it's a good idea, but huffs that Kim might not like that idea very much. Chris promises to talk to his mother and leaves. Emma paces the floor before finally gathering the energy to confront her son. She admits that she never expected such behavior from him; she was shocked, actually. Holden defends that he got worried after her unteenth trip out of town and feared that she was bailing out on her family. Emma scoffs and says that they're all grown ups; she doesn't know why she always has to be there to pick up their mess. After they all turned 18, she thought she'd only see them on rare occasions. Instead, they've been waltzing in and out of her home for decades. Holden never knew she felt that way. Emma declares that the final nail in the coffin was when she watched her own daughter lie about being pregnant just to keep the town scumbag, Paul Ryan, in her grasp. After that, she needed to get away and Clark was the only one that she felt actually appreciated her. Faith comes in and bluntly asks if Emma has a boyfriend. Emma forces a slight smile, seemingly agitated, but Holden addresses Faith that it's none of their business. After Faith leaves, Emma notes the irony that he can tell his own daughter that it's none of her business, but yet he's the one that interfered in his mother's business and invited Clark to town under false pretenses. Holden takes the scolding in stride and promises that he's learned his lesson. Finally, he concludes, that all he wants is for Emma to be happy. And if seeing Clark makes her happy, then she has his support. Tears streaming, she thanks her son for finally acknowledging his mistake and hugs him. Holden comments that Harvey would have wanted her to move on and by now, he's probably breathing a sigh of relief. They both share a hearty laugh and hug again. Pulling the hair back out of her face, Lily looks up to see her mother enter Java. They both look across the room and see Jade dilligently working. Lily's glad that her niece is getting back on her feet. Lucinda smiles and agrees that she's glad Jade isn't stirring up as mcuh trouble as she did before. Perhaps, she suggests, Jade has really turned around. Lily asks what her mother wanted when she called and Lucinda reveals that she wants to know everything about Emma and her new boyfriend. Lily's confused and asks when her mother became so interested in town gossip. Lucinda shrugs that she and Emma have never seen eye to eye, but she at least wants to see the woman happy. Lily admits that she doesn't know much about Clark Allan. She only knows that he's supposedly very wealthy and makes Emma very happy. Lucinda stares and asks if that's all that Lily knows. Again confused by her mother's curiousity and asks her what she knows that she's not telling. Lucinda maintains that she knows just as much, if not less, than what Lily knows. Jack saunters in and sits down with Lily and Lucinda, glad to hear that they're talking about Clark. As it turns out, Jack has just done a background check on Clark and his past is clean as a whistle. Still convinced that he's up to no good, Jack's determined to continue his search into Clark's past. Fidgeting in her seat, Lucinda hisses for Jack to leave the poor man alone. Later, after Lucinda has left, Lily tells Jack that she thinks Lucinda might know Clark. Susan pauses as she drives up her driveway and sees Aaron sitting outisde on the front porch swing. Aaron's glad to see her and tells her that she needs to talk to Alison for him. Susan grumbles that she's done with doing his dirty work. Aaron insists that he's only trying to make Alison see how sorry he is. Susan demands that if Aaron wants Alison to see that he's sorry, he should just leave her alone. She'll come back to him when she's ready. Meanwhile, Alison finishes up her shift at the hospital and stumbles upon Chris leaving his father's office. Alison says she's sorry for bringing him into the middle of hers and Aaron's drama. Chris chuckles that it's perfectly alright, as long as Aaron doesn't hold a grudge against him for playing along. Alison grunts that Aaron has no room to be holding grudges. Walking to the parking garage, the two briefly discuss how Casey is holding up before changing the subject to Bob and Kim. Alison recalls that Kim has had some harsh words for Susan in the past. Bob is Susan's friend, Alison quips. If Kim would only realize that there's nothing between Bob and Susan anymore, the problem would be solved. Chris grimaces that the problem is deeper than that. His parents' marriage is on the verge of non-existence because of him. Alison comforts Chris and denies that Chris is to blame. Chris knows different, though, and vows to make his parents reunite, one way or another, before he leaves town.
  11. Wednesday Margo exits the police station in just enough time to run into Casey. He suggests they go get a bite to eat and Margo agrees. At Al's, Casey tells his mom that she really didn't have to cover for him like she did. Margo realizes that what she did was wrong, especially since she's the chief of detectives, but wants Casey to stay out of jail. She knows he only did what he did because of his rage towards Aaron, but asks her son to find her and talk to her if something happens again. The two then switch topics to Tom. Casey wonders what his father will say, but Margo concludes that she'll deal with his father. Later, Casey runs into Alison in OldTown and does his best to avoid her. Alison is hurt that Casey won't even look her in the face and vocally damns Aaron for what he did. Casey retorts that Alison's just as gulity for taking the pictures and letters and hiding them from him. Alison defends her actions and explains that she knew seeing that stuff would only add to the emotional distress Casey's already under. She was only looking out for him, she says. Later, Aaron tracks Alison down at Donovan's and demands to know why she keeps ignoring his calls. Furious, Alison recalls that Aaron is the reason that Casey won't even look her in the face. Getting up to go, she splashes a drink in his face and from the door, calls out for him to get his stuff from the apartment by the end of the day. On her way out, Alison runs into Chris. Seeing an opportunity to play catch up and ruffle Aaron's feathers in the process, Alison invites Chris into Donovan's for a quick drink. He agrees and they head inside. Aaron turns around to see Alison re-entering with Chris in tow. Angry, he confronts Alison and informs her that she's just making things worse for them. Ignoring him, Alison proposes to Chris that they find a quiet corner booth. Once they sit, Chris notices Aaron's intense staring and asks aloud if Alison is using him to make Aaron jealous. Eventually, she admits that it's part of her reason for asking him to sit with her, but she also wants to know what he's been up to since he's been released. Chris sighs that he's been working hard to get everything back to normal between his parents. That must be a tough task, Alison guesses. Chris asks what the deal is between her and Aaron. After getting filled in, he urges Alison to just let it go. Aaron was jealous, and even though he took it to an extreme, that should prove to Alison what she's always wondered about...if she's good enough for Aaron. Surely she must be, he explains, for Aaron to be so jealous and act the way he did, no matter how wrong it was. Emma thanks her family for coming together like this. She explains that she has alot of things to say to them all, and this is the perfect opportunity for her to say it. Lily calms her down and tells her that they all gathered here so they could show their support for Emma. Carly interjects that she thinks it's great that Emma's moved on with Clark. She makes the point that Emma has lived too long acting like Harvey is going to walk in the door, and there's a time you just have to let the past go. Jack winces at the stinging, underlying meaning of Carly's last line. Emma replies that she's thankful that they're all worried about her so much, but the main reason she didn't bring Clark around to begin with was because she was afraid something like this would happen. For years, she has sat back and given advice to family member after family member and watched them all as they intefered in each other's lives. And in the end, all it did was cause even more heartbreak. Emma sheds a tear as she explains that for once, she was happy just being someone else...getting away from it all and being with Clark and no one but Clark. But now, they've done what they all do best...interfered in someone else's life. She continues that now thanks to their prying ways, they might have possibly scared Clark away. Later, Luke shares a warm moment with Emma in which he tells her that he wants her to be happy. That's all that matters to him. Meanwhile, Jack pulls Carly to the side and voices his opinion that he thinks Clark might be up to no good. Despite Carly's objections, he heads off, determined to have a background check done. Carly goes over with Lily to apologize to Emma for possibly coming between her and Clark. After everyone trickles out, the only ones left in the room are Holden and Emma. Emma gives Holden a mother's scolding glare as Holden sits down and prepares himself for a good, old fashioned talkin' to.
  12. Tuesday The next morning, Brad still can't believe that Katie is pregnant. Katie seems shaken about lying to Brad in order to hault their plans to leave Oakdale and doesn't say much. When Lyla emerges from the bedroom, Brad urges Katie to break the news to her. Katie decides against it. She claims it would only devastate her mother even more if she knew that she was inheriting a grandchild, especially since she recently found out her cancer has returned. Brad's in shock at the news, recalling that the doctors had so much hope for Lyla to stay in remission. Brad jets off for Emma's and invites Katie along, but she declines. With Brad out of the house, Katie folds her arms against her head and wonders what she was thinking by lying to Brad. Lucinda comes by the guesthouse to see if Luke has any news on Noah. Luke comments that he hasn't heard anything and Lucinda leaves to seek answers from Barbara. Kevin comes out of the shower and is very short with Luke when he asks what his plans are for the day. Frustrated by Kevin's attitude, Luke calls him on it and Kevin finally reveals that he didn't take too kindly to Luke rushing to Noah's side at the hospital. Luke defends his actions and admits that he and Noah might not be together anymore, but he still cares what happens to him. Later, Jade drops by and tells Luke that she's been very hesitant towards Colin and now that she knows he's her adoptive brother, she doesn't know if she can keep living with him. He's starting to think they're more than friends, she explains. Luke laughs and tells Jade that they need to come up with a plan that will trip Colin up. Jade interjects that she thinks she knows what to do just as Luke stops her. In a hurry, he reveals that he forgot all about the family meeting at the farm and rushes out. After spending the night on the couch, Noah finds Carrie in the bathroom getting dressed. Assuming she's going to work, Noah gasps that she can't be serious; Barbara can't be demanding her to go to work not even 12 hours after she was almost killed. Carrie replies that she's not going to work, but she is going with Barbara to the reading of James's will. In the other room, Lucinda appears and asks Barbara if she's heard anything from Noah. Noah emerges just as Barbara slightly grumbles for Lucinda to see for herself. Happy to see him, Lucinda hugs Noah and tells him that she's put someone else on the account that he was working so hard on. Knowing that Barbara and Carrie will be gone, Noah insists he get back to work to keep his mind off of things. Lucinda reluctantly agrees, and later shows up to Lily's and learns that Emma has a new boyfriend. When Lily mentions the man's name, Clark Allan, Lucinda gasps. At the will reading, Paul fidgets in his chair as Barbara saunters in with Carrie in tow. Immediately, Paul brings Barbara to the side and asks if Carrie should be resting. Barbara accuses Paul of not wanting her here. She recalls that James and Carrie had some sort of connection, business or friendly, and she wanted to honor that connection by bringing her. Paul, fearful that James might spill the beans on Carrie's identity in his will somehow, is adamant that Carrie go home and get some rest, but Carrie quietly rebutts that she's fine. The lawyer starts to read the will and explains that James has left 50% of his almost-bankrupt estate to Barbara and the other 50% to Paul. Meanwhile, the lawyer adds, James has left Carrie a manila envelope with information inside. After she is gone back home, Barbara and Paul wonder aloud what could possibly be in the envelope that he left to Carrie. Across town, Carrie rips through the envelope, pulls out a birth certificate along with some documents, and faints. Ruffling through the morning paper, Holden puts it down when he sees Jack, Carly, and Brad come in the door, almost simultaneously. Holden explains that Aaron couldn't come, but he's glad they showed up. Stomach grumbling, Brad heads for the fridge as Jack questions Holden about the meeting. Holden promises that he'll tell everything once Luke has arrived. Waiting, the three sit down at the table and Brad reveals that Katie's pregnant. Jack's happy for the two and remembers how badly Katie has always wanted children. Carly rolls her eyes, disgusted, and goes outside, only to run into Lily. The two friends make small talk when Luke comes up behind them. Lily notices everyone inside and motions for them to follow her inside. Once inside, Holden reveals that for almost a year now, Emma has been sneaking off to meet with a man. The man, Clark Allan, is at best, her new boyfriend, but Emma exploded when she learned of Holden and Lily's plot to get him to come to town. Though the plan worked, Emma's still livid. Holden continues that he thinks that they all need to rally behind Emma and really show their support for the fact that she's moving on in her love life. Just as they all agree to give their blessing and support to her, Emma appears and stops mid-sentence in asking where all the cars outside came from. Realizing what has happened, Emma fumes that she's glad they're all here. She has a few things she needs to say to them all, she huffs.
  13. Monday After a long night at the police station answering questions, Noah and Carrie return to Carrie's section of Barbara's penthouse. There, Carrie finally reveals to Noah that she is the daughter of Darryl Crawford and hence, Jennifer's half-sister. Noah urges her to tell Barbara, but Carrie refuses and starts to tear up. Unable to find any other way to console her, Noah gives her a gentle kiss on the lips. Carrie inwardly recalls making a deal with James, but he never had the chance to fulfill his end of the bargain. She pushes Noah away and after he leaves, she cries herself to sleep. Dreaming, she hears a baby crying but can't find where it is. She wakes up in a hot sweat and again bursts into tears before finally falling back to sleep. Margo reaches out her hand to console Barbara over losing James, but she snatches her hand away and huffs that she's glad that bastard is dead. "Maybe this time he'll actually stay dead," Paul adds. Rosanna takes her leave from the interrogation room and outside, runs into Carly. Worried, Carly asks for a quick recap. She's disheartened that James was keeping Cabot from her and even more perplexed that James would act as if he didn't even know where the toddler was. Paul comes out and informs Carly that it's just like James to play mind games and act like he doesn't have something when he really does. Noticing she's upset, Paul offers to drive Rosanna home but Carly demands Paul leave her alone. "You and your father have done enough," Carly snaps. As they make their way out, Margo and Barbara emerge from the interrogation room. Barbara can tell Paul's upset. Almost sounding like his father, Paul grumbles that he'll turn up every house in the world if he has to just so he can find Cabot. When Barbara makes a comment about checking on Carrie, Paul insists the girl is no good and urges his mother to kick her out now that James is dead and gone. Barbara replies that the poor girl simply got mixed in with the wrong crowd. James made her empty promises and took her away from her family...now it's her job, she says, to make sure Carrie is taken care of. Emma's eyes fume with anger as she asks once again what the hell Holden and Lily think that they're doing. Holden acts like he doesn't know anything, leading Lily to finally cave and admit that they knew about Clark weeks ago. When they found out, they wanted to let Emma know that they approve her decision to move on. Yelling, Emma hurls that she doesn't need their approval for a damn thing. She voices her disappointment in them for interfering in her life. What if the children found out, she asks. Holden says that the children will be fine. They might be shocked at first, but they'll be happy if their grandmother is happy. Emma replies that she still can't believe that they went behind her back like this, or even spied on her in the first place. Her business is her business, she curses, slamming the door behind her. Lily rolls her eyes and tells Holden this was a bad idea from the beginning, but Holden is convinced that Emma's just embarassed and needs to know that her family is supportive of her moving on with someone else. With that, he suggests they plan an impromptu family meeting to declare their support for Emma. Lily's adamant that they not do such a thing and recalls what Emma said about interfering. Holden's mind is made up, though, and he places phone calls to Luke, Jack, and Brad to appear for breakfast at the farm in the morning. Katie can't believe what Lyla is saying to her and asks when she found out. Lyla reveals that she's known for a while. That's partly the reason she got so upset when Casey was in the wreck. She's not sure her family can handle another loss. Katie's determined to get her mother to leave town with them, but Lyla insists that her treatment won't allow it. Brad comes home and sees Katie is upset, pacing in the living room. Once she comes face to face with her husband, she recalls all the times that he's made it clear that he doesn't want Lyla to stand in the way of their life together. She knows that if she tells Brad that Lyla's cancer has returned, he'll take it the wrong way and think that Lyla's trying to come between them and their future together. Unable to think of anything else, Katie finally crumbles and lies that she's pregnant.
  14. After a long night, Paul, Rosanna, and Barbara take all their information to Margo who reveals that the time frame hasn't passed yet to file a missing persons report. Meanwhile, Luke informs Lucinda about Noah's disappearance and hopes that she can give some sort of financial aid to the search. When Kevin learns about it, he's not pleased, but reluctantly accepts Luke's excuse that he just wants to make sure Noah and Carrie are alright. Later, after running into a dead end with Margo at the station, Paul hides from Rosanna and his mother. Alone, he sets off for the house he spotted online. Soon, Paul finds Carrie and Noah pinned to chairs inside the old house. Carrie widely eyeballs a growing fire in the kitchen and cries that James started it and then left. As Paul frees the two, he's startled by his father's voice coming from the doorway. Coldly, he asks Paul, "Isn't this what you wanted? To do away with her so your mother will never know who she is?" Paul lunges at his father and they soon ensue in a massive struggle. Just as it seems James might have the upper hand in the struggle, it all ends when Noah comes from behind and hits James over the head. Paul hurriedly limps to get them all out as the fire surrounds them all. The flames seems to be inescapable now. Running through the fire, the three of them make it out of the burning house and watch as it burns to the ground with James inside. Casey is relieved when Margo finally makes it home. He tells her that his parole officer is coming by and Margo decides that the best thing they can do is just tell the truth. After the parole officer arrives, he explains to Casey that he stole a car and crashed it; that's going to take some serious explaining. Fearing that her son will go to jail once again, Margo lies and covers for Casey. She reveals that Casey never stole the car; she gave him permission to take it to a friend's and on the way, he swerved for an animal and crashed. The officer warns Casey that if the story was any different, he might have gone to prison for violation of probation. After the officer leaves, Margo cries that she's sorry but she couldn't stand to think of him going to jail again. Casey thanks his mother for what she did and they agree to keep it between the two of them. Emma's surprised when Holden offers to help her cook. Before long, a knock comes at the door and Lily quietly saunters in, reminding Emma that she came to pick up Ethan. Another knock comes and this time, Emma answers. She's shocked when she sees Clark on the other side of the door and quickly hurries him outside. While Clark tells Emma that he was told she needed him, Holden smiles as he realizes his plan worked. Lily scolds him for being so deceptive and warns that Emma's going to want an explanation. Sure enough, after sending Clark away, Emma barrels in and confronts Holden and Lily, asking them what the hell they think they're doing. Flipping through the phonebook, Katie searches for someone to help her sell the house if they decide to move. Brad comes behind her and kisses her, reminding her that they only have a few days to make a definite decision. Katie's eager to start her life with Brad, but what wonders why they can't just stay in Oakdale and continue the life they've been happily living. Brad notices his wife is concerned and realizes she doesn't want to leave her mother. As Lyla secretly stands in the doorway, Brad explains that now that Lyla's cancer is in remission, she'll be fine without them. Lyla becomes distraught and begins to wonder how she'll handle yet another child leaving her, especially since Craig has passed away. Later, after Brad has left, Lyla saunters in, visibly upset. Katie asks her mother what seems to be the matter and through a crackly, tear-choked voice, Lyla reveals that her cancer has come back.
  15. Susan appears at The Enquirer and finds Emily working. Susan apologizes for the way that she snapped at her yesterday and feels as though she owes her daughter an apology. Emily admits that she was in the wrong too for being so hard on Michael and reminds her mother that she said some pretty cruel things about her mother's taste in men. Susan sighs and guesses that one day, the Stewart women will finally get it right with the men in their lives and smiles that maybe Emily has a chance to do just that with Dusty. At Carly's, a grounded Parker sits and stares at the ceiling, hoping that Carly will come home soon and at least let him play some video games. Parker startles when he hears a knock at the door and finds his brother, Will, obviously drunk on the other side. Parker tells Will that Carly isn't hope as Will barrels past him, calling for Carly and demanding she help him win back Gwen. Meanwhile, Carly arrives at Gwen and Iris's and shudders at the fact that her sister has to live with such a vile woman. Iris opens the door and immediately, smothers Carly with a smile and hug. Inside, Carly scolds Gwen for not calling her sooner. Iris appears from around the corner, brightly chiming in that she was there for her angel baby and precious granddaughter. Rolling her eyes, Carly ignores her and asks where Will is. Gwen mumbles that she called Will, and he knows Hallie's out of danger. But she hasn't seen him since he came to the hospital. Carly gets a call from Parker, reporting Will's intoxicated state. Gwen overhears and whispers that she certainly doesn't want him around Hallie if he's going to show up drunk. Carly has Parker make up a lie about Carly being at work and Gwen and Iris being out of town. After Carly leaves, Iris drops the smile and sighs that she didn't know how much longer she could be fake to such a dimwit like Carly. Gwen takes offense and reminds her mother that as long as she is staying with her mother, Carly is welcome any time. Acidly, she hints that if Iris doesn't like it, there are several hotels in town for Gwen to take herself and Hallie. At the station, Margo crumbles up paper, throwing it at the trashcan as Barbara walks in and huffs that Margo needs to be doind her job and finding Carrie and Noah instead of playing trashcan basketball. Irritated, Margo informs Barbara that they have no leads. Barbara comes home and finds Paul and Rosanna poring over online information about all of James's known hideouts. A small house on the outskirts of town catches their eye and Paul reasons that James wouldn't want to travel far for someone he's just going to do away with in the end. Barbara's disheartened by Paul's comment and later, Rosanna calls out Paul, accusing him of wanting James to kill Carrie just so Barbara will never find out who she is. Katie comes home and finds that Lyla has left her a note on the counter. The note says that Lyla has gone out for a while to think and will be back shorty. Confused, Katie hopes that Lyla is doing well and recalls how upset her mother has been, especially since Casey's accident last week. After a while, Casey comes by and learns from his aunt that his accident has prompted Lyla to enter a very secluded and depressed state. Once Lyla appears, she's overjoyed to see Casey doing so well. Casey explains that he was upset over losing Sofie to Gabe, but being in the wreck made him see how precious life is. After he leaves, Lyla's on cloud nine until Katie starts talking about leaving Oakdale with Brad. Lyla's worry starts to set in, but she brushes it off to Katie as a look of exhaustion. Back at Tom and Margo's, Casey opens the door and sees that Tom is waiting at the table for him with bad news. Casey's parole officer is coming by today and he wants to speak with Casey about the accident. Casey feels like Tom is holding something back from him, but Tom refuses to say anything more.

She can't stand to be in the same room as Bob anymore because she's constantly feeling like she's disappointing him. Chris hangs his head and sadly mumbles that this is all his fault. They've drifted apart because of him. Choking back the swelling tears behind his eyes, Chris heads to Memorial to see Bob. Bob admits that he's running late for dinner, but Chris tells him not to bother. Dinner has been cancelled. Bob knows that Kim changed her mind, recalling that he and Kim haven't been exactly getting along. Chris is dismayed to learn that Bob feels like the end of their marriage is just around the corner. Instead, he played with her friend's emotions just because he somehow felt threatened. Jade comes to work and hears from Aaron that Lily is out of town on business. Aaron asks about Jade's newest boyfriend and grumbles that he hopes he's single; after all, Jade does have a history with men who are already in relationships. Jade fumes for Aaron to leave her alone and mind his own business. After Aaron leaves, Kevin and Luke come in and ask when Jade plans on revealing to Colin that she knows who he is. Instead, Jade smirks that she's just going to let Colin believe she's not onto him for a little longer until she can figure out what he's up to. After they leave, Luke goes home and sees the breaking news of Noah and Carrie's disappearance on the television. In a cozy mansion on a hill, Emma comes in the room carrying breakfast on a tray. The same man that she was spotted with by Holden and Lily rises up in the bed. Emma addresses the man as Clark and hopes that he starts to get over his cold sometime soon. Clark hates that she has to go home so soon, and reminds her that anytime she wants him to come with her, he's ready. Immediately, Clark hops in a cab set for Oakdale. Back in the abandoned house, James saunters in and teases Noah and Carrie. Carrie becomes severely aggravated and kicks her feet at the crooked man. James chuckles as Carrie screams at James for doing this to them and asks how long he's going to keep this up. James reveals that he'll keep them here as long as he pleases until he's ready to dispose of them. Noah lunges his chair forward at James, but Jame sticks out his foot, causing the chair to give way and Noah to become pinned between the chair and the floor. His arms in a curious angle, Noah screams with discomfort as Carrie asks James to help Noah. Instead, James walks out.
  17. While Barbara goes to the penthouse, Paul and Rosanna look for James. Paul accidentally lets it slip that Carrie is Jennifer's half-sister and is appalled that he isn't telling Barbara. Paul frets that he knows his mother is and she'll smother Carrie with love until the point of insanity. He fears that she might seek Carrie to fill the hole that Jennifer left when she died. Back at the penthouse, Barbara discovers Carrie's purse and Noah's open cell phone with the last call being to 911. Immediately, she panics and upon Margo's arrival, fears that Noah and Carrie have been killed by James. Elsewhere in Oakdale, Noah and Carrie find themselves strapped to chairs inside an old house on the outskirts of town. Holden comes home and finds Aaron waiting on him in the kitchen. Aaron confides that he really messed up with Alison. After Holden prompts him to save himself, Aaron seeks out Alison and tries to justify his reasons for what he did. Out of anger, Alison hisses that Aaron's a shadow of his former self now. Aaron replies that Alison's always screwing up and time and time, he's taken her back. Why can't she do the same for him? Chris approaches Kim at work and suggests that she go with him and Bob to dinner at Al's. Kim declines, citing that she's over her head in paperwork for the station. Chris sees right through it and calls his mom out. He tells her that she can fool everyone else, but not him; she's not going because she doesn't want to be around his dad.
  18. Dusty pushes Emily to cheer up her mom, especially after Michael's farewell to her. Emily eventually agrees and what starts off as an innocent invitation to a picnic soon becomes complicated when Susan accuses Emily of babying her now that Michael is gone. Meanwhile, Alison is shopping at Fashions when she runs into Chris. He explains that he was looking for Lisa. He just got released and is only in town for a week or so. Alison later goes to Susan's and tells her mother and Emily that Chris is back in town. Aaron turns around and is shocked to find Margo behind him. Later, Margo frets to Tom that she fears she's become too protective of Casey and the two discuss helping Casey find his own place. Lyla returns home from the doctors office and finds Katie waiting for her. Katie emotionally informs Lyla that Brad has received a job offer out of state and the two have been seriously debating the move. Lyla tells Katie she should follow her heart. Later, Katie tells Brad that she forgot to ask Lyla what the doctor said and decides to ask her tomorrow. Noah knocks repeatedly on the penthouse door before finally coxing a maid to let him into the room. He rushes to Carrie's room and finds her bed empty. Panicking, he calls 911 and declares that someone has kidnapped Carrie. Out of nowhere, a black glove cups Noah's mouth and his cell phone drops to the floor. Meanwhile, Paul recalls that Carrie came to town because of James, but she's also Darryl Crawford's daughter and Jennifer's half-sister. 21. You need to hold on, Mr. Impatient!!!
  22. Alison stands in shock and confusion as Casey scorns her for being so evil and hiding the fact that Gabe had been sending him mail reporting on his and Sofie's sex life. Alison denies she did anything of the sort and points the finger at Margo, recalling that she obtained the box from his house. Casey is still furious and asks Alison why she would keep this from him. Just then, Aaron comes in the door and announces he's home. Alison stays quiet in front of Casey, but as soon as he leaves, she goes off on him, accusing him of trying to come in between her and Casey. Aaron's miffed that she's talking like she and Casey are such great friends when they've only gotten close over the past month or so. Aaron lies and says that he found the box, went to take a quick shower, left the box on the table, and that's where Casey found it while Aaron was showering. Alison doesn't buy it and grunts that she's staying with her mother until Aaron realizes what a jerk he really is. Meanwhile, Casey confronts Margo, revealing that he knows Gabe has been sending him letters and photos of himself with Sofie. Margo tries to defend her actions, but Casey yells that by not telling him, she played with his heart. While he runs upstairs to his room, Tom comes in and wants to know what's going on. Margo frets that Casey probably will not ever speak to her again after what she's done. With both Jack and Carly staring down his neck, Parker lies, trying to convince Carly those clothes got greasy last week when he helped Jack out at the farm. Jack shoots that down; they worked on Emma's tractor over a month ago. Carly tells her son not to bother lying again, they already know he tampered with his father's car, what they want to know is why. Parker refuses and gets grounded until further notice. As they make their way back into the living room, Carly tells Jack it's obvious Parker wanted him to spend time at the house. This is exactly what she didn't want happening. She didn't want to make the kids anxious over their relationship or give them false hope. Jack suggests sitting down and talking with them, but admits he's confused too. One minute, Carly seems to be enjoying herself and the next, she's telling him to get out. Jack suggests they give each other a few days to think things over. "I'll call you," he hesitates before opening the door, only to meet a blank, yet grueling stare from Carly. Rushing into Memorial, Will staggers through the halls, asking nurses where Hallie Munson is. Just then, Iris appears and hisses that he should really keep it down. They are in a hopsital, she reminds him. Gwen comes out and automatically disapproves of Will's haggard appearance. "What the hell happened to you," she asks. Will fumbles for an explanation, but is cut short by the doctor's emergence from Hallie's room. He tells them that the nurses are taking very good care of her and suggests they get some rest in the waiting lounge until they know more. Will invites Gwen to come with him to get some coffee, but Gwen reminds Will that the only reason she called him over here is because he is Hallie's father. She doesn't want him getting any ideas of a reunion. Will apologizes and asks Gwen if she'll ever forgive him for trying to come in between her and Iris. After all, he only wanted what was best for her; he didn't want Iris screwing her over again. "Nope," Gwen interrupts. "You pretty much did all the screwing up by yourself." Will watches as she walks back to Hallie's room. Somewhere in Canada, Paul hollers out for his mother to not sign anything. James grabs up the papers and tries to flee in the commotion, but Paul stops him from going out the door and tells Barbara that he didn't want her to sign a marriage certificate. He wanted her to sign away her fortune, along with hers and Paul's powers of attorney. Barbara is repulsed. With that, James smirks and demands Paul let him go or he'll never see Cabot again. Rosanna comes in and orders Paul to let him go, they can lead him to Cabot. Paul yells back at her that James is only bluffing. He doesn't know where Cabot is either. After Paul explains that James took him hostage just to cut a deal and find out Cabot's wereabouts, Rosanna starts to tear up. Furious, she runs out and decides to continue the search all on her own. Back in the bistro, Paul eventually lets James go and snatches the papers that Barbara just signed, ripping them in a rage. James angrily bellows that they all just messed with the wrong person and makes a snide comment about Paul being just like his cowardice mother before storming out.
