  1. After meeting up with Gwen for coffee at Java, Alison asks her how she's handling the split from Will. Gwen informs her that she recently sent him papers seeking separation and sole custody of Hallie once the divorce has been finalized. Alison thinks Gwen's being a bit harsh, but Gwen justifies her actions by saying that Will has been a loose cannon lately. As the two start to walk out, they meet Jade. Still harboring a grudge from the past, Gwen coldly snaps that she and Will are separated and Jade can help herself to him now. Rosanna's shopping in Old Town when Paul finds her and pulls her aside. He tells her that Meg has returned to town. Harsly, she snaps that now's the perfect time to reunite with his ex and get sucked into another one of her sick lies. Paul objects that he told Meg exactly what he thought of her playing with head and he thinks she's genuinely sorry. When Barbara arrives, Paul briefs his mother on running into Meg. He fusses that he should have never told Rosanna. Back in Old Town, Rosanna fumbles for her keys when she catches Meg approaching her. Trying to ignore her, she has no other choice but to turn around when Meg finally calls her name. Lyla and Katie set their plan in motion as Katie chimes that she kept Brad's phone off the charger all night. Brad leaves to do some taping at WOAK and when he returns, he finds Lyla comforting Katie. Silently, Katie hopes this all goes as planned. Lyla explains that Katie started spotting right after Brad left. They tried to reach him, but his cell was dead; by the time they got to the hospital, it was too late. She had miscarried. Brad's utterly devastated and although she doesn't exactly say so, Katie hints that her shoving match with Carly might have cost her their unborn child. Furious, Brad heads to confront Carly. At the same time, Carly impersonates Katie over the phone and asks the hotel in Chicago to fax over her bill. Reading the list, Carly seems satisfied and starts to head out to confront Brad with the truth that his "devoted little wife" has been lying to him about being pregnant. That is, until Brad blasts though the front door and angrily blasts Carly for "what she's done". After Gwen and Alison leave, Jade clocks in at work and learns that Colin resigned. She's happy in knowing that he's out of Oakdale for good and maybe now, she can put the past behind her. Later, after work, Jade meets up with Luke and Kevin at Yo's. They all three look up to see Will walk in with Carrie in tow. Kevin recalls Carrie's supposedly dating Noah and Luke makes a snide comment about Noah's behavior when it comes to relationship. Kevin accuses him of still hung up on Noah. Meanwhile, Will informs Carrie of his tumultuous past with Jade. Carrie suggests he call a truce, but he seems reluctant. After Luke and Kevin leave, Will approaches Jade and asks to speak with her alone.
  2. When Susan interrupts Michael and Katie's conversation, Katie realizes that her uncle has enough drama of his own to deal with. Frustrated, she confronts Lyla about the fight with Carly. She definitely thinks she's faking the pregnancy, Katie worries. Seeing one way out, Katie begs Lyla to help her fake a miscarriage. Lyla doesn't want to, realizing that continuing the lie will only make it worse, but eventually (and reluctantly) agrees, feeling responsible for lying to Katie, which made Katie panic and lie to Brad. Meanwhile, Carly snoops through files and tries to find Katie's copy of her expense report from the trip to Chicago. She narrowly escapes getting caught by Kim. After coming up with nothing, Carly devises another plan. Pulled aside by Susan, Michael informs her that she made it very clear that she wants nothing to do with him. Susan matter-of-factly ignores his statement and advises him Bob would like to see him. Entering Bob's office, Michael sits down and asks the good doctor what he called him in for. Bob recalls that Michael asked for some time off from the cancer center but now that he has returned to town, does this mean Michael is ready to get back to work. Michael nods his head yes as Bob briefs him on an important patient file that has changed since he's been gone. Outside, we see Susan lurking. Biting her lip, she wonders how she'll handle working with Michael again. Paul's shocked to find Meg on the other side of the door. He's pleased to see her in better shape than she was last time, but he also holds a painful grudge for her ruining her one shot at happiness with Rosanna. Meg sighs that she came to tell him why she did what she did. After all this time, she still doesn't know why she did what she did. Perhaps it was envy of Rosanna or maybe it was her obsessive need to hold onto Paul. Whatever it was, she realizes that she hurt him...and Rosanna. And for that, she'll never forgive herself. Later, after she's gone, Paul reflects back on the good times with Rosanna and wonders if he will ever get those happy moments back. Across town, Emily goes stir crazy in her office, working on last minute details for a story. The phone rings and Emily answers only to roll her eyes when she hears Lucinda's voice on the other end. Emily tells her she's busy working on a story. Almost in a warning tone, Lucinda tells her that she hopes it has nothing to do with herself or Clark for that matter. She's held up her end of the bargain, now she expects Emily to do the same. Later, Dusty comes knocking. At first, Emily plays resistant to his persistent apologies, but finally relents and kisses him. Dusty runs his hands across the desk and papers flutter while objects crash onto the floor. Ripping his shirt open, Emily greedily kisses his bare chest and pins him down on the desk, smothering him with her hot kiss. As he fumbles for his pants zipper, Emily warns Dusty to never doubt her again, almost choking on her hypocritical words before finally continuing to make love.
  3. Lyla eventually calms Katie down and admits that Carly never quite said she knew anything. She convinces her that Carly's just fishing and that panicking will only make Carly more suspicious. The next time Katie sees Carly at work at WOAK, she tells Carly to stay out of her business. She and Brad are happy, and Katie snarks that Carly is jealous and bitter over losing Jack. That only makes Carly angry. Carly reminds her that it wasn't too long ago, she was running around town ruining lives because she couldn't get Simon out of her system. Not only is Brad better off without her, but so are Mike, Jack and that fake kid she's not having. Katie slaps her, and they get into a shoving match Kim has to have broken up. Kim chastises them both, but lays into Carly for forgetting Katie is pregnant. Katie plays up to Kim, then Brad walks in and blasts her too and Carly walks off in a huff. Later, as Carly stews alone in her office, one of the secretaries stops by to get Carly's signature on the expense report she turned in after her business trip to Chicago. Smiling wickedly, the wheels start turning in Carly's head. "If it's proof they want..it's proof they'll get," she vows. Michael admits that he finally gathered himself and has decided to return to Oakdale. Susan scoffs that he made a long trip for nothing, implying that she's moved on. Realizing this isn't going to be as easy as he thought, Michael seeks Alison's help in convincing her mother to meet her at the Lakeview. When she arrives, she's frustrated to see Michael in place of her daughter. Just when he thinks he's convinced her that he's back to stay and that he only left for her benefit, Susan splashes her drink in his face. Days later, Michael runs into Katie who's having problems of her own. Not wanting to include him in the drama, she beats around the bush when it comes to spilling what's bothering her. All of a sudden, she recalls that he works at the hospital and asks for a favor. Dusty's anger boils over with Emily. She plays the victim the whole time, pledging that she didn't tell Lucinda anything. Dusty angrily scolds her for sticking her nose where it doesn't belong and calls off their engagement, hurling the insult that she's still the lying and psychotic tramp that held him hostage in chains last year. Hurt by his words, Emily seeks consolation from Susan who tells her to suck it up; she dug her own hole this time and Mommy's not bailing her out. Realizing that she has no way to avoid Emily's investigative eye, Lucinda acts quick to keep Emily's mouth shut. She arranges a meeting with Emily and hands her a check for $10,000 to keep what she knows tight-lipped. Emily reluctantly agrees, under one condition. Lucinda must cut all ties with Dusty and convince him that she was overreacting when she said Emily knew everything. Days later, Lucinda lies to Dusty that she was upset over a business opportunity gone wrong and took out her anger with Emily. She says that she knowingly lied to Dusty that Emily knew everything about her past with Clark. Surprisingly, Dusty buys it and as a result, tells Lucinda to stay away. By lying, she provoked his anger onto Emily and now, Emily will never forgive him. Having postponed the confrontation with Colin until Luke can find the fake diamond, Jade meets up with Lily. Pulling the fake out of her purse, Lily reveals that she found it while cleaning Luke's clothes and wants to know what part of "stop" they didn't understand. Fed up with it all, Lily rounds up Luke and Jade and they head to confront Colin. Cornered, he admits that he was in boarding school when the Taylors adopted Jade. When he graduated, Jade had already run away from the loveless home. Colin admits that his folks are greedy and once they learned of Jade's biological mother's tie to the Beloved diamond, they saw a chance at compensation for the years of hell Jade had put them through. Lily rails Colin for his deception and arranges a flight out of town for Colin. On his way to the airport, Colin bumps into Gwen. Having met before, Gwen recalls how creepy he seemed the first time. After a while, she realizes she was quick to judge and asks how long he's in town for. Colin smirks, "Indefinitely. It seems my plans have changed at the last minute." Emma's shocked, confused, and happy to see Meg walk through the door at Thanksgiving. Holden warns Meg to tread lightly; alot of people are still upset by her actions last time she was in town, including Emma. Meg reveals that she's sought help and has since repaired her relationship with Josh. They're getting re-married, she gushes. Emma introduces Meg to Clark. Like her other family members, she's hesitant to trust the man. Emma lectures that many people's trust with Meg was severed last time; she has no right to judge a man she hardly knows. Clark is good to her and they love and trust one another, Emma softly quips. Later, Clark gets confused with directions and ends up at Lucinda's doorstep. The maid informs him of his route and sends him on his way. Through the window, he gets a glimpse of Lucinda's face (she doesn't see him) and thinks he recongizes her from somewhere. After a while of waiting, Kathy finally appears at Neil's office, ready to talk. She reveals to him and Rosanna that she was paid to lead Rosanna to the market. She was also instructed to ask for compensation for her clue. Once she had the money, she was instructed to give it to a man she had never met before. The job paid phenomenally well, leading her to wonder why "whoever it was" needed the money in the first place. Rosanna badgers her for details about a baby boy and Kathy hints that she might have heard a toddler crying at one point, but she was told to say nothing. Neil thanks her for her information, but Rosanna insists Kathy must know something else that could lead her to Cabot. Neil gets through to her and tells her that Kathy told them everything she knew. The fact that she was hired and put through such scrupulous terms and conditions says alot. Later, Rosanna goes to Java and bumps into Meg. After a brief and angry showdown with Rosanna, Meg tells Emma she's leaving town again; she came to tell her mother that she and Josh are getting re-married and to patch wounds with family. Now that she's done that, she's ready to return home to Josh. Emma begs her to stay a little longer and Meg reluctantly agrees. Knowing that she has more time to patch wounds, Meg sets out to smooth things over with the one man she hurt the most. While working on designs, Paul's startled when he answers the door and finds Meg on the other side. Alison and Aaron hash an idea to throw an end of the semester party at Donovan's. Dusty isn't around, leaving Aaron in charge. Alison spies Colin talking with Gwen. She heads up to them, only for Colin to retreat hastily. Alison questions why Gwen was wasting her time with an arrogant mooch like Colin. Gwen reveals that she and Will are officially separated and she can talk with whomever she pleases. Taking it in the negative tone Gwen said it in, Alison warns her once best friend to steer clear of Colin; he's nothing but trouble. Casey and Will head out for ice cream and run into Iris. Iris smirks that Will should be getting an imporant message soon. Will tells her to go to hell and Iris leaves. Casey asks what his mother-in-law was talking about and Will admits he doesn't know and doesn't care. After dropping off Casey, Will gets a call from his mother. He meets her in the living room. She says she's there for support and hands him an envelope. Inside, Will's floored to find papers seeking legal separation and a document stating that Gwen has filed for sole custody of Hallie. Inconveniently, Will blows up just as Carrie walks in. Barbara takes advantage of the unplanned scenario and stands back and watches. She's seemingly convinced that once Carrie sees Will at his worst, she'll want to have nothing to do with him. Instead, though, Carrie's able to get through to Will and calm him down. Irritated, Barbara sends Carrie to work and calls Noah, urging him to keep Carrie busy and away from Will.
  4. At Susan's, Alison and Aaron came in after a nice dinner at Emma's with Aaron's side of the family. Emily comes in late as usual, upset that Daniel'd rather spend the holiday at school. Susan shrugs that maybe they'll get him for Christmas. Alison talks with Emily about Dusty. Emily growls that Dusty's keeping secrets from her. Alison suggests that Dusty's probably keeping her in the dark for her own sake. At the dinner table, Emily excuses herself when she gets a call from her source. Coming back in, she apologizes for leaving before dinner, but she really has to run. Later, Alison thanks Susan for everything. When Susan mentions Casey, Alison replies that she hasn't spoken with him in a while, but from what she hears, he's getting his own place. After they''ve left, Susan sits down by the fireplace with a cup of hot cocoa and stares at the flickering embers. Suddenly, the doorbell rings and Susan's delighted to see Michael on the other side. Although initially full of glee, she remembers that he left town and left her in the dust. Suddenly full of contempt for the man she was starting to fall for, Susan asks Michael what he's doing back in town. Across town, Nancy helps Bob set the table. Kim comes in from taping a late holiday commercial at work and is relieved to see that dinner hasn't quite been served. Setting down her coat, she helps bring out the food. While Carrie does some design work at B.R.O., Barbara is in another room. Barbara finally sighs, setting down her pen and calling Carrie's name. Barbara asks what she has planned for the holiday and Carrie admits that she hadn't thought about it. Barbara smiles that the Lakeview has organized a nice Thanksgiving banquet in the dining hall and she'd love for Carrie..and Noah..to attend tonight. At the dinner, Noah and Carrie silently stare their food, while Barbara eyeballs them both. When Will appears, Carrie's eyes light up and the two immediately start conversing, much to Barbara and Noah's unified chagrin. Later, Barbara pulls Noah aside and confronts him on his feelings for Carrie. Noah confesses they have had a bumpy relationship, but he still has feeling for Carrie. Barbara hints that as long as he can keep Carrie away from Will, the more time he'll have. Noah's confused. Barbara continues that she just doesn't think her son is ready for another relationship just yet (he's still in love with Gwen) and she thinks Carrie might be pushing a bit too hard. Plus, with the two apart, it gives more time for Noah to show his true commitment to Carrie. Reluctantly, Noah agrees to the grand scheme. Over at Worldwide, Lucinda's finishing up some paperwork and closing up for the night when Emily busts through the doors. Lucinda berates her, asking if she's lost her mind. No, Emily retorts, but she just wanted to let her know that her next story for the Intruder will have a surprising exposé on the Walsh matiarch. Lucinda chuckles and asks what this so-called exposé will entail. To the point, Emily smiles that she plans on exposing Lucinda's annulled marriage to Clark Allan. Lucinda, inwardly, damns Dusty Donovan, but scoffs at Emily's "hilariously entertaining" accusation. Emily pulls out a court document, noting that the marriage between one Mary Ellen Walters and Clark Gabriel Allan has been annulled. Furthermore, Emily points out how the document was sealed and cleared from both Lucinda and Clark's records. Not able to take anymore, Lucinda forcefully strikes Emily's face and sternly bellows for her to leave. Emily spins around and starts to make her exit, but not before issuing a spiteful rant to Lucinda. Later, Lucinda calls Dusty and furiously scorns him for blabbing all to Emily. Margo helps Tom with his tie as he curses the day the accessory was invented. Margo giggles and reminds him that they're late for dinner with Lyla. Tom hates that they missed dinner with his folks, but stands content with his proposal that they spend a day together soon. Upon Margo's nod, Tom senses and opportunity to address their previous conversation from the other night, but Margo tells him to disregard everything. She doesn't know what she was thinking; they're much too old. Tom takes her in his arms and replies that he'd love nothing more than to have another child with her, but they can barely make their business meetings. How would they raise a child? Margo agrees and the two set out for Lyla's. When they arrive, they find the kitchen bellowing with smoke and alarms ringing. Lyla shoos the smoke through an open window as Casey stumbles from the kitchen, disrobing himself of a soot-covered apron. They all laugh at Casey's attempt to cook a nice dessert to finish off the meal. They all sit down to eat the main course, opting to skip out on the heavily burnt brownies. Casey reminds them that he has three seperate apartments that he's looking at and would love for Tom to come with him one day and help decide. Tom agrees as they all begin to clear the table. Margo catches her mother staring at a photo of Craig on a nearby coffee table. She reminds her mother how Craig hated turkey and wouldn't have had fun any way. The mother and daughter duo subside their laughs for a moment, reflecting back on their most delightful memories with Craig. Lyla laments how she'd love to have her son back, even if it was just for a moment. Startled from their reminiscing, the ladies look up and see Katie come in, wiping tears. Panting for breath, she wails that Carly knows. Carly knows she's not pregnant. At a loss, she asks Lyla what she's supposed to do now. Rosanna finally meets up with Neil at his office. He informs her that Kathy's plane has been delayed, but she seems very anxious to speak with Rosanna. Delighted to hear that she's one step closer, Rosanna calls Carly with the good news. Interrupting her moment of bliss, she spies Paul lurking in the parking lot outside and storms off to confront him. Paul apologizes, but claims he didn't want to spend the holiday under his mother's burdening gaze, Instead, he was hoping he could spend the last few moments of Thanksgiving with the only one he truly cares about. Rosanna stops him, pulling his hand away from caressing her cheek. She orders Paul to leave her alone. She knows he only wants to help find Cabot as a way to get close to her again. It's not going to happen, she sternly protests. Never. At Iris's, Gwen slowly stirs her green bean casserole. Plucking at it with a fork, Gwen sighs and finally gets up from the table. Iris remarks how she didn't even finish her cranberry sauce, but Gwen can't seem to find the appetite. Iris can sense the dreary conversation turning into a shedding of the tears for Will and reminds her daughter that Will was putting their infant daughter in danger because of his inconsolable grief. He needs to get his head right before Gwen even considers letting him back into their life. Accepting her mother's advice as fact, Gwen nods her head and heads off to bed with Hallie in tow. Bob, Nancy, Kim, and Lisa all sit down to eat Thanksgiving dinner. Bob remarks how every year, he's more and more thankful to be sitting at the table with them. Kim smiles, addressing the rough patch they had earlier. She explains how Chris's love and care for his parents' happiness helped send them back onto a road of recovery. Nancy adds that by the four of them showing Chris forgiveness, they also sent him onto a bigger, brighter, happier future. Lisa hates that all the extended family couldn't be here, but just the four of them being together at this very instant is all that matters. Raising their glasses, they toast to the future...and that their family and all their loved ones will grow stronger as the world keeps turning.
  5. At Emma's, Jack explains to his aunt that he's going to visit Delores who has some "emergency". Brad thinks it's odd she didn't mention it when he talked to her just the other day. Jack scoffs that she's probably upset he's making her a grandmother again. In the kitchen, Carly corners Katie and tries pinning her down on specifics---when she's due, how far along she is. Katie worriedly fidgets, asking Carly how she knows. Carly coyly replies she just heard it through the grapevine. Katie counters that she hasn't even had her first appointment, and doesn't have a firm due date yet. But Carly will be the first to know, Katie hesitantly smirks. Katie wonders out loud why Carly's interested in the first place; they're hardly friends. Feigning offense, Carly reminds her how they became friends in Montana after Sage's birth. Maybe this baby could repair the friendship. It could even bring Jack and Brad closer, since Brad is excited about being a father, and Jack would love being an uncle. Katie reddens, seeing how the lie is already spiraling out of her control. Outside, Lily protests with Jade over the phone. She pleads for her niece to come eat with her family. Jade insists that she has to work and plus, being around all the Snyders always makes her head spin. Almost all of them either hate her or have made their own judgment of her. Finally, Lily relents and tells Jade to come by later so they can talk more about Colin. She turns around and enters the house, only for Emma to ask where Luke and Kevin are. Before Carly can dig any further, Jack interrupts. Katie scurries off, leaving them alone. Seeing the glimmer in her eyes, Jack asks Carly what she's up to with Katie. Carly tells him it's not important. She then asks if he can put off visiting his mother. It won't seem like Thanksgiving for the kids if he's not there. Jack can't cancel his plans, but he was hoping to hear she'd miss him too. Disappointed when Carly stands there mute, he heads up the back stairs to pack. While he's distracted, Carly surprises him with a kiss on the cheek, wishes him a safe flight, and urges him to hurry back to Oakdale. On his way down, Jack thanks Emma for understanding. Jack glares down Clark before finally walking out. When the kids arrive, Carly informs them that Jack had to go out of town for a little while. Sage whines that they're never going to be a family again. Carly kisses her on the cheek and assures her that they'll always have each other, no matter what. After settling the kids, Carly calls Rosanna and invites her sister over for some turkey and dressing. Rosanna's much too depressed to be thinking about food; she needs to find her son, she huffs. Carly insists she at least get a to-go plate. After a while, Rosanna shows up and is surprised that Jack isn't there. Carly mutters that he went to see Delores, but should be back soon. Carly apologizes for telling Rosanna she should give up on the search for Cabot. She just knows how James likes playing mind games with her and even from the grave, she can see him giving Rosanna false hope about Cabot being out there somewhere just for a jolly laugh. Rosanna admits that she had her doubts, too, but her maternal instincts have kicked into overdrive lately. She knows she's getting close. Later, Rosanna meets with Neil and informs him that she'd like to try and get into contact with the Kathy woman from Arizona. She knows the woman knows more than she's letting on; she knows she is. Across town, Aaron and Alison scurry off to Emma's, neglecting to see Luke and Kevin pulling up to Java behind them as they leave. Inside, Jade thanks them for coming and tells them that Colin should be here any moment. Luke, looking for the fake diamond he picked up from Faith's room, can't find it anywhere and soon panics. The plan will never work now, he grimaces. It's soon time to set the table for dinner at the Snyders. All gather around and say grace before finally digging into the feast set before them. The screen door creaks and Sage springs up, hoping it's her dad. Instead, a smooth voice smiles, "Am I too late for the cutting of the Hubbard squash?" Everyone's floored to look and see Meg standing before them.
  6. Thanks for your comment, bimster. Welcome to the boards.
  7. At Donovan's, everyone seems to be clearing out when Aaron comes in. Alison remarks how he's late for his shift, but Aaron wants to know why she let Jade suck her into her scheme. Alison sighs that she did it more for Luke than anyone. Aaron is baffled as to why his brother would want anything to do with someone like Jade. Across town, Luke appeals to Jade and suggests they fake that she has the diamond. Once the Taylors hear of it, no doubt, they'll come sprinting to town, he scoffs. Jade is reluctant, but eventually agrees when Luke proposes that once her family comes to town, she can face them with the truth. Lily intercepts the end of the conversation and forbids any trickery. Instead, she suggests she and Jade handle this head on...together. Jade thanks her aunt for her support, but later, we see Luke picking up a toy diamond from Faith's bedroom and tuck it inside his jeans pocket. Will takes a walk through Old Town square only to meet up with Carrie and Barbara. Iris soon approaches and thanks Will for his efforts around the house, but tells him that Gwen has forced her to fire him. Before she runs off, she hands Will a piece of paper. Will's left speechless by the paper and Barbara yanks it out of his hands. Barbara rolls her eyes as she hisses that neither Gwen nor Iris have the right to file a restraining order against Will. She assures her son that they will fight this, only for Will to mumble that he has another idea before storming off. At Iris's door, Will stands violently beating until Gwen opens the door. He cries that she can't be thinking of doing this; Iris has set him up. Gwen laughs at the accusation and painfully stabs that even if her mother did set him up, it's his just desserts for doing the same to Iris. Across town, Barbara lets Carrie in on the details behind Will and Gwen's history, vaguely hinting that Carrie need not even interfere in Will's chaotic life. Ripping out a page from her cookbook, Emma starts whipping up a recipe. Jack comes in that it's a bit too early to be doing Thanksgiving cooking. Emma shrugs that the annual Snyder feast is only a few days away. She asks if Carly will be attending and Jack almost seems bothered by the question. She will be bringing the kids, he says, but Jack won't be here. Emma starts to ask why when Carly comes in. After the two discuss the children, Jack makes a remark about having to prepare an extra place at the table for next year. Emma squeals with delight as Carly arches her eyebrow, contemplating what secret the two are sharing. Finally, Jack informs her that Brad and Katie are having a baby. Carly shivers at the idea of two brainless idiots raising a baby together, and suddenly her memory flashes. Katie eating shellfish and drinking alcohol. Katie's pleading for her to keep her mouth shut. It all makes sense now, Carly coos, unaware she's talking out loud. Jack asks her what she's talking about and Carly devilishly grins, muttering a simple "Oh, nothing" before saying goodbye and walking out. Across town, Tom opens the door and fumbles for the light switch. He hesitates when he hears soft, slow music coming from upstairs. A row of rose petals lines the stair. Tom chuckles, setting down his briefcase and coat. As he halfway leaps each stair, he struggles to get his tie loose and jumps one foot as he takes off both shoes. When he gets upstairs, he sees the bedroom lit with candles and Margo in sexy black lingerie. After making love, Tom pants how extraordinary that was. He never thought the day would come when they would finally have the house to themselves and be able to make love like that. Having Casey move in with Lyla was the best idea for each side, he comments. He further reveals that Casey has started looking at apartments. Margo grins, gushing how great it is to have Casey out of the house and in bed with the one person who makes her whole. Still, she ponders, it is a bit too quiet. Tom hesitantly chuckles, catching his wife's vague hint. He smiles that as much as he loves her, he thinks they're a bit too old to be having kids. At their age and with their hectic schedules, he reasons, it's out of the question. Biting her lip impatiently, Margo gets up out of bed and soon re-appears in her uniform. She's working the night shift tonight, she reminds him, before grabbing up her keys and heading out the door. Exhausted and baffled by his wife's reaction, Tom slams his head against his pillow and lets out a deep sigh.
  8. Kevin approaches Luke and reveals what he heard Colin saying to the Taylors about a diamond. Once they question Jade about it, they realize she has no clue. Suddenly, Luke remembers something and tracks down Lily, who's in Old Town shopping with the girls. A cold shiver runs down her spine when she realizes that the diamond in question is the very same diamond that she, Rose, and Simon fought over all those years ago. When Luke returns to tell Jade, she's stunned and realizes that the Taylors only want the diamond, not her. Just then, Aaron appears and angrily berates Jade for getting Alison to do her dirty work for her. Luke takes all the blame, forcing Aaron to keep his cool. Frustrated, he dares Jade to come near him or Alison again before stomping away. As he eats his lunch at Al's, Dusty comes face to face with a less than happy Emily. She wants answers, she demands, and she's not leaving until he gives them to her. They're engaged, she reminds him, so there's no reason to be keeping secrets. Dusty fumes that Emily needs to keep her nose out of his business. Emily hisses that she is his business, she's his future wife. After licking her wounds, Emily attempts to get answers from Clark over at Java, but he seems confused by the name Lucinda Walsh. He's never heard of her before, he concludes. Emily isn't done yet, though, and returns to her office at the paper. She picks up her cell phone and calls a long-time source, demanding they dig up every piece of dirt that can be found on Lucinda. Carly ruffles through an old drawer, looking for some old sketches she had tucked away. She pauses for a moment when she catches a glimmer in the corner of the drawer. Pulling out her old compass, she reflects back on the first time she and Jack had the "true north" discussion. Jack knocks at the door, interrupting her nostalgic trance and he reminds her that she promised she'd pick up the kids from Emma's; he has some important errands to run. Arriving at the farm, Carly disrupts Emma's infamous chuckle as Brad proposes they name the baby Emma if it's a girl. Carly asks what they're talking about, but Sage's jubilant shriek at seeing her mother startles her. Carly giggles and rounds up the kids before heading out. Later, Brad mentions Carly coming by the farm and Katie nervously asks Brad if he told Carly about the pregnancy. Brad says no, but seems curious as to why his wife is so fidgety. Sensing her tension, Brad pulls out the ring he bought her while she was away. While he gushes at how it's a symbol of his love, devotion, and trust, Katie forces a hesitant smile. Rosanna waits on pins and needles as her P.I. friend Neil ties up some loose ends on the phone. It appears that Kathy has agreed to come to Oakdale, but only under the terms that only Neil speak with her. Paul grumbles for him to speak with this Kathy woman, snatching the phone away and angrily yelling into the other end. Startled, Kathy hangs up. Rosanna is livid that Paul could have jeopardized her one shot at finding information about Cabot. Paul apologizes, but a teary eyed Rosanna hisses that she wants Paul to stay away from her; she can do this on her own. She doesn't need his help anymore. Angry, he ventures to B.R.O. hoping work will get his mind off another failed attempt to persuade Rosanna to let him help and eventually heal the wound he inflicted upon her all those months ago. He should have never believed Meg over her, he says. Once he arrives, he tries to get work done, but he ends up trashing his office out of pure anger. Barbara comes in and sees what he's done and reprimands her son.
  9. After Colin has retreated, Jade thanks her cousin for looking out for her. Outside, Colin agrily tells the Taylors that he's done; he can't find the diamond anywhere and he gives up. Lurking in the shadows, Kevin hears everything. Meanwhile, Luke tells Lily everything and she's horrified to learn Colin was hoping to get close to Jade for money. Later, Aaron comes by and Lily accidentally spills that Holden saw Alison with another man the other night. Lucinda waltzes into Donovan's and Dusty reports that their mission was a failure. Lucinda sighs that she'll have to think of another plan. When Dusty calls her out on why she wants to keep her past with Clark hidden, Lucinda fires back it's none of his concern. Little do they know that Emily has heard the whole thing. Across town, Lily approaches Colin and verbally berates him for preying on Jade and her family. At home, Will answers a knock on the door and finds Alison on the other side. She confronts her old friend with what all she's heard from Gwen and Will realizes that Iris has been setting him up. Later, Alison runs into Aaron who huffs that Lily's told him everything; he knows she's been seeing someone behind his back. Alison replies that she was trying to expose Jade's adoptive step-brother for trying to get to Lil's money. Once he hears Jade was behind everything, he heads off to confront her. Rosanna sees Paul fussing at a secretary at the B.R.O. offices and calls him out on it. Paul huffs that he's just been in a foul mood ever since Carrie slithered her way into his family's life; Barbara seems to think she'll replace Jennifer. Rosanna suggests Paul calm down, but he changes the subject to Cabot. Interrupting, Rosanna's hired private investigator Neil calls and reveals that he's got some info on the Kathy woman that Rosanna encountered in Arizona.
  10. After failing at convincing Alison to give one last go with Colin, Luke and Jade decide to confront him on their own. Colin finally admits his ties to the Taylors, but assures Jade that it's nothing personal. Jade is shocked when Luke punches Colin cold and knocks him to the ground. Alison meets up with Aaron at Donovan's for work and is surprised to find Gwen working there. The two old friends catch up and Gwen confides that she sees Will as a threat to Hallie. Alison doesn't think it sounds much like the Will she once knew, but Gwen sighs that the Will they once knew has changed. Elsewhere, Will stumbles on Carrie working with Barbara on some designs. Barbara has a chance to finally introduce Carrie as Jennifer's half-sister. With Carrie out of the room, Barbara reveals how much she thinks Jennifer and Carrie are alike. When Will responds that Carrie will never take Jennifer's place, Barbara lashes out and storms off. Later, Will shows up to help Iris with a leaky faucet. While he's not looking, she sets an empty whiskey bottle in his car. Once Gwen returns from work, Iris has her daughter go out to Will's car for something. After finding the whiskey bottle, Gwen scurries inside and demands Will leave. Confused, he follows his estranged wife's orders and leaves Gwen crying on Iris's shoulder.
  11. She's not urging Rosanna to stop searching. That would be cruel and insensitive. Instead, Carly's looking at this logically. She knows James likes to play games with Rosanna's head, especially re: Cabot; and she doesn't want James to slowly drive her sister off the deep end by sending her on a wild goose chase!!!!!!!!!!! .........
  12. Upon returning from Chicago, Carly decides to spend what's left of the day with the kids at the farm. There, Carly runs into Jack, who asks her if she gave any thought to their situation. Carly bets around the bush and smiles that she'll let him know. Later, Rosanna confronts Carly aboout her weak hopes for Cabot's safe return. Carly replies that this whole Caot search started with James; what's to say he's not just playing mind games again? Unable to accept Carly's opinion, Rosanna changes the subject to Jack. Carly hesitantly responds that she hasn't given it any thought, but gushes that seeing her former husband still tends to make her weak at the knees. After speaking with Carly, Rosanna runs into Paul at Old Town. He's speechless when Rosanna clues him in about the results of her latest search effort. Paul offers to lend his finances for more search efforts, but Rosanna declines the offer. Later, Rosanna learns from Paul that Carrie is Jennifer's half-sister. "What a small world," Rosanna amusingly responds. She's upset by Paul's instanct hatred for the young woman and begs him to try and give Carrie a shot. Later, Paul stumbles in on Barbara showing Carrie a family album filled with pictures of Jennifer. Unsettled, he goes off on his mother and yells that Carrie isn't Jennifer. Lucinda's baffled at what Emily is talking about. She tries to skirt around the issue, but her growing worry that Dusty blabbed to Emily only grows when Dusty calls. Lucinda lies and says that Emily isn't there. After hanging up, Lucinda writes a blank check and asks Emily how much she wants. Emily responds that she doesn't want Lucinda's filthy money; she wants to know why Lucinda is using her fiancee to hook up Lisa and Clark. Just in the nick of time, Dusty arrives and counters that he knew Lucinda was lying about Emily not being there. After they've returned home, Dusty spins a fib about Lucinda wanting to set up Lisa and Clark to help get an important account for Worldwide. Emily lets on that she buys it. Realizing that they have no other options on the table, Luke and Jade resolve to confront Colin about his connection with The Taylors tomorrow night. Luke convinces a very reluctant Alison to help them with Colin one last time while Jade eagerly awaits the answers that she's wanted from her step-brother for a long time. She recalls the loveless home she had with the Taylors and hopes to know soon why they've always treated her like an annoying pest rather than a daughter.
  13. While boarding the plane the next day, Katie walks up to Carly and again apologizes for the incident the other night. Carly reluctant mumbles her acceptance and sits down. Moments later, Katie recalls that she was having a martini and shrimp at the time that Carly bumped into her. Two tell-tale signs that she's not pregnant. Realizing that she needs to make sure Brad never finds out, Katie asks Carly to keep the run-in incident to herself. Intrigued, Carly nods, and later, wonders why Katie asked her to keep it a secret. She must be hiding something, Carly concludes, and she's deadset on figuring out what it is. Emily waltzes into her office and finds a dozen roses on her desk. "Sorry about the other night. I'll make it up to you. My place, 5:00. -Dusty," the card reads. Emily smiles. Later, Dusty has prepared an eventful agenda for their romantic night full of lasagna and make-up sex. When Emily arrives, things soon turn sour when Emily revisits the previous night's events and asks Dusty to spill why he seemed to be pusing Lisa and Clark together. Dusty tries to keep the fighting to a minimum, and before long, apologies are said and clothes are shed. While Dusty takes a shower, Emily snoops in his phone and is intrigued by the amount of calls from Lucinda. After showering, Dusty returns to find Emily nowhere in sight. Driving through town, Jade spots Luke and Kevin's cars at Lily's and decides to stop by for a visit. Lily jokes that Jade must have left something to come to the house twice in a row. Sparing her from his mother's intimidating questions, Lily excuses them to go ride horses. Holden returns and thinks it's strange that Jade has come by. Lily takes up for Jade, but starts doubting herself when Holden reveals that he saw Alison and Jade's "boyfriend" acting more than cozy last week. Meanwhile, Luke informs Jade that Alison has bowed out of their plan to expose Colin. Jade starts to fret, until Luke reveals that they'll just have to come up with a Plan B. Across town, at Worldwide, Lucinda's finishing up some last minute plans for a flight to D.C. on business when Noah comes in. Noah tells Lucinda that he's almost done working on the merger that she asked about. Lucinda applauds Noah for doing as well as he is with her company and promises to talk about a promotion once time allows. Noah thanks Lucinda and directs the questions towards Luke. Lucinda confides that she's not sure if Noah and Luke will ever regain the trust they once had, especially now that he's with Carrie. Noah sighs that he wants to be with Carrie, but part of him misses Luke, too. Matter-of-fact-ly, Lucinda tells Noah that he's going to need to decide between the two soon. On his way out, Noah brushes against Emily. Lucinda hisses that it's late and she was just about to leave for the day. Emily sternly counters that it can wait; first, she's going to tell all that she knows about why Dusty would want to push Clark and Lisa together.
  14. Carrie runs into Paul while shopping. He trades a few insults with her before Carrie finally asks why he hates her so much. Paul snickers that he knows people like her think they can just rush in and expect to get the royal treatment, especially from someone as wealthy as Barbara Ryan..."but I can see right through you," he grunts. Later, Carrie and Noah go for dinner at Al's. Barbara spots the two and eventually gives them her blessing. However, while Noah is away, Barbara warns Carrie. If Noah isn't sure if he'd rather be with a young man or a young woman, than what's to say that what Carrie and Noah have right now might fail in the long run? When Noah returns to the table, Carrie fakes a stomach ache and asks Noah to take her home. When he offers to stay with her, she politely declines. Emily stands in silence, waiting for Dusty to tell her what's really going on. "Why did you leave Lisa to get something out of your room when I just saw you acting like you didn't have a worry in the world back in your room," she asks. Dusty lies and says that he did forget his phone, but he thinks it might be in his car. When Dusty's phone starts ringing, he's caught in a lie until Lisa comes and breaks up the akward confrontation between the two. "Dear, I'd love to chat with you some other time, but you must forget...I'm very busy. I can't diddle daddle while I wait on you for forever. I have a hotel to run," she explains before marching off. When Dusty eyes the bar, he sees Clark isn't there anymore. His mission failed, he's sent back to reality when Emily's purse nudges against his head and he turns to find his enraged fiancee marching off. Later, Emily wonders to herself what Dusty was really doing and aims to find out. Jade comes by Lily's and finds her helping Natalie and Faith with homework. Both girls are happy to see their favorite cousin and rush upstairs to show her what they made for her. Lily protests that she thought when Jade came back to town, she would see more of her niece. But instead, Luke sees her more than her own aunt. Jade apologizes and sighs that things have been crazy. Faith and Natalie return downstairs and show Jade the drawing they made her. Lily asks Jade why she and Luke have been spending so much more time together lately than usual. Jade shrugs that there's no special reason before heading out. Later, Alison approaches Luke and Kevin and tells them she wants out of their plan to expose Colin. In her Chicago hotel room, Carly flips through the television and finds a movie to watch. She falls asleep and soon starts dreaming. In the dream, she sees herself and Jack strolling along in a park. She tries to catch their attention, but to no avail. They can't see or hear her. They seem to be in love, holding hands and laughing. After they disappear for a while, she finally finds Jack sitting alone at a park bench. Carly watches as the "dream Carly" returns with ice cream cones for the both of them. She walks around the bench, only to find that the dream version of herself has now turned into Katie. Woken by the dream, Carly darts up out of bed and heads for the dining hall. There, she spies Katie munching down on shrimp pasta and drinking a martini. Trying to sneak tothe opposite corner of the dining hall without being seen, Carly accidentally runs into Katie who spills her drink all over Carly's blouse. Katie apologizes profusely, but Carly huffs a vicious "Forget it" as she storms out of the dining hall, trying to hide her beet red complexion and trying to wipe her shirt dry.
  15. In Episode 209: Edited: Original:
  16. After Aaron decides to go spend the day at the farm with a sick Ethan, Alison decides to report back to Luke and Jade what happened with Colin. Jade's in shock, but Luke's curious as to why Colin thinks of him as being the key to getting to Jade. Alison hypothesizes that maybe it's because the two cousins are so close. Later, Noah runs into Luke and the two make small talk. After Noah walks away, Luke confides in Jade that he thinks he might still have feelings for his ex. Lisa meets with Dusty at the Lakeview bar. Both are unaware that Emily is watching from afar. Dusty makes an excuse that he forgot something upstairs. Minutes after he's gone, Clark saunters into the bar. The two re-acquaint themselves and Clark explains that he's here to meet with Dusty on business. Later, Emily heads upstairs and finds Dusty. Bluntly, she asks him what he's doing. When Dusty tries to play it off, Emily decides to take her questions to Emma. Dusty stops her, and tells his fiancee that he'll tell her what's really going on. Susan appears in the hall, having just completed a check-up on a newborn. Alison stops her mother and asks if she's heard anything from Michael. Susan sadly reports that she hasn't spoken with him lately. Alison asks her mother if she thinks she's doing the right thing by getting involved in Luke and Jade's drama with Colin. Susan, more stern than ever, quips that she's doing everything right...if she wants Aaron to leave her. Dropping off the kids with Emma, Jack has a little time to conversate with his favorite aunt. He tells her how Carly went out of town on business and moans how tired he is of getting mixed signals. Emma laughs and replies that now Jack is getting a taste of his own medicine after all these years of giving Carly mixed signals. Later, Clark at Emma's but when she goes to kiss him, he pulls away. Exhausted, he yawns that he's going to back to the hotel and get some rest. After he exits, Emma defeatedly mumbles that she was thinking of asking Clark to move in with her.
  17. Dusty goes to the Lakeview in search of Lisa, but runs into Emily instead. Emily starts bombarding him with wedding questions. Putting her off for the minute, Dusty calls Lisa's attention from afar and runs to invite her to dinner with himself to discuss possible partnership in Donovan's. Lisa agrees and after eavesdropping, Emily takes it upon herself to tag along on the dinner date. As Katie packs for her business trip, she tells Lyla that she hopes being away from Brad will give her a chance to figure out how she's going to tell him she's not really pregnant. Katie recalls what Casey told her and cries that he's right; even when he heart is in the right place, she still manages to run off the people most important in her life. Lyla takes her head into her shoulder and brushes her head, reminding her that they still have each other. Rosanna returns home quite defeated and runs into Carly, who vaguely asks her to give up the search. Rosanna hisses that she won't give up until she finds her son. Later, Carly sits down on the plane and rolls her eyes when she sees Katie sit beside her, but Katie never sees her. Across town, Carrie thanks Barbara for letting her move back in and asks if she thinks Paul will ever get used to the idea of them being close. Barbara makes no secret that she doesn't need Paul's approval. Later, Barbara runs into Will and he reveals that he's working for Iris now. Barbara warns her son to tread softly; Iris might have an ulterior motive.
  18. Carly's upset with Jack that he went to Lily for advice on them. Protesting, he lectures how he doesn't know what to do anymore. Carly later speaks with Lily, who tells her that she's becoming more like the judgmental Jack that she always loathed. Carly sighs that she can't even tell what she wants anymore. Lily suggests that the straw that broke the camel's back with Jack was him marrying Katie. Carly laughs it off. Back at work, Kim tells Carly of a job conference in Chicago and she jumps at the opportunity. Still upset about Clark voicing his distaste towards Luke being gay, Luke confronts Emma. Emma assures Luke that Clark's opinion has no impression on the feeling she has for either of them. Later, Emma tells Clark that she needs him to be more open-minded. After a small fight, Clark storms out and heads to the Lakeview. It's there that he runs into Lisa. Just as Lucinda steps off the elevator, she spies Clark and Lisa talking. When Dusty approaches her, she suggests he do a little match-making with Clark and Lisa. She adds that if Clark is away from the Snyder's, he's away from Lily; and the further Lily is away from Clark, the further she is from learning the truth about Lucinda and Clark's connection. Aaron shows up for work and shows Gwen around on her first day at Donovan's. Casey shows up for work and is surprised to see Gwen working there. After he spots Gwen talking with Aaron, Casey gets the idea that Aaron hired Gwen out of some ulterior motive. Aaron assures a confrontational Casey that Dusty hired her. Alison backs Aaron's story and Casey feels foolish, soon apologizing to them both. Later, Alison praises Aaron's efforts towards making things right with Casey. At work, Katie keeps busy to avoid running into Brad on set. When Brad tries to make a big production out of Katie's pregnancy, Katie downplays it to her co-workers as his wishful thinking. Kim tells her of a conference out of town and Katie decides to go, but only if Brad stays home. Realizing he's going to come anyway, Katie lies to Brad and tells him that she's taking a trip out of town to see Cricket. Witnessing everything, Margo scolds Katie for lying again. Casey sees the whole thing and scolds his aunt for lying, recalling that lies are the exact same thing that made Simon and Mike leave her. Meanwhile, Brad speaks with a jeweler and picks out an engagement ring, intent on popping the question when Katie returns. In Kansas, Rosanna's upset to learn that a woman named Kathy never worked at the market. She's confused and puzzled that the woman just vanished. Later, we see Kathy inform someone that she did what they asked, handing them the same check that Rosanna paid her with.
  19. Barbara can't believe Carrie is Darryl's daughter. Paul accuses Carrie of playing on Barbara's grief. Looking for proof, Barbara has Bob run Carrie's DNA sample against a hair out of Jennifer's old hairbrush that Barbara had kept in a keepsake box. Sure enough, the tests came back that Jennifer and Carrie are half-siblings. Troubled by all of this, Paul seeks guidance from his ghostly father, who urges him to do whatever it takes to keep his mother safe. Later, Barbara reveals her plans to have a celebration in Carrie's honor, permanently re-introducing her to the Oakdale community as Carolyn Dana Crawford. Kim pulls Barbara aside and lectures her niece to not get her spirits too high; Carrie is no Jennifer and Jennifer is never coming back. Across the continent, Rosanna seeks help from Kathy. Rosanna writes a check and Kathy tells her that the man brings the infant to the market where she works every Thursday around noon. Set in her place, Rosanna's frightened when the fire alarm at the market goes off. Amidst all the chaos (with people running everywhere), Rosanna tries to make out the sandy haired toddler rested in a man's arms, but gets shove aside. Regaining her stance, Rosanna searches for the man and the boy, but they're gone from her sight. Later, Rosanna returns to the market and learns that a woman named Kathy never worked there. Alison's convinced that Colin is hiding something huge and decides to keep up her sherade. Luke begs Holden to keep quiet, but Holden fumes that Jade is starting to return to her old ways by having everyone do her dirty work for her. Upset by Holden's words, Jade decides to call the whole thing off and give up. At the Lakeview, though, Colin gets tipsy thanks to Alison. He reveals that he's spying on Jade for the Taylors. Before he'll tell her why, though, Colin passes out with his hand comically placed on Alison's boob. Alison wiggles to get free, but Colin bolts up and drunkenly fumbles for the buttons on her jeans. Running an errand for Dusty, Aaron happens to see the whole thing and knocks Colin cold before taking Alison with him. Alison lies to Aaron that Colin is gay and was just playing around. Later, Colin shows up at work with a black eye and arrogantly jokes to Jade that her friend's boyfriend has a nice right hook, obviously unfazed by Aaron's assault. While at the farm dropping off the girls with Emma, Lily has a brief talk with Clark. She explains that her mother is Lucinda Walsh, but Clark doesn't recongize the name. Outside, Clark sees Luke and Kevin kissing farewell and seems disgusted. Over dinner, Clark reveals that he's not too accepting of Luke's lifestyle, which Luke accidentally overhears. Later, Jack comes by Lily's and tells her there's something she should know. He informs her that he had an old FBI friend dig a little and it turns out that Clark was once married at the age of fifteen, but there's no record of the marriage actually being filed. Confused, Lily hides the details from Holden, hoping to do some more digging of her own before getting her husband's hopes up about Clark's shady past. A few days later, Jack approaches Lily outside Emma's house and asks her what he has to do to win Carly back, unaware that Carly is behind him. Lisa confronts Tom about putting Casey in the middle of his recent fight with Margo. Tom lectures that Casey did that himself by breaking the law. Shocked at her son's words, Lisa implores him to quit thinking like a lawyer and start thinking like a father. Later, Tom attemps to make amends to Margo by reserving them a room at the Lakeview, but his pager goes off. They decide to try again later that night at home, but Casey snoring in the room beside them keeps them from doing anything. Later, Margo seeks advice from Lyla, who invites Casey to come stay with her until he can find a place of his own. Maybe with Casey out of the house, Margo suggests, she and Tom can get their groove back. Elsewhere, Katie tries to seek a solution to her pregnancy problem, thinking of ways she can break it to her husband that she lied. When Brad gushes about the possibility of becoming the father he never had, Katie's touched by his words and decides to keep the lie going for a little longer. Gwen applies for a job at Donovan's. Dusty hires her on the spot and agrees to work around her schedule with Hallie. When Gwen returns home to share the good news with Iris, she's shocked to find Will holding Hallie. Acidly, she hisses that Will's only job is to mow the yard; she doesn't want him around Hallie unless she's around. Later, Gwen finds beer cans in the back yard and guesses that Will was drinking while he was playing with Hallie. Upset, she runs to Iris, who assures her daughter that Will would never jeopardize his marriage like that. Once Gwen has left to put Hallie down, we see that Iris planted the beer cans in hopes of driving Gwen and Will further apart. Later, Will gets introduced to Carrie and automatically, the two hit it off. Barbara gets unsettled by the chemistry between the two and sends Noah after his girlfriend.
  20. No, not her daughter. Her sister. HALF-sister!
  21. Gwen frets to Iris how uncomfortable it makes her feel to have Will so close, especially when she moved in with her mother to stay away from him. Carly stops by to ask Gwen to watch the kids while she goes out of town for a day on business. After some intense interrogation, Carly finally gives in and reveals that she's actually going to Montana so she can get her head right. Gwen rolls her eyes and sarcastically giggles that Carly can't seriously be running away again. That's what got her in this position in the first place, she says. Carly takes offense and leaves, later running into Emma. The Snyder matriarch echoes the same sentiment. For years, Carly's been in this same routine: when things get to be too much or too confusing, she leaves town, and returns to find a whole new chaos. Maybe staying put is the best solution. Just like Emma recently discovered, she counsels that running away isn't always the best thing to do. A few days later, Jack comes over to Carly's to return Sage's backpack. When he makes a joke about their fishing trip last week, Carly's reminded of the kiss and scolds Jack for kissing her in front of the children. Although he maintains that it was just an innocent peck on the cheek, Carly argues that any symbol of affection might give the kids false hope about them getting back together. Tightening his brow, Jack wonders aloud if maybe he's catching the same confusion since he thought that they had agreed on starting over. Perhaps he's running off of false hope too, he huffs. Carly quietly reminds him that they agreed to start over, not get back together. Aaron and Casey sip cola and grab popcorn by the handfuls, shoving it into their mouths as they both spring up and yell "Touchdown!!" Alison comes in and disgustingly chuckles at what slobs they are. After Casey leaves, Alison thanks Aaron again for trying to be civil. Aaron shrugs that Casey's not as bad as he thought. He was just jealous after seeing how close Alison and Casey had become. He started wondering if maybe people who didn't know them thought that Casey was her boyfriend. That would never happen, Alison explains. Everyone in Oakdale should know by now that she's Aaron's...and only Aaron's. The next day, in Old Town, Luke catches Alison and asks if she's ready to help them expose Colin. Hesitant, Alison starts to backtrack and opt out of the original agreement. Luke begs her, explaining that she'll only have to have a drink or two with the guy; nothing too harmful. Eventually, Alison agress. Later, before Colin goes on the date with Alison, he learns from Jade that Luke is Lily's son. Intrigued, Colin heads off for his date. Soon, Holden sees Alison and Colin sharing a laugh and automatically makes assumptions. While Luke spies his dad from afar and rushes to keep him from confronting Alison in front of Colin, Colin heads off to the bathroom. Following him, Alison overhears Colin reporting to Mr. Taylor that he still hasn't found anything, but he believes Jade's cousin Luke might be helpful in his search. Carrie still holds onto the photo of Cabot, desperately pleaing with God to help her. Noah comes in and almost catches her with the photo. She reveals that she's moving back in with Barbara. Noah's shocked and acidly, Carrie rhetorically asks if Noah really thought this living arrangement would last. Days later, Barbara welcomes Carrie back into the penthouse and makes Paul apologize for lying. Later, Paul vows to Carrie that he'll be keeping an eye on her. Fed up, Carrie asks how long Paul is going to keep his mother in the dark about the fact that she's Darryl's daughter. Walking back in to discuss designs, Barbara overhears Carrie's statement and stops dead in her tracks. Across town, Rosanna sets off to follow the lead about Cabot in Arizona. She runs into a woman named Kathy, who suggests that she might know more...if the price is right. Margo comes home and finds out from Tom that Casey's parole officer has a meeting with him in the morning. Starting to panic, Margo wonders what the parole officer wants now. Eventually, after watching his wife in silent panic mode all day, Tom reveals that he knows Margo lied to Casey's parole officer about letting him borrow the car. Margo tries to apologize, but Tom seems more betrayed by the fact that Margo lied than the actual lie itself. After twenty-something years of marriage, he sarcastically grunts, you think they would have worked out the honesty part. Tom also huffs that he can't believe that Margo, an officer of the law, would sacrifice her job like that. Teary eyed, she screams that Tom knows he would do the same thing for Casey...or would he? Tom is hurt by Margo's fierce, emotional questioning of his parenting and storms out. Later, Casey comes home and learns that his mother and father are fighting. Upset that they're fighting over him, he seeks advice from Lisa, who promises to talk to his father for him.
