    Lucy Returns!

Peyton List, who returned for a short term stint as "Lucy Montgomery" back in June, is returning yet again. "This is another short term thing, but I feel it has to be made to progress the story," says Executive Producer and Headwriter Dusty Alford.

Lucy was last seen in bed with Dusty right after he learned Meg was pregnant. Kind of a douchebag, huh? "He thought Meg was up to her old tricks, but it turned out that she was actually telling the truth," says Grayson McCouch, who portrays "Dusty Donovan".

When Lucy returns, though, things are definitely going to start getting messy. "She has a surprise for him. But it's a bad one," says McCouch. "Dusty's already got enough problems with guilt [over sleeping with Lucy while his pregnant fiancee' stayed up waiting for him]. He doesn't need this right now."

Look for List to return on August 2.

West Sees the 'Light'; Joins 'World'

    This Just In!

Marty West (ex-Shayne Lewis, GL) has been cast in the role of "Jason Summers", says a spokesperson for The World Of Oakdale.

Best known for his portrayal of the son of GL's resident supercouple Josh and Reva, West has not been seen since his departure from the show in 2004.

A casting call was issued about a month ago, and after extensive search, a decision was finally made. "Marty just seemed so laid back and was willing to do anything. He seemed perfect for the high-strung role of 'Jason'," says Executive Producer and Headwriter Dusty Alford.

West screen tested with Trent Dawson and Terri Colombino. But where's Mike? "Off with his toolbelt somewhere, I suppose," laughed Alford.

Look for Marty West to debut as 'Jason' on July 24.

But one last thing. Readers must be wondering who 'Jason' is. And that's exactly what TPTB are wanting. "You're not meant to know," teases Alford. "That would ruin the element of surprise".

    GIROLAMO OUT!

After months of deliberation, The World Of Oakdale has finally sent one Oakdale teen packing. Karl Girolamo, who plays the recurring role of "Kevin Davis" on As The World Turns and the contract role of "Heath Clayborn" on The World Of Oakdale, has been let go according to a show spokesperson.

Heath, who came to town with his traveling businessman father, soon found himself face to face with his childhood sweetheart, "Maddie Coleman". The two started regaining ground, but the jealousy of Maddie's crush, Luke Snyder, soon smashed a huge dent in their relationship. "Heath felt like he was in the middle of this huge love circus," says Girolamo. "He knew he wanted the girl, but he had no idea that Luke would do half the stuff he did in order to make sure he never got the girl. I think that really threw him off."

Heath will last be seen boarding a bus for Penn State, just one day after high school graduation. Viewers may be confused by the fact that someone is leaving so early for college, but according to setside sources, that will be addressed. Girolamo's last air date is July 3rd.

As far as cast changes, they're far from over! TWO MORE actors will be let go by the end of this week.

And soon, another one will be making their debut on the canvas. But not if viewers refuse to let their voice be heard. According to Executive Producer and Headwriter Dusty Alford, they've come to a dead end as far as casting ideas. "The new role of 'Jason' is going to be in his early twenties. He lives a very complicated and hectic life and comes to Oakdale hoping to escape all of that."

LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD! POST A COMMENT AND LET TPTB KNOW WHO YOU THINK MIGHT COULD POSSIBLY PLAY THE ROLE OF "JASON"!! WITHOUT INPUT, THERE'S NO CHANCE THE CHARACTER WILL EVER SEE THE LIGHT OF DAY!
