  1. In her defense, she really wasn't given any material to work with the last time. The biggest impact she had was her fight with Quinn. Otherwise, she was a dull character and a watered down version of herself the last go around. This time she has a story and it promises to shake up the entire canvas with her being Finn's momma.
  2. Disney has mandated it for the majority of its employees and is working with unions on implementation, so essentially if an actor isn't vaccinated at the time it officially becomes a requirement for employment, they'll either comply or lose their jobs. It's unlikely any actor on the soaps will actually get fired in that I'd be surprised if any of them actually don't comply.
  3. Sheila Carter is really back this time when actress Kimberlin Brown reprises her iconic role on "The Bold and the Beautiful" just in time for Finn and Steffy's wedding! Hmm... 4. Found this laying around in the system for articles. Thought you'd like it: (C) Brad Everett Young They've corrected their story. Previously it said she's back as Kristen. Officially, we don't know who she'll be playing.
  5. Christie Clark, Austin Peck, Thaao Penghlis and Leann Hunley are all going "Beyond Salem" for Peacock's limited series spinoff of "Days of our Lives." 6. While I think the poster meant Zach, Grant Tinker is actually Zach's late grandfather: Outside of his television work, some of Tinker’s fondest memories are that of his time with family. “My mom is Italian, and we have a huge extended family, so all of those gatherings!” he says. Other notable family memories include that of his late grandfather, Grant Tinker, who ran NBC as the network’s chairman and CEO during what is considered one of the biggest golden eras of television with such shows as “The Cosby Show,” “The Golden Girls,” “Hill Street Blues” and “Family Ties,” among countless others. Here's my interview with Zach from last year: https://www.soapoperanetwork.com/2020/05/catching-up-zach-tinker-the-young-and-the-restless-love-quarantine-career
  7. Unless I'm mistaken, I don't think he's who people kept asking, "Who is that?"
  8. Tinker's casting means that technically Will is now older than Sonny in terms of their real-life portrayer's ages. Chandler Massey was born in 1990 and Tinker was born in 1994. Smith was born in 1988.
  9. Eileen Davidson is joining the cast of "Days of our Lives: Beyond Salem," the five-part limited series spinoff of "Days of our Lives." However, it's not known at this time if she'll be portraying her iconic character, Kristen DiMera, or someone new. 10. Zach Tinker has been cast as Sonny Kiriakis on "Days of our Lives: Beyond Salem," the Peacock limited series spinoff of "Days of our Lives." 13. At first I had written he had died from falling off of a horse which was a mistake as the official wording used by people on the set was that he died "sitting on a horse ready to rope a steer." It is rather confusing, yes. At this time there is no further details used to elaborate on the matter.
  14. Soap alum Jay Pickett ("Port Charles," "General Hospital," "Days of our Lives") has “died sitting on a horse ready to rope a steer" during production for his new movie "Treasure Valley in Idaho," according to the actor's friend and co-producer of Jim Heffel.
