A day of danger and emotions in Springfield....



Bank:


David and Remy run in along with a swat team.
The two robbers lie dead on the ground having been shot by police from outside.

The next thing they see is Olivia.
She is covered in blood.
But it's not her blood.

Olivia is sitting next to Gus who has been shot.
She is holding a cloth over his chest to stop the bleeding.
It's her new jacket.
David runs over, "Gus? What happened?"
Olivia is hysterical, "He was shot! They aimed at me and he jumped in front of me then they were both taken out! Oh my God! Help him!"
Remy takes Olivia, "Come on let's back up."
She shouts, "NO! I need to make sue he's okay."
Gus opens his eyes, "Did they get her...."
Olivia sobs, "I'm fine Gus! Why did you do that?"
He's still in shock, "It's.... my... job."
The EMT's run over to Gus.
Olivia stares in disbelief.



Company:


Marina sits with her father.
Frank holds her in his arms, "Oh Baby. I wish I could just make all of this pain go away for you."
She sighs, "You are helping me more than you know."

Harley walks over, "Frank!"
Frank jumps up, "Sis! Oh it's great to see you!"
Harley hugs him, "Oh I'm so glad your here."
He nods, "Well I'm here when you need me."
She looks at Marina, "Oh sweetheart. I'm sorry I'm late."
Marina shakes her head, "It's fine. My Dad surprised me so it's all fine right now."
Harley hugs her, "Is there anything I can do for you?"
Marina sighs, "No. Thank you. But... it's just gonna take some time."
Harley nods, "Well we are all here for you."
Marina gets up, "I'm gonna get some air."
She walks outside to the porch.

She runs into Cyrus.
He looks at her, "Marina. I'm so sorry."
She hugs him, "How have you been?"
He sighs, "I'm not doing bad."
She smiles, "I'm happy for you. I hope that soon you get to have the happiness that i had with Danny."
Cyrus can see Harley through the window, "Yeah maybe someday I will."



Laurel Falls:


Michelle has a picnic basket.
"I know it's cold out but I felt maybe I should do this."
Michelle looks around, "Even in this weather it's still beautiful here. This place is like magic. Oh Danny. We've been through so much. And for it be over... or whatever it is. I just don't think it's gonna be easy."
She looks around.
"This is where you made all of my dreams come true. We had our engagement/wedding here. You were a dream come true."
She remembers their wedding that they had there.
She cries, "We were always best when we were alone. We shared something that no one else could possibly understand. I was proud to call you my husband, my love."
She pulls out some champagne.
She pours herself a glass.
"We had something amazing Danny. And no one will ever change that. Never Danny."
She raises her glass, "To us."
She drinks.



Malah House:


Dinah and Mallet sit on their couch.
They hold their son.
Dinah smiles, "Little Anthony Marler Mallet."
Mallet grins, "Can you believe we created something so beautiful?"
She shakes her head, "I am still in shock. Our beautiful little boy. Our boy. Look at him. He's got your smile."
Mallet laughs, "Nah. But he's got your eyes."
She cries, "He's the most beautiful little guy I've ever seen. We are so blessed Mallet."
He kisses her, "I'm blessed every time I look at you."
She sighs, "I spent year feeling like I was left out. Like I was the most unlucky person in the world. But looking at him changes evety thing. It makes all of the other things seem... not so bad."
He smiles, "You have no idea how happy I am to hear you say that."
She stares at the baby, "For years you, my Mom, Daddy, Maureen. You all tell me that there is good in me but it's hard to see that. But I think I'm looking right at it."
Dinah smiles at her Son.



Reva Bend:


Roxie walks back into the living room.
Rusty walks over, "We need to talk."
She looks around, "Where is Reva?"
Rusty sighs, "She went to get something. You need to watch what you say little sister."
She is confused, "What is this about?"
He sighs, "Cassie. You know she is still our sister. You haven't even met her."
She walks past him, "I don't need to. I know she hurt Reva and that's all that matters. She was a bad sister."
Rusty looks at her, "What about before that? Right after you found out about Cassie you didn't like her. You said Reva shouldn't trust her."
Roxie nods, "And I was right! Cassie wasn't good enough to be Reva's sister. And now she knows that."
He stares at her, "You keep saying that. 'Reva's sister'. She is our sister too."
She sighs, "Well I don't know her and you don't know her too well either."
He walks towards her, "Are you jealous of Reva and Cassie?"
Roxie scoffs, "How dare you?"
He sighs, "I just want to be sure that you don't get into trouble. Remember I know what your capable of. Even if Reva doesn't. Your not the same woman you once were."
She walks away.
Rusty worries about his sister.



Spaulding Mansion:


Cassandra walks around, "Edmund?"
She has been looking for him.
One of the maids walks up to her, "Excuse me I found Mr. Winslow's phone outside."
Cassandra takes it, "Hmm. It's not like him to leave this behind."
She goes into her office with it."
She goes through his calls.
She stops and stares, "Edmund... why on earth would you be calling Alexandra Spaulding?"
She keeps going through it, "Why have you repeatedly called Alexandra Spaulding?"
She goes onto her computer.
She looks over the business deal that have been failing.
Edmund had a part in all of them.
She sits back, "Oh my God. That son of a bitch. He has been working with Alex behind my back."
Cassandra is furious.

PART TWO:

Malah House:
Dinah turns to Mallet.
She talks to him, "I have been through so much. I was raised in a carnival. Then I had that horrible time with Cassie that led to me.... when I murdered Hart."
Mallet sighs, "We don't need to rehash that."
She nods, "We need to. After that I spent years on the run. Then I went back to my obsession with Cassie. And I grew an obsession with Edmund. It was a while before I could get over it all. But then you came into my life and changed eveything."
He nods, "I fell in love with you."
She sighs, "And then that bullet came and took everything away. I thought my life was over after that."
He looks at her, "But it wasn't."
She nods, "No it wasn't. It was far from over. Because of him."
Mallet smiles, "He's great isn't he?"
She looks at Baby Anthony, "He is just... like a light. A light that I found. Now I don't think I'll ever let it go."
Mallet scoots closer and kisses her.
The two look down at their child.

Reva Bend:
Rusty follows Roxie, "I don't think we're through talking."
She turns to him, "What did you mean what I'm capable of?"
He sighs, "Sister I didn't mean it that way. I just mean that you aren't a very... you just have a temper."
She turns to him, "I was going through a lot. I mean first it was Johnny, then we thought Reva was dead, then Mama died. I just... I didn't trust Cassie that's all I wasn't jealous of her."
He nods, "Because you know there is nothing to be jealous of."
She agrees, "Yes. Reva sees Cassie for who she is now."
Rusty sighs, "I mean that Reva can love you both. You are both her sisters. And you are all my sisters."
Roxie shakes her head, "Don't put me in the same category as Cassie."
He looks at her, "She is your sister as well."
She walks off, "Leave me alone okay? I haven't been in town long enough for you too start going off on me."
He shakes his head, "I am not going off on you Roxie. I am worried about what you might do."
She grabs her purse, "I'm busy. I need to check on Rick. His brother in law's funeral is today."
Rusty stops her, "You need to give Rick some space. He is with Mindy."
Roxie scoffs, "I'm not doing anything. I know he's with Mindy."
Rusty stares at her, "Roxie. Please. Just don't do anything you'll regret."
She nods, "Wouldn't dream of it."
She leaves.

Spaulding Mansion:
Cassandra sits in her office, "That bastard! I trusted him! I thought he would make a great partner! But he was in an alliance with Alex."

Tammy's Ghost walks over, "I told you to be aware of him Mom."
Cassandra sighs, "I know I'm so sorry. This isn't over."
Tammy nods, "It better hadn't be. Because we are not through with this town. They need to pay for what happened to me."
Cassandra nods, "Yes, yes I know. We aren't done yet. I'm still working on the Lewises for betraying us and I will."
Tammy continues, "And now Edmund. He turned on us. Just like I knew he would and now you know what you have to do."
Cassandra is confused, "I do?"
Tammy nods, "You have to use him. Don't let him know that you know. And once your done with him. He's done."
Cassandra smiles, "Oh Baby. I don't know where I'd be without you. I love you Tammy."
Tammy looks at her, "Now you can prove it. Take this town down. One piece at a time."
Tammy fades away.
Cassandra pulls herself together and walks out.

Company:


Rick and Mindy are sitting together.
Rick turns to her, "Oh just so you know Roxie might show up."
Mindy sighs, "Oh Rick! I don't want to see her."
He looks at her, "What's wrong with Roxie/"
Mindy sighs, "She is all kinds of creepy. I mean she's like.. nuts."
He shakes his head, "Please don't use that term."
She scoffs, "Well she's not a sane person and that s all that matters to me. Believe me there is something I don't trust about her."
Rick sighs, "Today is about Danny. I need to look for my sister."
Rick gets up.
Across the room Marina sits with her family.
Marina smiles, "Thank you guys for everything. It's always nice to have family around."
Frank hugs his daughter, "We are always here for you."
Harley gets up, "I'm gonna go check on the kids."
Harley sees Rick, "Hey how are you?"
Rick hugs her, "Hey have you seen Michelle?"
Harley shakes her head, "No. How is she?"
Rick sighs, "She's as well as can be expected."
Harley nods, "Losing the true love of your life and not even really being with them at the time. I can't even imagine that."
Remy runs inside, "Harley."
Harley looks at him, "Is everything okay Remy?"
He sighs, "You need to get to Cedars. It's Gus."
Harley's mouth drops.



Cedars:
Gus is rushed in.
Olivia runs, "Gus. Gus I'm here with you! Okay? Don't worry I'm not going anywhere!"
The doctors examine him.

Lillian walks over, "Oh my God! Gus?"
Olivia turns to her, "Lilian they need to help him!"
Lillian sits Olivia down, "Olivia. What happened to Gus. Just tell me what happened?"
Olivia cries, "Thank bank robbery. We were there. They tried... to... shoot .. me. But Gus... saved me. He saved my life."
Lillian sighs, "Olivia I'm so sorry. But these doctors are great and they are gonna do everything they can."
Olivia stares at Gus, "I just still don't understand."
Lillian is confused, "Understand what?"
Olivia turns to her, "Why he did it."
Olivia watches as Gus is taken away.

Laurel Falls:
Michelle looks up, "Danny you have always been there for me. And I know that we had our problems but it was all worth it. It was all worth everything we had to go through. Danny you are my love. No one will change that. I love you. Even if I say that to other men, it will always be you."
The wind picks up.
She sighs, "But I need to let go. Because that part of my life is done. I need to get in touch with who I am outside of us. I need to get to know Michelle Bauer. Focus on saving people as a doctor. Even though I couldn't save you...... I need to be good friend, daughter, as sister. But most of all I need to be a great mother. Like my Mom. And my Grandma Bert. I need to be all that I can be for them. Robbie and Hope. I love you Danny. Forever."
She stands up and takes one last look around, "Goodbye Danny. Thank you for what you've given me. I'll never forget it. I'll never forget you. No matter what. I promise."
Michelle takes a deep breathe and then leaves Laurel Falls.

Danny and Michelle had a kind of love that others wish for. A love that never dies. Manny Forever.
