2/8/06

-Everyone is now at the Brady Pub for the reception. They all toast to the lives of Shawn Sr, Mickey, and Claire. Pete says goodbye to Melissa and everyone else as he leaves. Mike, Jeremy, Laura, and Bill all head for the airport too after saying goodbye to Carrie, Lucas, Jen, Abby, Alice and the rest of the Horton’s. They promise to visit more. Same goes for Marie, Sandy, and Tommy who all leave as well. Don prepares to leave but is very concerned about Maggie. The same goes for Melissa and Sarah who both need to leave to catch planes home. A storm is threatening to delay tons of flights and they all want to get out before they get stuck. Maggie stays quiet but does somehow muster up enough control to say goodbye to those leaving. She says goodbye to Don too who says he will be back soon to visit. Same goes for Melissa and Sarah, both of whom consider staying but Maggie talks them out of it. They are happy to see Maggie reacting to them and talking finally. Little do they know that the reason why Maggie is coming out of her depression is because she is eyeing the liquor behind the bar. She tells Melissa and Sarah she will be fine. They say goodbyes to everyone and leave. Jessica and Joshua Fallon give their condolences again and leave. Spencer and Steven prepare to leave too. Julie reminds Steven of what she asked him earlier. She wants to know who Spencer’s mother is. Steven says its not her concern. They say their goodbyes to everyone and leave. Julie is intrigued.

-Sami keeps an eye on Lucas and Maggie. Lucas again tells her to back off. Sami and Austin continue to wonder what is going on with Carrie. Carrie mingles with her relatives. Kim and Kayla ask her about Austin. She tells them that Austin and her are through. Austin overhears and jumps in demanding to know once and for all what is going on. It now becomes clear that the mystery man who just arrived in Salem via bus has a connection to Austin, Sami, and Carrie.

-Lucas catches Maggie eyeing the bottle. She sneaks behind the bar but Lucas stops her and urges her to resist. He admits he is tempted too but they can’t fall off the wagon again, especially after what happened the last time. Sami watches them as Lucas comforts Maggie who continues to be hard on herself and filled with grief.

-Eric catches up with his family. He asks Sami what she is up too but gets no concrete answer. He catches up with John and Marlena too and says he is happy that things are going better. The mystery person continues to watch them. He catches up with his father too and is shocked to see him with someone like Bonnie. Nicole notices that while alone Eric looks weak and has trouble with his balance. She eventually confronts him on it but he says he can’t talk about here. He takes her outside. He tells her he came back fro the funeral but also for her. He needs her and still loves her and didn’t like the way he left things. He said he needed to come home to Salem to be with his family and the woman he loves. He asks if she will still have him and she admits she still loves him. They kiss. Nicole asks again about why he looks and acts sick. Eric says he hit his head and sustained a concussion so he hasn’t been good on his feet lately. He says he is fine now and that his grandfather’s death made him realize how short life is. He needed Nicole and now he is back to stay. She offers him a job at ARC (Austin Reed & Co) as a photographer and says Austin wouldn’t mind and Sami wouldn’t either given who it is. Eric agrees if its ok with everyone. Nicole asks Austin who agrees and thinks it would be great. Sami is happy too but not happy to see him back with Nicole, Ditto that for Roman and Marlena. Eric insists its ok and that his life is perfect now that he is back with his family, friends, lover, and in Salem for good.

-Hope asks Bo where Billie is. He says she went home and didn’t want it to be uncomfortable. They catch up with Kim and Kayla. Abe and Celeste do the same. Celeste starts to have visions of people arguing and yelling and says that lives will change tonight. Lexie asks them both about their closeness. Abe says they are just friends. Lexie doesn’t like it. A Dimera driver then comes in to ask Lexie when she will be ready to go. Abe and Celeste are shocked that Celeste’s vision came through-Lexie is back in the Dimera house. Celeste insists that the rest of her vision will come true too-she will go back to her Dimera ways. Abe is disgusted. Lexie tires to reason with him. Abe then blurts out everything about Lexie and Tek’s affair and the circumstances of his death. Everyone at the pub focuses on Lexie and Abe as they now know about her infedelity and move back into the Dimera mansion. Hope and Jen comfort her and are very forgiving, as are many of the Horton’s and Brady’s who really try not to take sides. They try to encourage Abe to forgive Lexie but he just walks away as Celeste comforts him, unnerving Lexie again.

-Shawn and Mimi talk about their wedding with the Brady’s and Horton’s. Everyone is very excited. Belle is growing jealous though. Marlena and John try to help her through it as Bonnie continues to gloat. Marlena warns Bonnie to stop making this worse for Belle or she will have her to deal with.

-Rex, Cassie, Chloe, and Brady all catch up with everyone too. They leave to catch their flights too but not before saying goodbye to their loved ones. Mimi is heartbroken when Rex doesn’t even say goodbye to her. Shawn comforts her. Meanwhile, Cassie vows to get revenge on Mimi one day and all those in Salem who hurt her and her brother. Privately, Rex admits he still loves Mimi and that is why he was so mean and cold hearted today. He can;t bear to see her with Shawn. Rex and Cassie leave, as do Chloe and Brady.

-Victor tries to comfort Caroline but she pulls away. She avoids him by catching up with Kim, Kayla, Shane, etc but he keeps pulling her aside. He knows she needs him but is afraid of their secret coming out. Roman catches them and picks a fight with Victor. Bonnie helps stop it and comforts Roman. Victor and Caroline talk behind the bar as he pledges his love to her and vows to be there for her no matter how hard she fights it. She worries about their secret and says she can’t run the risk of someone overhearing. Celeste then tells Abe that secrets are about to be revealed that will change lives. At that very moment, Victor and Caroline realize that Sami has overheard their whole conversation. She blurts out in amazement how they kept their affair in the castle from everyone and it is overheard by everyone. It stops Austin and Carrie’s conversation over what is going on with her too. Everyone in the room is stunned. Meanwhile, during all this, Maggie grabs a bottle of Irish whiskey and runs out of the pub. Lucas is the only one that sees her and follows her. Everyone else remains in the Pub though. The Brady’s are in shock. Roman lunges at Victor and punches him, sending Victor to the ground in a heap. Bo and John hold him back as Caroline realizes her worst fears are coming true. The screen then freezes on Caroline’s face as the screen fades to black.
