This was really an interesting read. I think it is the first time I read something about the 40s Guiding Light (or at least in so much detail). (I apologize for so many questions, but I am asking just in case someone knows the answers :) And I read this last night before bed, so excuse me if I ask something that might be answered in the text).
So I assume that Ned Holden served here as a transition between the characters from before the cancellation to the new characters? Or were Ray and Julie and Martin and other characters already existing characters that were also there before the cancellation?
Was Ray really innocent and Martin did frame him to send him to prison?
Who was Tim Lawrence?
Did Frank just slide off? No one pushed him? He really is the most tragic character. And usually so much tragedy happens to female characters, I don't remember seeing so much tragic stuff happen to a male character.
