Character actor Barnard Hughes has died. He once appeared on The Guiding Light as Dr. Bruce Banning (1961-1966), Dark Shadows as Stuart Bronson (1966), The Secret Storm as Wilfred Hollister (1968-1969), and As the World Turns as Mr. Barton (1969-1970). He might be best known to modern viewers as the grandfather in the film The Lost Boys as well as the grandfather on the 1990s sitcom Blossom.
