Hearing Brooke talk about Steffy and how she would suffer for a little before realizing it's better for the company... and Hope telling her how she is impressed with Brooke having empathy for Steffy... made me laugh out loud so much... LOOOOOL. Only Brooke could act like this and pretend that she is doing someone a favor while destroying their life/professional career etc. This is sooo late 90s-early 00s coded Brooke when she would talk about Taylor like this and go around acting like she won the war for Ridge before it was over. It's always a sign that she will fall flat on her ass. And seeing Hope in the enabler position to her mother's narcissistic delusion is... chef's kiss. I love dynamics like these, because they are entertaining and toxic at the same time. I'm seeing people talk about how ratchet all these people are... how Brooke was this and that and how Steffy was horrible too... but you know what... - that's what makes it SO FUN. At least for me. It's a potential for a character study and personality disorder exhibition. What I love most about soaps. And the way JMW reacted to Ridge's idea about Brooke was top notch acting. She didn't go into melodrama or too much, she did it in a very realistic... toned way... which impressed me so much. No wonder she has so many Emmys, she is THAT good.

So yeah... I'm enjoying Brooke back to her delusional entitled ways. Mature boring Brooke DOESN'T work. She needs CHAOS to thrive in the show. And this could go either way actually... whatever that stupid pig Ridge decides - the aftermath could be EPIC.

You know how much I've been critical of this show for the past... I don't know... DECADE... so I'm not gonna lie and pretend I am not enjoying it. And I'm happy the ratings are so good too. Now if this could be a transitional period towards new head writer... that would be even better. A boy can dream, right.

Bold is so comically ridiculous. I can't help but be entertained that Brooke thinks simply telling Ridge that she wants Steffy's job means that's what will happen, as if there's not a Board of Directors to weigh in or Steffy actually refusing to step down. Steffy sucks but hurt feelings aren't a reason to fire someone from the top job. It's not propah. It's not propah at all.

To be fair, Brooke just needs to convince Ridge & Eric, and the latter has never said no to her. Also, as a phrase of the month: Not Propah >>>>>>>Co-CEO.

Love seeing Brooke act this way too. The beauty of Brooke when she's written properly is that she justifies her selfishness to herself enough times that she actually believes she's being altruistic.

I thought Steffy did a great job sticking up for herself and her accomplishments. I'm waiting for her to throw Brooke going along with Eric's retirement in her face. It won't happen, but Steffy cashing out and going to Logan would be a great twist.
