Tamron Hall, The Tamron Hall Show

“Tamron Hall” is the latest daytime talk show to be renewed for another season in national syndication, following “The Drew Barrymore Show,” which was picked up for another two seasons earlier this month.

The ABC Owned Television Stations announced it has picked up the Tamron Hall-hosted talk show for Season 8, which will take the lifestyle program through the 2026-2027 television season.

“My vision of where we’re going usually comes to me in the middle of [the] night, and all of these changes were happening,” said Hall in a statement released toVariety, which first reported the renewal news, while referring to the recent cancellations of other daytime talk shows, including “Sherri” and “Karamo,” and Kelly Clarkson‘s decision to conclude hosting “The Kelly Clarkson Show” after seven seasons.

“And I said, ‘Let’s Keep Talking.’ Season 8. That’s our thing,” continued Hall, who returned to her show’s New York studio on Monday after hosting this year’s Oscars Red Carpet Show on ABC with Jesse Palmer. “I called our team, and I said, ‘Let’s Keep Talking.’ The landscape is always going to change. Some of Conan’s jokes at the Oscars, where he talked about us watching our phones to consume movies and all of these AI jokes, landed partly because the industry is fearful of these changes. So it’s not unique to daytime. I think there are obviously some big headlines. But in truth, everywhere you go, people are having the same conversation. ‘Will I keep working? Will I continue to be able to do what I love?’ That’s not unique to daytime TV. I think what we are seeing is a reflection of a larger conversation. So that’s why our theme is ‘Let’s Keep Talking,’ whether it’s on daytime TV, whether it’s in a podcast, whatever version of this. I think that will never go out of style.”

During the show’s current seventh season, celebrity guests have included Mo’Nique, Priscilla Presley, Deion Sanders, Jim Gaffigan, the Chrisley family, Cam Newton, Christian Siriano, Judge Greg Mathis and Jackée Harry (“Days of our Lives”), among others.

“I’m still so proud of the fact that we get news exclusives,” said Hall to Variety. “Whatever people may think of, for example, the Chrisleys, they came on our show for their first interview out of prison. Malcolm Jamal Warner’s mother was one of the most powerful interviews I think we’ve done this season. And we’ve had some of the reality stars who find themselves in a pickle. I’m still very proud when a newsmaker or a competitive booking that might go to a great show like ‘GMA’ or a ‘Nightline,’ they want to come on the ‘Tamron Hall’ show because they know that audience is engaged.”

“Tamron Hall” remains Disney’s second-longest-running syndicated talk show, behind “Live with Kelly and Mark,” and next season will be one of just five daytime talk shows remaining following this season’s conclusion of “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” “Sherri,” “The Steve Wilkos Show” and “Karamo.” Other shows continuing next season include “The Jennifer Hudson Show,” “The Drew Barrymore Show,” “Live with Kelly and Mark,” and “The View.”

Featuring a dynamic mix of live and taped shows, “Tamron Hall” is produced by ABC News and is distributed in national syndication by Disney Entertainment. The show broadcasts from New York City and is executive produced by Tamron Hall and Quiana Burns. In addition to its availability on ABC stations in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, San Francisco and Houston, the program is also cleared on stations owned by Hearst, Scripps, Sinclair, Nexstar, AMG, Cox Media Group, Gray Media, CBS Television Stations, Fox Television Stations and Mission Broadcasting.
