I am loving Annika these past few episodes. This girl is bringing it constantly - she deserves a proper storyline. JMW too. They BOTH need something MORE. Bradley - just copy/paste some of your father's storylines from the 80s and let us enjoy something, don't try to be original, doll.

I'd love to see Steffy and Hope in stories that gave them more to do than bicker with each other or fight over the same dullard of a dude (Liam, Finn...yada yada). Both actresses can do...and deserve...a LOT more! I am enjoying a feistier Hope. That poor actress had to cry in about almost every episode for....years! It's nice to see her do some fun things for a change.

Watching the show today...I thought that Carter and Hope would look hot together if they could craft the right story. God knows LSV is someone else who deserves sooo much more than they give him!

Katie needs a hobby. Being jealous over Bill again is a yawn. I still don't know WHO Poppy is... she's so ill-defined, but I'm hoping she is messy and a bit underhanded. Luna needs a edge badly. She's TOO perfect.

I could care less who killed the homeless rocker dude and Hollis (as handsome as he was). It's soooo contrived.

Yes to all of this. And Poppy's 15 second scream because someone was opening a door was... why a lot of people think soap operas are the worst of the worst on TV.

I am not feeling any of the new characters. Any of them. They are incredibly underdeveloped. This is a problem Bradley has always had with trying new paths and new personalities. He just can't do it most of the time, bores of them easily and always has to go back to basics which is opening Brooke's legs. Or some boring triangle with Liam in it.

One thing that irked me about the script is the complete lack of realism in the past few episodes. Luna coming in from outside, seeing Will for the first time in flesh and asking "Who are you?" was absolutely absurd, SINCE NuWill's photo was standing just behind him IN A FRAME. You can't tell me that Luna and Poppy HAVEN'T looked at the few pictures that are framed in the living room. I mean... if they haven't... then this is idiotic. Idiotic writing. Reminds me of Poppy asking Katie who is this... when she met her, all while she was sleeping and practically living in Bill's house. Katie's picture is also up there and even if it wasn't, just a QUICK google search about Bill will show you who she is.

So, yeah, Bradley once again writing, like we are 13 year old.

I thought the SAME THING. Dude's picture was sitting on the mantle! Are we supposed to believe that Luna never noticed it, or Bill never showed it to her? It shouldn't have taken much for Luna to put 1 + 1 together to come up with it's Will standing in front of her. Poor Luna is not the brightest bulb on the Christmas tree.

Bill's "mansion" looks like it's six feet wide.

Right! And how are we supposed to care about these characters when they are written like that? I mean... and even if the picture WAS not behind him, out of sheer respect to your newfound dad... and family... why wouldn't she look Will up on google or facebook. We are not living in the 1980s anymore. The plot holes in this show are like the Mariana trench.

CM has some of the same tics his dad has in acting. He has that same frat boy vibe his dad has too.

Why is his mouth/facial reactions half crooked?

CM doesn't pass as Bill's son look wise.

Yes I watched

DID Luna accuses Poppy of killing the homeless guy after finding the mysterious backpack and letters claiming she's the daughter of a homeless guy.

Seriously Bill treated Katie like sh!t! Why would she care about him?

Finn is a wimp. He does nothing for me anymore.

    • Wasn't there talk of them bringing back Rita as Gus' mother at one point? Or something?
    • I think they are a part of the same family, although Carla was never really scheming for the same reasons, and once her double life was exposed, she stopped.
    • Rachel/Ada, Mona/Erica, a mother/daughter at LOVING, these are all examples of the Agnes Nixon "troublesome daughter/put upon mother" trope. Are Carla/Sadie by any chance one of the pairs that make up this trope? Another thing that these 2 shows might have in common. OLTL had a very strong thematic approach to socioeconomic differences between groups of people. Class differences. AW at an earlier point had this too but to be clear it was not as much as OLTL. So that is a similarity but marginal.  Besides that, I see no other comparable things. Paul Rauch was a very different EP at different shows. Oh, I've thought of one more thing. Using actors from the Broadway stage.  But, realistically that was something all of the NY shows had in common. So I don't think it has any uniqueness between AW & OLTL.
    • When you look at the period between Sweeps, it's as if they tried to maintain a kind of pace where they had a lot of plates spinning in the air & on their fingertips & the whole goal was nothing but to not drop any of those plates. A version of spinning one's wheels. They're not getting anywhere but they give the appearance of a whole lot of activity. I believe it's all about this appearance. At moments they accidentally hit a chord & something resonates but it is a false event.

    • I’m not speculating anything, but I admit, I’m getting a little worried about James Reynolds.
    • I feel like this is what they're doing by creating lots of storylines but their biggest weakness for years is the inability to properly pace these stories and give resolution. A good example now would be the Gio story which has been simmering for months with very little movement. I went from not caring to being invested to not caring again because of how long it's taking for the secret to be revealed. One story like that would be fine but it seems like everything moves at this snails pace on GH. They need to do a better job of rotating the stories so everything isn't in that same treading water phase.
    • However, those of us who watch DAYS have been spoiled. On Peacock there are no preemptions. Not for anything & not in or about any show.  I read somewhere that we Baby Boomers in a way invented instant gratification but then we realized that it was not fast enough.
    • The title track from the follow-up album Hot On the Trail is also co-written by Val Jean:
