Making her debut as Sloan Petersen on “Days of our Lives” in August 2022, actress Jessica Serfaty has been upped to contract status with the daytime drama series after previously being credited as a recurring player.

According to the Monday, May 22, 2023 episode’s end credits, Serfaty joins the contract cast list, which also features at least three other recent additions, including Steve Burton as Harris Michaels, Peter Porte as Dimitri von Leuschner and Aketra Sevillian as Talia Hunter.

Meanwhile, Matthew Ashford, who last appeared on the series in March as Jack Deveraux, was removed from the contract cast list as of the May 16, 2023 end credits.

Serfaty, who also goes by Jessica Michel on social media, made a name for herself in 2010 as a contestant on “America’s Next Top Model.” In recent years she’s had starring roles in such shows as “The Professionals” and “The Hack Job.”

The news was first reported on the Jason47 Facebook page, the social media home of the ultimate “Days of our Lives” historian.

New episodes of “Days of our Lives” stream weekdays on Peacock.
