Tippi Hedren: Alfred Hitchcock Sexually Assaulted Me

I remember watching Tippi Hedren's profile on Biography on A&E where she spoke of Hitchcock's obsession with her and in the episode, she talked about how he made life very difficult for her when she was filming The Birds so unfortunately it now comes as no suprise to hear her talk about being sexually assaulted, although in the Biography episode I got the notion that it was more mental cruelty built on obsession of a woman he could not have but I guess Hitchcock's transgression went to the physical realm.

Very disturbing!

That secret door sounds like something that would be in a soap opera!

What do you all think? Does this change your perception of Hitchcock's films? Or how he employed his craft?

And wasn't a huge part of the reason Hitch was so obsessed with her because Grace Kelly had gone to Monaco, and he wanted someone to mold in her image?

How sad. :(
