Members Matt Posted February 25, 2006 Members Share Posted February 25, 2006 Well, as spring is approaching, I've been considering picking up inline skating as an outdoor activity for exercise and fun. I hate running and biking has never interested me, but inline skating looks fun and low impact. However, I've never been on a pair of blades in my entire life and haven't even been on roller skates in well over 15 years. Actually, I've only been on skates once in my life. Oddly, I never had the least bit of trouble standing up in them and within minutes, I was zipping around the rink like I'd been doing it forever. Anyway, I'm just totally baffled and floored by the gaggle of different kinds of blades available for purchase. I'm looking to spend roughly between $100 - $150 for a good, quality pair (hopefully priced on the lower end of that range), but I'd love to find a good pair on sale.
