Oh toups, my favorite time of year. I've been NBC's biggest critic, but I've been impressed with their performance so far. ABC and CBS used to rule Mondays, now NBC is in clear first place on this night. The Blacklist is JUST the type of "CBS-like" drama I've been saying NBC needed and BAM, they deilver a great product with great ratings. I have to shake my head at my CBS, I said last year it was a terrible mistake moivng 2.5 Men to Thursday. They struggled last year and now this year Monday's are in third, going to be even worse when the awful We Are Men premeres and once HIMYM leaves next season, they'll be in really deep trouble. 2 Broke Girls continue to prove it's not strong enough to be an anchor show and that's what hurts their entire night. Only fix I see is doing HIMYM, 2 Broke Girls, Mom, then Mike & Molly.

Tuesday's another good night for NBC. While I didn't think Chicago Fire needed the post Voice Slot, as it was doing fine on Wednesdays, it seems to have paid off. It won't ever be a huge hit, but it'll be a solid utility player for them and those are just as important sometimes.

Great start for SHIELD. I think the ABC's comedies are going to drop and be in trouble though. And 10pm, yeah, let's not even mention it. lol

Fox, boy are they in some trouble on Tuesday's. Their Tuesday's are looking just as bad as NBC's Thursdays. New Girl was pulling high 3s and some 4s in the demo not long ago, now it's barely in the 2s.

Let's hope The Blacklist won't drop like Revolution did last year.

Yeah, CBS-Monday will be in big trouble next year. They need to find a replacement for HIMYM - I hope it's Friends With Better Lives which is an ensemble/friends comedy.

Lucky 7 is DOA lol

I watch 3/4 of FOX-Tuesdays lineup. sad.png

Solid Wednesday for ABC, though that's a steep drop in the demo's for MF, going from a 5 last year in it's premere to a 4 this year. Good thing it's now in syndication, should get at least a little bounce from that as time goes on.

Impressive opener for SVU, especially since it's 15 years old. Still has some life in it.

CBS, still doing decent on this night, but all three of these shows are old. CBS needs to revamp this night a bit, before the other 3 nets take advantage and find some hit shows to place on this night (besides Modern Family).

Yeah Toups, I blame Fox's Tuesday performance partially on ABC and NBC's decision last year to air comedies on this night. All it did was sabotage each other and really took the wind out of Fox's sails.

    • I realize I harp on this, but I think he spending is relevant.  She's not just buying new wigs. She's building a mansion, she's funding a sports complex, she's paying for operations for people she doesn't know, she's caring for Peaches, she's buying apartments. We saw ?her get ONE check for ONE million dollars. That's it. I may be wrong, but I thought they said she'd get a payment every 6 months. Regardless, she could not rule the roost on $1M, and the show is not doing a good job there. Pretending that doesn't matter? I can't do that.  All they had to do was add a couple lines about payouts and payments.  In other news, I would love to know just how much Anita was putting into that trust as well as what investment got her what has to be an incredible return.

    • I'm honestly surprised Nikki and Victor have not divorced yet... maybe their brief opening of the marriage did something for them.

    • It reminded me of what the Pollocks got away with all the time on THE DOCTORS: long ass flashbacks that don't really add anything to the scene except time.  Because, if you remove the flashback, what's left?  Monica finishes packing Alan's suitcase.  The end. Oh, well.  At least I got to see a young Patricia Elliott (ex-Renee, OLTL) in that Aim toothpaste commercial (not to mention, a shirtless James O'Sullivan (ex-Jeff, AMC; ex-Pete, OLTL; ex-Jerry, SOMERSET) in the commercial for One-a-Day vitamins, lol).
    • Well, I can't help but think it would've been written different with CB still there
    • I could've sworn FV let other people direct either here or at OLTL. I may be wrong. IIRC Kimberly is now very active directing multi-cam/sitcom work. I'd forgotten she even did Netflix's One Day at a Time.
    • IIRC MVJ said the million was just the first piece of what Leslie got or was already owed, something they did make explicit in dialogue but not too explicit. Still, I am past worrying about it. I do think they want 30-yo elder millennial Peaches in her Sophia Petrillo wig to be a point of pathos for Leslie. In theory I am fine with that, and don't dislike Peaches despite the jarring physical disconnect and need for a recast lol. But I do think they do a lot of B&B-style whizzing from Point A to Point C with Leslie on this kind of stuff - in one scene she is raising hell, in the next she is weeping over Peaches. There's very little transition to that sometimes that allows for the nuance, and that can be done much better and they can go much deeper with Leslie (and most characters). The newer/younger audience for the show may have less issue with this kind of quick change than we do.

Thank you.   That was part of my reasoning as well. I think about the days of Kevin, Joey, and Jessica on OLTL or Lucky/Liz/Nik/Sarah/Emily on GH or the Last Blast Kids on DAYS or the Glow by Jabot kids, and it takes me back. Sure I started soaps due to the older cast with their divas, but I do like to see people around my age back then, too. Great memories.   So I love a good relatable teen tale. Bullying. Hormones for the Bad Boy. College choices and internal conflict.
    • Thank you for the information.  I did listen to the entire interview with Miss Roux -- way back when it was first released.  But I am unable to recall her mentioning Connie Ford, and don't have time nor effort to listen to the entire thing again, just for one small morsel. So again, thanks for responding.    I do recall Roux sounded extremely fragile and perhaps a bit wounded in the interview. I almost felt guilty for even listening to it.  So perhaps that has some influence on my reluctance to listen to it again.  She seemed troubled, to say the least.
    • Boxer-briefs, huh?   Well...called it on Cane/Giggly Heffa hooking up so not surprised.
    • Do you have Addie’s first air date??
