In this thread, feel free to post a picture of anything that you want to and tell a story about it. Because I have an interest in retail, many of the photos I will share will be of shops.

I have mentioned this before, but my favorite retail prototype is the "Centennial," a style of Early American/Colonial building built by the A&P Supermarkets from roughly 1957-72. (The official unveiling of the Centennial prototype was during A&P's 100th Anniversary in 1959; hence, it's name.) At one time, Centennials were a dime a dozen, but sadly so few remain in operation. Below are five which still are A&P Supermarkets; all photographs were taken by Flickr user "Dan Asnis."
