Members Max Posted August 21, 2012 Members Share Posted August 21, 2012 This news is a few days old, but (for those who are unaware) NBC is slashing Leno's salary and laying off 20 to 25 people. http://www.latimes.c...0,6615498.story http://www.latimes.c...0,3885137.story I was surprised to learn that Leno beats Letterman in the ratings (as I thought the opposite was true ever since Leno returned). It seems that the main reason for these cuts was because the idiots at NBC were still giving The Tonight Show a prime-time budget (like Leno's short-lived 2009 show had), and never trimmed it down until now.
