Members EricMontreal22
I just saw the documentary Inside Lara Roxx about the porn star who contacted HIV the other year--it's a fascinating and worthwhile watch. But they had one segment about her appearance on Maury Povich which they filmed behind the scenes secretly where she was given a script of key "sexy" words to discuss, a full script, asked her to say she got into porn underaged (she didn't), and a good chunk of what she thought she was going on to say was completely edited out. He also comes off as a completely out of it weirdo. It made me regret ever watching his show... I've always seen it as sorta a semi staged baby daddy nightmare, but... Isn't this the husband of Connie Chung? The woman who likes to claim to do legit news? I can see why MoPo tried (without success) to have the docu pulled from distribution. The actual film is actually pretty honest about the porn industry and not all negative, it's worth watching.
Members jimmyk311
All you have to do is look at vh-1 behind-the-scene documentary of The Springer Hustle to know that most daytime talk shows are half-real and half-fake, but I don't really care about how fake or real a show is just as long as the show is not out right bias and good. Which is why I'm PO'ed about the current state of tabiold talk shows; it's too anti-male, anti-family with talk hosts who are male feminists and female feminists who throw their douchebaggery views on viewers and on the guest. The fun factor of those shows from the 80's and the 90's are long gone. Court shows have the same bias issues as well which is annoying as hell. I can deal with Maury because he isn't putting the spotlight or views on himself (I can't say the same about Kyle, Wilkos, Springer, Dr. Phil and so on) but the guests instead which is what most court and talk shows are missing these days. Members EricMontreal22
I actually agree with all of that. I suppose when I enjoy trash talk shows (and I have in my life) it's when I don't feel dirty for enjoying it after. Something like with Lara's situation she really shouldn't have gone on Maury--her publicist who she since left was pretty bad (what I find odd is that Maury even had here on his show--I thought he had changed over to the "All Who's Your Daddy episodes every day!"
