I think this article may have been rewritten to reflect the cancellation of 'Another Life.' A lot of this information seems to reflect the summer of 1984. In the July 1984 episode of 'The Catlins,' the horse breeding storyline was already in progress. Maura Swanson and Robin Grunder were listed as headwriters in this episode, but Hilary Sares (?) was listed as the headwriter in the Thanksgivign 1984 episode from WoST. By November, Julie Ridley was out at 'The Catlins,' but she was heavily featured in the July 1984 episode.

Also, they are all talking about how 'The Catlins' had just been renewed. The original episode order was for a year's worth of episodes so the renewal would have been back in March / April.

In terms of 'Rituals,' it sounds like it was written before the premier based on Gene Palumbo's comments.

'Catlins' production schedule seems insane, but I think 'New Day in Eden' was similar filming two half-hour installments at a time. Urich's comment about being 'too racy' was humorous.
