Oh, he referred to her as a hooker? You're right. That's not the same as calling a woman a whore. True, a whore and a hooker are both names designated for woman who offer their bodies in exchange for something...

No, he was referring to the time that Amanda "dressed up" in some military garb and they did a little role playing and asked if this time she was "dressing up" for JR like a hooker. The comments were still very rude and out of line, but I see the difference even if you don't.

Here's the difference -- and as snotty as this sounds, I really wish people would actually WATCH the show instead of salivating over their favorite actor/couple

You are right, it is snotty. I started watching AMC in February of 2008 and I have watched every second of every episode since then. I am sorry that I don't have the many years of viewership that you do, but I am basing my opinion on what I have seen on screen since I started watching, and in that time frame David is a hypocrite, and that is coming from someone who is no fan of JR. But as I said it is only my opinion.

^^No - you must have missed an episode, but I remember him calling her bad names at ConFusion when she was with JR - and then JR punched him out for it.

Same episode, same scene. And yes, JR punched him, but not out. And he deserved it.
