2008 Episode Rankings Notes: James Scott (EJ) led the 2008 episode rankings. It was his first time to lead "Days" in episode appearances, having finished second in 2007. Drake Hogestyn (John) was on the list for a record 22nd time. Since joining the show in 1986, Hogestyn has been on the list for all but one year (2007). Shawn Christian (Daniel), a "Days" rookie who joined the cast in March, made the list in 15th place. Darin Brooks (Max) and Shelley Hennig (Stephanie) made it into the top 10 for the first time ever, with their previous highest ranking in 2007 (tied for 15th). "Days" veterans Kristian Alfonso (Hope), Deidre Hall (Marlena) and Peter Reckell (Bo) each made the list for the 19th time (since records began being kept in 1983). Hall may have also made the list from 1977-1982, which could make this her 25th time overall on the top 15 list. With Dee & Drake leaving in a few weeks, I decided to see where they ranked overall in episode appearances. I thought Frances Reid, Macdonald Carey, Susan & Bill Hayes might beat them, but to my surprise, none of them are even close. Only Frances is anywhere near close to Dee & Drake, the all-time leaders of "Days."

With some estimation done of the "uncharted years" of 1965-1982 (estimating 100-150 episodes per year based on the actor's usual totals), here's a look at the most likely all-time "Top 12" of "Days of Our Lives" Episode Rankings.
