GH: MonaVie behind the scenes

Ok came across this and I'm both laughing and kind of disgusted at the same point. First one is just funny, but now that they are hawking designer MonaVie, it's just tacky. Apparently involving your fans in a scheme like this isn't enough they feel it necessary to take even more money from fans.

Unless these videos end with the guys running a train on Bradford Anderson's ass I am not buying Monavie.

From Nelson's Suds report ( I may not agree with a lot of what he does, but I am glad to see someone shine light on this crap. And with that photographer being Jim Warren, you KNOW we're going to see those in SID. I LOVE SOOOOOO MUCH that Steve did the "exclusive tour" without permission.

Want more proof the business is imploding? There’s a controversy brewing backstage regarding the miracle Jesus Juice Steve Burton is hawking to GH viewers at fan events. Burton — who recently told Soap Opera Weekly he’s earned over half a million dollars so far this year as an independent distributor — and his co-star Derk Cheetwood (Max) filmed a promotional YouTube video on the ABC set without network permission. The viral video stars a security guard and a wardrobe employee promoting the cult-like benefits of the Monavie culture.

A furious Ingo Rademacher (Jax) reportedly emailed a letter to the entire GH cast urging them not to participate in this shady and dodgy pyramid scheme because it is beginning to make the show look greedy. Later, I’m told Burton and Rademacher exchanged tense words on set regarding the email. But then Rademacher had to depart for his five-month paid vacation.

When The Suds Report called GH to ask if ABC was unofficially endorsing the product because ABC's creative and physical property were featured in Burton’s video, a rep said he wasn’t aware of the YouTube promo.

So what’s the big fuss over this miracle juice? Monavie is described as a wellness elixir, which contains a blend of 19 body-beneficial fruits – including the Brazilian acai berry, one of nature’s top super-foods. “He’s exploiting his fan base, who probably can’t even afford to pay their rent. In exchange, Burton [interfaces] with his fans for their patronage,” gripes one of his co-stars.

Someone should upload the clips of this "juice" making in ON SCREEN on GH. It was pathetic.

I'm glad Ingo said something! Go Ingo!

IA! Ingo, has gained my respect!

Exactly. In the "Mob mentality" that exists behind the scenes at GH, I'm glad to see SOMEONE finally speak out against this crud.

There is a website that I think had the clip with Spin talking about the Brazillian berry and 19 other berries as he brings it in to a sick Jason. I want to say it is purplehorror.com, but I am not sure. I know that site people talk about the good and the bad about the Jesus Juice.
