Well, if we're mentioning Flannery's boredom...there may also be disenfranchisement.

SHE was the one who spearheaded the SAG union flap a few weeks ago. In her public quotes on the matter, she said that she thought benefits, residual payments, etc. were not what they should be. So we can't rule out that--improbable as it may seem--that she is a disgruntled employee who feels she is undervalued at some level.

(Honestly, I think she's fighting more for the younger generation than for herself, but still, her public union action suggests that at some level she is dissatisfied.)

Those are only recent developments. She's been bored for a while now...

Anyway, I think she is just trying to use her reputation to fight for the younger actors. Just that.
