I hope this is sufficiently soap-opera themed.

In the 4/22 Soap Opera Digest, the ad (below) appeared. Notice the similarity in cover format to SOD.

Also, if you look VERY closely at the bottom, you'll see a tiny SOD logo.

But this "Pixie" is clearly more Tiger Beat or even Disney Magazine than SOD.

I always question my intelligence, I must confess, when I buy SOD. I love the genre, and SOD remains a leader in reporting on it...but all the hair and makeup and plain silly fillers make a guy in his 40s feel...well....embarrassed.

But NOW, to be equated with this "Pixie" magazine for young girls....is this the future of SOD? I feel my IQ dropping by the second.

It's probably a magazine that their parent company is launching.

its prob just a magazine from the same co and they are using the sod logo to back it. they have done it in the past. it could also be a special edition magazine.

it could. there are a lot of companys out there that ut out random issues of magazines.
