Hey, newish viewer but I'm wondering if Lillian and Buzz have been paired before this...

and if not, WHY??! These two are great, and both are underused, so maybe this is a good chance for them to be on-screen more.

No, they have not been paired before

As to why they haven't been paired before the writers probably didn't care enough about Lillian's character to find her a man.

Lillian's never been with Buzz before.

In the mid to late 80s, the show toyed with pairing her up with a few characters, including Reva's dad, but I think since the whole Ed Bauer/affair thing they thought best to keep her single. IMO a huge mistake.
