I'm going to make tomato soup and grilled cheese. Something simple. Feeling to "blech" to put the effort in for anything else.

there are only three things i can make...

mac & cheese. and my mac and cheese is AMAZING.

mixed drinks... and i never can make the same drink twice cuz i just pour stir and drink...

and some apple thing i got from a days cookbook by Dee Hall. Once i also made Suzanne Rogers orange chicken thing, that was good.

Tonight I am making chicken with stuffing and mashed potato, and cream of chicken soup as gravy. It's comfort food

tonight i went to this place thats called Wings N Things. Its amazing. I got chicken strips in fire sauce. and they have the best bread sticks in the world.

If anyone has heard of the Elephant Bar, I am going there tonight and cannot wait.

As for me, I tend to cook french toast for breakfast when I am in that mood but nothing else...but I guess I am an alright cook

i went and made these things called Dream Dinners. its so tight. you make a weeks worth of dinner and then just freeze them and make them on whatever night.

The tart turned out really good. I highly recommend it.

I'll have try it. Not tonight though. Maybe next weekend when I have a bit of time.

Earlier today I made brownies from the recipe on the cocoa tin, the unfrosted kind; almost our whole butter regime for a year. I've had to hide them... and sample them of course, to see if the recipe turned out, you know. Nice with a little French Vanilla ice cream on top.

For supper we're having Boeuf Bourgignon with egg noodles, ...again; and a simple salad green salad with blanched leek and an oil & vinegar & dijon dressing. Good cold weather food that reheats well as leftovers (except the noodles and salad). I threw a parsnip and some turnip in the Boeuf this time and that, coupled with the wine, the bay leaves ,the onions , the other herbs, is making me salivate like one of Pavlov's dogs. The fragrance is everywhere. Can't wait for partner-man to get home I can pull out the salmon mousse and some rice crackers.. and cocktails!

for thanxgiving we are deep frying a turkey.

All kidding aside, I hear deep fried turkey tastes great. If you have any tips, let us know. I'd love to try it.
