Let's compare Co- Hw's VS. Co- Hw's

There are types of Co. Hw's. There are Co's like like Brown and Esensten, and then there are Co heads like Kreizman and swajeski. with Kreizman and swajeski, she is co head writer UNDER Kreizman. He is the head writer of GL. Yes, this will be turned into something OLTL related. Ron C. was Co UNDER Dena. He was not her equal. It was not 50/50. Some people need to understand that. He was only put in that spot because Dena was getting canned, and a breakdown writer to head writer doesn't look so good. And Ron was Co head since Feb, but his work began in MAY!

It was the network who tried to say that Ron C. was the writer "under" Dena when it was quite obvious that she was on her way out. If you are promoted "under" then you're not really an equal. Think about it, with GH there was Guza & Pratt and with AMC it's Brown & Essensten. However on DAYS, Hogan Sheffer is given the "head writer" credit, even though he has a co-head writer in Meg Kelly. Jean Passasante (sp?) has two co-heads under her right now.

You know who's on equal footing (or lack of) by how they're referred by in the magazines.

Carlivati was a bad co-head writer. The last 4 months of Higley was sole HW were better than the 4 months of RC co-head writing. Carlivati is slightly better as a HW, than a co-HW. Does anyone personally Carlivati? If so, I'd like to know how strong he is- mentally speaking- because HW a 5 ep per week series is a very demanding job. Now that Anna Cascio is returning to OLTL, I hope she's promoted to head write alongside Ron very quickly. Also, have Carolyn Culliton as their co-HW. Cascio's input on AMC was very good, but she was unjustly fired.

Passanante's co-HW, Laiman & Whitesell, are/were just as awful as her. If they love Jean so much & don't wanna can her, have Susan Dansby or Richard Culliton write the show with her.

If Esensten & Brown remain, they need another writer to head write with them. That should be Karen Lewis.

If Robert Guza Jr. remains on GH, he desperately needs another writer to head write with him.

How do people feel about Natalie Minardi Slater being promoted to co-HW on Y&R? She's been on the show since 1998.

If Bradley Bell won't step down as HW, Patrick Mulcahey or Jim Houghton should be writing the show with him.

Swajeski has had her chance to co-HW GL with Kreizman, now get someone else.

Meg Kelly isn't cut out to be a co-HW, get someone else like Anne M. Schoettle.

The third man is Howie Hofstetter, Bo's friend who helped Hope get out of marrying Larry Welch. I'm holding out for a hero… I'll let someone else tell you who the other two are, because it will blow your mind. Poor Bo & Hope had a free destination wedding in England, at a castle, and only the "B" team of Salem was available to attend! Also, (to paraphrase an old song) tonight we're celebratin' the love of Hope's scullcap at her English wedding.  A lot has happened in between. But, it was still an amazing headpiece. That deserves recognition for not only how long KA kept it pinned to her head, but then she loved it so, she wore it at her real wedding.
    • Watch it still be more of a classic than what B&B and Y&R would show.
    • It's a repeat. Not sure of the episode # just yet.
    • Aw, I care about Melissa. Hope's OG bff, and I'm talking before the SORAS. #neverforget I think the polite thing to do is just a simple Happy Anniversary, plus heartfelt message, without the mention of specific years. Did Melissa ever interact with Billie or Carly? I'm guessing fake Melissa did with the latter before she left? That picture made me realize I've never really thought about how it was pre-Steve and John existing. And no Roman, or Kayla, or Doug and Julie. Who was Bo's best man? And who are the three people next to him in that picture?
    • Lol.  No one cares about Melissa.  She's a non factor. I do side eye the Billie/Carly years and the multiple divorces, but I still consider John/Marlena's 1986 marriage to be their real marriage even though it's not, so I'll let the whole thing slide with Bo/Hope.  Kristian looks great so when you hear 40 years of marriage you think she was like 11 when she got married.

Here's the question, let's say you're Melissa, -- Would you be forgiven for not posting about Bo & Hope's anniversary today on social media because you didn't include the number of years that either of them were assumed dead in the last 40 years? Is it rude to Billie and Carly, if the Brady's ignore the time Bo was with them?
    • I am no Bo/Hope fan girl, but I think the ages were about 18/22.  It was more Doug finding Hope in a comprising position with Bo that gave him a heart attack lol.
    • Never forget, as we celebrate the 40th anniversary of Bo and Hope, that their age gap was so wide it gave OG Doug a heart attack.
    • Doug can legally order drinks and has since he arrived so I assume he's like 22 or 23.  A little too old to be creeping on Holly, but they are all graduating or graduated (Ari) so it's not the worst.
    • I just think with high schoolers, you have to establish the age of their romantic interest.  Otherwise, it can get really creepy.  If Doug was 19-20, I would've enjoyed his poetry/books discussion with Holly because on paper, it was actually pretty good.
