I must qualify the list.

I am referring to characters being killed off when the actor leaves or is written off,rather than stories where the character is presumed dead but remains on the show and we viewers know they are still living.

e.g Victor Y&R when he was car jacked and met Hope.

If you can think of others please add them and then I'll present the definitive list.

I still LOL everytime I think about that line.

I do too. I certainly appreciate lines like that that embrace the idiocy of the back from the dead convention a lot more than melodramatic scenes like when we see Lazarus himself, Jack Devereaux, rise from the dead and wander back into town for the umpteenth time.
