Members Ponz
The mark of a truly great SW is not needing to see the credits to know that they wrote the episode. Those familiar with Patrick Mulcahey's work will know what I mean. In SLG's case, I could guess with about 90% accuracy which episodes were hers. She had a knack for making even the most insipid, plot-driven scenes seem *real*. There's no one on the current DAYS team that fits this criterion. Bradbury & Ford seem to be the best of the bunch but they aren't amazing. Cohen, Kelley, Scholz (who Hogan apparently adores) & Donato are consistently mediocre. While the dialogue is snappier & less repetitive than under JER, it's often lacking in emotional substance. And the history references sound like they come straight from Google rather than being naturally woven into the conversations. ETA: I just read on Jason's page that Ford is out. Members billyjill
Oh I agree about SLG. I was just trying to say that any improvement people see in scripts is not because the team Hogan brought in is so much better at dialog. JMO.
