The flowers have been ordered, even with snow in the air and preparations are being made for planting flowers in the Brodheadsville, Routes 115/209 triangle.

Local golfers are encouraged to contact Lion Dean Green at 570 977-1724 or Lion Bill Reinhart at 570 992-5015 to make arrangements to play in the club's June 20 golf tournament at Mountain Manor with the follow-up dinner at Stroudsmoor Country Inn, Stroudsburg.

Club member, Lion Larry Hall, will be appearing on the "One Life to Live" afternoon soap opera at 2 p.m. today.

The club's next meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, at the Luna Rossa Cafe, Route 209, Gilbert. The program for the evening will be a wrap up of the just completed district convention. Anyone interested in attending the meeting or becoming a Lion may contact Lion Bob Argot at 570 629-5718.
