Members WillenFan21
With the version 6.0 AIM you get your own phone number, and I was just wondering if you had to pay to make outgoing calls in the US? Thanks for the help.
Members SoapQueen89
Yes you do. It's $14.95 per month for unlimited calls to anywhere in the world. You can get the free service but you can't make outgoing calls, you only can receive incoming calls.
Members WillenFan21
Thanks Jen. I wasn't sure if you had to do that. I was using Skype becuase they had this promotion thing going on but it ended so now I can't use it unless I pay lol.
Members SoapQueen89
Yeah for me it's going to save me lots of money on my phone bill. I don't call anyone who is local except for my parents. I make a lot of calls out of state. And it is a majority of my home phone bill. So signing up with the AOL service will help me out considerably.
