With the version 6.0 AIM you get your own phone number, and I was just wondering if you had to pay to make outgoing calls in the US?

Thanks for the help.

Yes you do. It's $14.95 per month for unlimited calls to anywhere in the world.

You can get the free service but you can't make outgoing calls, you only can receive incoming calls.

Thanks Jen. I wasn't sure if you had to do that. I was using Skype becuase they had this promotion thing going on but it ended so now I can't use it unless I pay lol.

Yeah for me it's going to save me lots of money on my phone bill. I don't call anyone who is local except for my parents. I make a lot of calls out of state. And it is a majority of my home phone bill. So signing up with the AOL service will help me out considerably.

I have it. and thanks to Jen, I think I may have corrected my problem LOL....

Since all my family is in New York and I won't drop any calls via Cingular, this will be good for me...
