Tarzan's Strickland and Mary Poppins' Brown Join ABC Daytime BC/EFA Benefit

Josh Strickland and Ashley Brown - who play the title roles in, respectively, Tarzan and Mary Poppins - are the latest additions to the star-studded list of artists who will take part in the third annual ABC Daytime Salutes Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS benefit concert Feb. 25, 2007, at Town Hall.

In addition to Strickland and Brown, the 7:30 PM concert will feature stars from such ABC-TV daytime programs as "The View," "All My Children," "One Life to Live" and "General Hospital."

Joy Behar will kick off the event with a special comedy performance. Cameron Mathison will host the evening, which will boast the talents of Jeff Branson, Justin Bruening, Jeffrey Carlson, Melissa Claire Egan, Bobbie Eakes, Alexa Havins, Cady McClain, Sydney Penny, Eden Riegel, Aiden Turner, Walt Willey, Jacob Young, Kristen Alderson, Kathy Brier, Kassie DePaiva, Kamar de los Reyes, Renee Elise Goldsberry, Catherine Hickland, Erika Slezak, Trevor St. John, Jason Thompson, Kimberly McCullough and Scott Cliffton.

The one-night-only event will also feature "Casting Call," an interactive component where audiences members will have the chance to make their TV debut on the set of "All My Children" or "One Life to Live."

Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS is the nation's largest industry-based, nonprofit AIDS fundraising and grant-making organization. Since its founding in 1988 the organization has distributed over $100 million for services for people with AIDS, HIV or HIV-related illnesses.
