  1. She also said and I quote: " I had one of the first polaroid cameras"... in 1982, yet Polaroids had been around since the 50's. She also says "And my pajama bottoms were off and the top was opened".... what was she doing in Cosby's hotel room in Pajamas? A slumber party? And everyone knows you do not mix alcohol and medication, no matter what it is, even then people knew... After all, Blanche's Husband drowned in his chicken soup on Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman from just such activity, an entire episode of "Maude" was built around her going loopy after mixing pills and liquor. Your opinion mirrors the vast majority of people I've talked to, they believe the accusations, but not Janice Dickinson.
  2. At that time, if a woman took something for cramps, it was Midol or Pamprin. Advil didn't exist, and while both Tylenol and Midol contain the same active ingredient, Midol and Pamprin contained other ingredients as well that tylenol didn't. But back then, people didn't really KNOW the active ingredients in OTC medications, by and large. you took Midol or Pamprin for cramps, Tylenol for headache or fever, aspirin for headache and Excedrin for migraines, Bufferin if you had stomach issues. Some people preferred Anacin, which was aspirin and caffiene together, but mot people didn't know a bayer and a coke = an Anacin.
  3. Yes, it was the 70's... but many of these women were so desperate and thirsty to be around fame, they'd have submitted to golden showers if it would have gotten them a TV role.
  4. This is totally correct, IMO.
  5. Your'e easily convinced by bad acting, aren't you? Of course she was embarrassed, her entire life is an embarrassment. From jacking a title that don't belong to her, to calling a mentally challenged person a "retard" to their face, to falling down a flight of stairs in a drunken stupor. I find, from gleaning opnions from a myriad of different sources, by and large, people DO believe these women accusing Cosby. They just don't believe HER.
  6. I think his body of work deserves respect, even if he doesn't.
  7. Just why is someone's professional accomplishments required to be tied to their reputation in their personal lives?
  8. I don't think it's dissmissive, she's suspicious of the women in THIS case. http://radio.com/2014/12/01/jill-scott-bill-cosby-not-charged-no-proof/ You know, it's totally conceiveable that Cosby liked to screw groupies and run a casting couch. and when things didn't go how they wanted for these thirsty women, either getting parts, or notoriety, or whatever... then they come back on Cosby like this to get their 15 minutes of fame. Just a thought.
  9. I doubt this will be the end of Cosby. Keep in mind, Jimmy Page has the OBE, and he had a sexual relationship with a 14 year old girl. . Dr. Dre beat the hell out of TV host Dee Barnes, Sean Penn tied Madonna to a chair and beat the hell out of her,
  10. Wendy has in interesting story about Cosby chewing her a new one 24 years ago, the segment starts at 8:50.
  11. Hes doesn't strike me as the type who gives a crap what people think of him. He's certainly got enough money to give the whole world the finger... I predict that will happen. OR.... he may just keep doing his stand up gigs, he performed to a sold out crowd just last night, if you entertain, many people don't care what you do in your personal life, as long as it isn't murder. A healthy percentage will see the women as being so stupid for taking anonymous pills given to them by a man that they deserved it. If it were violent, forcible rape, or if he drugged the women secretly without their knowledge, then the attitudes may be different. But the public has a VERY short memory. We'll see what happens. I got the popcorn out.
  12. From the article, I gather that Scotti just figured he was screwing all these groupies. It doens't say anyhting about him being aware of him offering them drugs.... one would think he would have blown the whistle if he knew what was happening wasn't consensual, but you never know. What a pile of twisted fan blades, covered in sh!t this is turning out to be.
  13. W The dam has BROKEN, and man.. how cold to treat him like that when the man told him he was RETIRING, not quitting acromniously. I'm actually beginning to wonder if the entertainment industry is the dumping ground for every sociopath in the country.
  14. Absolutely! I just saw a story on our local news, apparently his gig in Florida tonight was sold out, and he came out to a standing ovation. This will probably stem any further cancellations of shows he has booked. Let's face it, venues don't really care about scandal as long as they bring in the money. In this country, at least.. money trumps everything.
  15. Does he talk like that in real life? He sounds like he hasn't even passed the 2nd grade.
  16. Well, you know, they always talk about there being a fine line between genius and madness.
  17. Well, I responding to Daytimefan... I'm so sorry that my pattern of discussion doesn't meet with your approval. Please instruct me on how and what to post in each part of this thread, and I will obey your every command. I didn't mean to offend royalty.
  18. And you see, those kind of barbaric comments sicken me. If some male celebrity had come out and stated that Mary Kay Latourneau's breasts should be chopped off, could you imagine the reaction? But I suppose the biggest blow to her credibiity is when she says she's the world's first supermodel, what does that say? It says that she's likes to EXAGGERATE. And that right there shoots crediblity right out of the water. If you want credibility in your life, don't pull that kind of crap. Then people will BELIEVE you when it really matters.
  19. Well, don't feel the need to leave the thread. We're all adults here, sharing our opinions. I just always want to see both sides before making a judgement, I simply refuse to subscribe to the prevailing attitude on this board that women are somehow incapable of leveling false rape allegations.
  20. He's obviously doing the "I won't dignify that with a response" route.
  21. It's a delusional opinion, because we all know that title belongs to Twiggy. When Janice gets on a reality show and says she's going to take a dump on someone's pillow, when she tells skinny models they are fat, youv'e got to accept that people aren't going to think highly of her. And for me, I will never trust a drug addict. Simple as that. The main reason I feel she's dishonest about the "supermodel" thing, is that not ONE person I know who was alive in the 70's (Myself included) ever heard of her. Not family, friends, co-workers... but you can bet EVERY single one of these same people knew who Cheryl Tiegs was.
  22. I agree he needs a better PR firm, but he's so old and rich, he just may not give a crap. Many people subscribe to the "stay quiet and let it blow over" philosophy. I'm convinced that what we're seeing is him being given the benefit of the doubt because of his public image, but that is quickly wearing thin. That's what I certainly did. That's why I didn't believe Janice Dickinson, that's why people thought Michael Jackson molested those boys, it was easy to believe because he was such a circus freak.
  23. I wonder why this sh!t sticks to TV personalities, and not music artists. I mean, we don't see oldies radio stations pulling the Mamas and the Papas and the Ronettes off their playlists. Chuck Berry was sued by several women because he installed hidden cameras in the ladies bathroom of a restaurant he owned, and James Brown was arrested for wife beating MULTIPLE times. I also think stories like this get much more traction today than 20 years ago, because with social media, there's a crapload of people with nothing better to do all day than sit behind their computer and be offended.
  24. I don't. I only view Janice that way. I wanted to reserve judgement until I could see how Cosby reacted when questioned directly. Now that I have, I think he's guilty. I just don't like to make snap judgements. Just what is wrong with wanting to see BOTH sides of the case before rendering a decision?
  25. I'll admit, the pictures are pretty damning. But come on... you can't blame people for not believing her at first, since she's such a hot mess and lies with aplomb. I mean, if Julie Andrews were making these accusations, she would have been believed without a second thought.
