  1. Just why is someone's professional accomplishments required to be tied to their reputation in their personal lives?
  2. I don't think it's dissmissive, she's suspicious of the women in THIS case. http://radio.com/2014/12/01/jill-scott-bill-cosby-not-charged-no-proof/ You know, it's totally conceiveable that Cosby liked to screw groupies and run a casting couch. and when things didn't go how they wanted for these thirsty women, either getting parts, or notoriety, or whatever... then they come back on Cosby like this to get their 15 minutes of fame. Just a thought.
  3. I doubt this will be the end of Cosby. Keep in mind, Jimmy Page has the OBE, and he had a sexual relationship with a 14 year old girl. . Dr. Dre beat the hell out of TV host Dee Barnes, Sean Penn tied Madonna to a chair and beat the hell out of her,
  4. Wendy has in interesting story about Cosby chewing her a new one 24 years ago, the segment starts at 8:50.
  5. Hes doesn't strike me as the type who gives a crap what people think of him. He's certainly got enough money to give the whole world the finger... I predict that will happen. OR.... he may just keep doing his stand up gigs, he performed to a sold out crowd just last night, if you entertain, many people don't care what you do in your personal life, as long as it isn't murder. A healthy percentage will see the women as being so stupid for taking anonymous pills given to them by a man that they deserved it. If it were violent, forcible rape, or if he drugged the women secretly without their knowledge, then the attitudes may be different. But the public has a VERY short memory. We'll see what happens. I got the popcorn out.
  6. From the article, I gather that Scotti just figured he was screwing all these groupies. It doens't say anyhting about him being aware of him offering them drugs.... one would think he would have blown the whistle if he knew what was happening wasn't consensual, but you never know. What a pile of twisted fan blades, covered in sh!t this is turning out to be.
  7. W The dam has BROKEN, and man.. how cold to treat him like that when the man told him he was RETIRING, not quitting acromniously. I'm actually beginning to wonder if the entertainment industry is the dumping ground for every sociopath in the country.
  8. Absolutely! I just saw a story on our local news, apparently his gig in Florida tonight was sold out, and he came out to a standing ovation. This will probably stem any further cancellations of shows he has booked. Let's face it, venues don't really care about scandal as long as they bring in the money. In this country, at least.. money trumps everything.
  9. Does he talk like that in real life? He sounds like he hasn't even passed the 2nd grade.
  10. Well, you know, they always talk about there being a fine line between genius and madness.
  11. Well, I responding to Daytimefan... I'm so sorry that my pattern of discussion doesn't meet with your approval. Please instruct me on how and what to post in each part of this thread, and I will obey your every command. I didn't mean to offend royalty.
  12. And you see, those kind of barbaric comments sicken me. If some male celebrity had come out and stated that Mary Kay Latourneau's breasts should be chopped off, could you imagine the reaction? But I suppose the biggest blow to her credibiity is when she says she's the world's first supermodel, what does that say? It says that she's likes to EXAGGERATE. And that right there shoots crediblity right out of the water. If you want credibility in your life, don't pull that kind of crap. Then people will BELIEVE you when it really matters.
  13. Well, don't feel the need to leave the thread. We're all adults here, sharing our opinions. I just always want to see both sides before making a judgement, I simply refuse to subscribe to the prevailing attitude on this board that women are somehow incapable of leveling false rape allegations.
  14. He's obviously doing the "I won't dignify that with a response" route.
  15. It's a delusional opinion, because we all know that title belongs to Twiggy. When Janice gets on a reality show and says she's going to take a dump on someone's pillow, when she tells skinny models they are fat, youv'e got to accept that people aren't going to think highly of her. And for me, I will never trust a drug addict. Simple as that. The main reason I feel she's dishonest about the "supermodel" thing, is that not ONE person I know who was alive in the 70's (Myself included) ever heard of her. Not family, friends, co-workers... but you can bet EVERY single one of these same people knew who Cheryl Tiegs was.
  16. I agree he needs a better PR firm, but he's so old and rich, he just may not give a crap. Many people subscribe to the "stay quiet and let it blow over" philosophy. I'm convinced that what we're seeing is him being given the benefit of the doubt because of his public image, but that is quickly wearing thin. That's what I certainly did. That's why I didn't believe Janice Dickinson, that's why people thought Michael Jackson molested those boys, it was easy to believe because he was such a circus freak.
  17. I wonder why this sh!t sticks to TV personalities, and not music artists. I mean, we don't see oldies radio stations pulling the Mamas and the Papas and the Ronettes off their playlists. Chuck Berry was sued by several women because he installed hidden cameras in the ladies bathroom of a restaurant he owned, and James Brown was arrested for wife beating MULTIPLE times. I also think stories like this get much more traction today than 20 years ago, because with social media, there's a crapload of people with nothing better to do all day than sit behind their computer and be offended.
  18. I don't. I only view Janice that way. I wanted to reserve judgement until I could see how Cosby reacted when questioned directly. Now that I have, I think he's guilty. I just don't like to make snap judgements. Just what is wrong with wanting to see BOTH sides of the case before rendering a decision?
  19. I'll admit, the pictures are pretty damning. But come on... you can't blame people for not believing her at first, since she's such a hot mess and lies with aplomb. I mean, if Julie Andrews were making these accusations, she would have been believed without a second thought.
  20. She is a full of crap apologist and enabler. But that's ok, she's the bitch that has to live amongst it. Once she gets her throat cut and carjacked, then she might listen to what Bill had to say.... but WAIT! that's right!! She lives in a town of 40,000 people where there is no ghetto. SURE he's a hypocrite, but that doesn't mean what he said was wrong. Look up the stats of fatherless hosueholds in teh black community from 50 years ago, and then the stats from today, and you'll see the difference. People always try to use hypocrisy to negate someone's argument, and it's total bullshit. If an obese person tells you that fast food all the time and a diet laden in ho-ho's, potato chips and candy bars is bad for you, are they incorrect because they are fat and got no room to talk? People find fault with the messenger cause they' don't want to hear the message. And they don't want to hear the message because they want to be an eternal victim, because theyr'e too effin lazy to turn their own life around.
  21. Back then, people ordered them through ads in Penthouse magazine, or got them from whomever they got their other drugs from, I suppose.
  22. Whenever something like this happens, you tend to have ridiculous knee jerk reaction by people who think that a scandal like this erases ANY good thing the person has ever done, and puts them into a category with Adolph Hitler. I don't know if people really are that stupid, that they can't comprehend that a person can be intelligent, brilliant, and do good things, and be good and caring in SOME aspects of their life, while having a dark side, being deeply flawed, and doing bad things as well. Many people for some reason see everything from this "All or nothing" viewpoint. You embrace the good, and Condemn the bad. Pulling his new show in development I understand, and agree with. But taking his old shows off the air serve no purpose, other than denying the rest of the cast their residuals. What is the point? To make sure nothing good he's done will ever see the light of day again? To try and erase him from our history? It's happened, it's THERE. Suck it up and deal with it, take the good with the bad and move on.
  23. She's a much more credible witness, but she was a damn STUPID girl. At this point, I do think he's guilty... but at least she got 5,000 clams and 3 weeks in a penthouse for it, that's more than most. Somebody gives you two white pills, and you just take them? Some may think if you do something THAT dumb, then you deserve what you get. Now if you were given something without your knowledge, a whole nother kettle of fish. But to take the drugs of your own free will? Please. But I personally still can't bring myself to say they deserve it. You gotta have compassion for the dull and ignorant.
  24. To be fair, people do alot of things for alot of different reasons. It's not always about money, sometimes it's about attention and getting your 15 minutes of fame. My former neighbor is certainly testament to that. She got her 15 minutes on Good Morning america by being thrown out of a public pool for wearing too revealing a bikini, and to this day, every day she posts a different facebook picture of her damn cleavage so all these strangers can salivate over it, although she abandoned her family and has been living in her CAR. Money has good points, Qfan does as well... but I want to see both sides asked directly about the situation and THEN make a judgement as to who I think is telling the truth. And now that's happened, I don't really believe Cosby. That AP clip really changed things for me. Qfan... I know you brought up O.J., I have always maintained ignorance of jurors is what caused that verdict, not being able to differentiate between REASONABLE doubt, and the shadow of a doubt. There is a big generational difference in this situation, I am a member of another message board where virtually everyone is over 50... I am one of the YOUNGEST on that board, as opposed to here, where I am one of the oldest. And with only one or tow exceptions, EVERYONE on that board share's Whoopi's opinion on the situation. So nobody go thinking what you see on this board is any kind of true gauge on public opinion.
  25. I was under the impression that it was just the two women making the accusations, the other 10 could very well be triflin' bitches jumping on the bandwagon. So no, that to me does not equate guilt. And it wasn't an illogical tangent, the comedian who started this ball rolling was trying to smear him for his outspoken stance on issues. And so it could very well be these other 10 women might be of that ilk. We'll see how it all pans out. I'm one that likes to see more evidence. And Whoopi was not defending him, she was waiting to pass judgement. Dang, most of the people in this thread should NEVER be on a jury, I can see that loud and clear. For Janice Dicksinson, the upside is she gets ATTENTION, she craves it like a crack head.
