  1. You literally took the words right out of my mouth.
  2. Yeah, I think they call that "Irish twins" when babies are born super close like that.
  3. Scotty, I think Michael was 1980 and Amanda was 1981/2. She definitely was done with babies before 1987 unless Judith temped due to illness.
  4. I don't know if she had a replacement during her other maternity leave or some other illness, but I believe Judith Barcoft was another temp Viki.
  5. Even though we saw how ill he was, his passing was unexpectedly sudden. I loved that they brought him back, but I wasn't a fan of the Jenny being lost in an avalanche thing. I had no idea Brynn turned down the chance to return, that doesn't really make sense to me. The focus would still be on Michael and his wife's involvement would be a wonderful added dimension. Oh well, she was his dear friend so I respect whatever her reasoning was, her heart was surely in the right place.
  6. Of course. Complete with real life before and after pics.
  7. How exactly was Rafe Garretson related to the Bukes?
  8. Did you guys see JVA get skewered on Family Guy tonight?
  9. WTF, who came up with this idea...? And wth is computer chip jewelry? I am so lost...
  10. Ha! These really are great though, the closest we'll get to actually seeing these episodes or reading scripts. If you weren't around to see this stuff first hand, it's like you acquire blurbs of history you've read written the same way time and time again. For instance, the depth of the circumstances surrounding Victor's death day as seen in what you've posted here, we never got all that detailed info anywhere else.
  11. Between this and the AMC thread, I can't keep up with you! Thanks in advance for providing me with some great reading material for my next long train ride. I can read these synopses like a novel.
  12. Yeah, from The Practice and I guess Ally McBeal too, i never watched that show. She also played Ophelia opposite Campbell Scott in a TV movie version of Hamlet with Roscoe Lee Browne as Polonius and fellow AMC alum Roger G. Smith as Laertes. Lisa did a wonderful documentary on the late actress Beah Richards.
  13. LOL! And check out Brooke's linebacker shoulder pads. That's Lisa Gay Hamilton, probably fresh from Juilliard, in those scenes with Hayley and Charlie.
  14. I really enjoyed that interview with Michael Tylo. He isn't someone who I know much about and he shared some great memories. I'm glad that he looks back at his time on AMC so fondly. For whatever reasons, I was sort of expecting the opposite. I thought he and Hunter had gotten back together. He would have been good as Mark Lawson's dad on OLTL.
  15. I do not remember Nancy still being around at that time. Who was that guy with her who offered Angie champagne? Myra always reminds me of the school teacher Ms. Cow from The Neighborhood of Make Believe.
  16. Boy do I know how Cecily feels about the coffee. Olga is so well used here. Oy, but her lady assistant?
  17. Dena Dietrich's Wilma was a lot nastier than the lady we saw in the boutique with Natalie. That lady seemed kind with a touch of scrap, I would like to see more of her to fairly judge. Natalie had died before DD's Wilma came to town. I don't think Wilma was even at Natalie's funeral.
  18. Rachel crossed over to Someset to deal with Gerald, who I believe Pammy lived with. I wish I could remember who shared this to give them credit, but a WoSTer visited P&G's archives in Cincinatti and read Somerset's bible where Pammy was without subtlety described, if not sanctioned, to be a Rachel clone.
  19. Marj has given me two memorable "Aha!" moments. I thought I first knew her from GL, where I was immediately drawn to her. Then I realized she had been Blair's mom from Facts of Life and Carolyn Jones' replacement on Capitol. She's also in an episode of Fresh Prince of Bel Air.
  20. Speaking of Linden, do we know more about Erica losing money and Matt buying it from out under her as seen in that episode Carl posted? Now I understand why he was drunk in the living room in that Christmas greeting to the camera. Also, Linden was all in black and grey at first, as seen in the All About Erica video where Matt is giving Erica a massage and tries to kiss her and she slaps him. I wonder at what point it got all mauve and pink.
  21. That really was a great episode. Wow, I didn't remember it being in August. For some reason I thought school was in session when that all went down. Maybe Fra died when school was still in and that's what I'm thinking of. I haven't seen that episode in years, but I remember them doing a closeup of Erica's hand gripping the railing as she walked down the stairs. I also seem to remember Erica giving her address when she called the paramedics, 212 Lancaster Drive. Dorian's was 202 Lincoln Terrace. The things one remembers...
  22. I used to wonder whose dog that was. I think kids feel the need to rationalize such things. BTW, I always remembered it as a Doberman and clearly it is not. I guess I was thinking on the lines of Palmer and his Dobes.
  23. It sure was, their inaugural season of sitcoms. Down and Out in Beverly Hills starring Hector Elizondo and Anita Morris in the Dreyfus and Midler roles was another one we used to watch.
