Every time I see Kat, I see Keri Hilson. She has her whole face. Dana just walked into Laura's hospital room.

I figured that they would take Kat in this direction with men for the time being. I like those small bits of history from Tomas, but I still have not warmed up to him yet. A Pamela/Vanessa feud could be worth the watch.

The accent is horrible. Today's episode is dry. I feel bad for Derek. Homie said his breathing bothers her lol.

Jacob ain't playing no games with Dana. They could've played mother and son.

I enjoy Eva and Andre so much. They have nice, playful chemistry.

@P.J. Well, it wasn't her first award. I am sure she has written books, and spoken at colleges, and gotten some notoriety from it. Most importantly, she is fulfilled. Something Dani is not. @Paul Raven Exactly, it does not ring true to me. Dani has that big personality because she is masking pain. And she probably clung to Bill because he made her feel smart and important (at one point). There are ways to add more layers to her.

Major flaw! And that's why I said Dani would've been better off an screwed up kid (black sheep). Nicole got an award because she's doing important work. Depression is real, Mental illness is real. People are homeless and committing suicide in jails because they lack proper help. Yes, she modeled, but I mean, even Tyra pivoted into acting, talk shows, her own company, managing other models, etc.

I like Nicole for several reasons, she has all the good attributes and qualities of a good person. You have to be a huge hater to dislike someone like her. I consider Dani an underdog. She had a lot to live up to and she hasn't contributed to the family name imo. Naomi and Martin seem to had more flourishing careers than she has. She might've had a long marriage, but Bill cheated on her left and right. I am sure they had some good times, but I wouldn't call it a great marriage or anything to brag about. She modeled for what 2/3 years? That's not that successful, especially if she didn't pivot to something more lucrative. And that is the real reason she plays momanger cause she is living through Chelsea. Dani is nothing without her family name. Nicole doesn't need the Dupree; she made her own mark! And that's what you should do when you're born with privilege, flip that [!@#$%^&*]! The opportunity is there for the writers to play up her insecurities and resentment issues, but will they? There must've been a reason for her to choose Bill over someone with more status, or coming from another wealthy family. Right? I don't expect everyone to understand her, but I do, and probably would've made her a more screw up and didn't amount to much outside having some kids. The lack of crossover from the in-laws always bothered me, too. I hope at some point we get some family dinners. I know it's not earth-shattering entertainment, but I'm a sucker for those scenes. And you can still move the story along, too! I forgot all about my boo Jacob, and he was on today. He, for some reason, reminds me of Garfield the cat! 🤣😂 You're right about that hetero bio son Dupree, though.

@P.J. No, you are not alone in this. I agree, the writers have overused "I'm a Dupree." I get it, but if they could pace themselves and use the term at more pivotal moments, I believe it would have more impact. Right now, they turn me off. A part of it is that they went the opposite way I felt they should have with the core four, Anita should be our favorite character, and I am sorry she is at the bottom of my list. Why do I care more for Nicole, the daughter who has everything, over Dani, the underdog? Like I said, it's an odd setup that I am getting used to. I look forward to the in-laws interacting more and bonding away from the Duprees. I already root for Bill and Bradley, I see myself warming up to New Ted soon.

I just hope they don't move that lady in their apartment. Same. And Mike seemed to enjoy those scenes.

I am not sure either, but I'm riding with the outsiders regardless. There was an opportunity to use Anita to ground the family and make you root for them. I wonder do they still have chemistry, I thought they did at ATWT.

I love Bradley and Bill together. New Ted was very soulful in his scenes with Leslie.

That was weird how the fans were saying Kat should be a detective, and it shows up in the script the very next day.

Seeing Guza and Julie Hanan names on my TV screen just takes me back to high school. Sweet memories. I know the feeling. I am finally jumping on the bandwagon about Leslie not being Eva's mother.
