Understood, absolutely as you should be! I, too, am furious with her. Too many people get behind the wheel when they've been imbibing. There is no excuse these days not to let someone else drive you! I've come back to this point with a question, curiosity, and that is, what is there that makes anyone think the Dobsons were difficult? I'm totally unaware of anything like that. And, when P&G wanted them to swap shows with Douglas Marland, they did not want to because they were happy where they were but they did it, without complaint & even carried both shows for a month so Marland could have a month off.

NBC sought them out specifically to create Santa Barbara, called them out of the blue, with this idea, offering them complete creative control. They tried to fire one writer, found out that they could not & according to the terms of their deal they should have been able to, so they objected, quite naturally. But the whole thing could have been handled right then & there without any ado at all. I will never understand why that didn't happen.

It was NBC who originally promised them complete creative control. Anne Howard Bailey had it in her contract that she could only be fired by NBC. And, this is a quote by Bridget about AHB & her. I'm really glad the show is touching on how hard it is for them to be dealing with grief at the holidays. So, this week, the show feels different to me. I liked Monday. I liked Tuesday. Now, I didn't like Wednesday & today I liked again. I suppose that is mostly from Nicole. Nicole, talking to God. That's a new one. No one on the show has a God thing. Nicole & EJ didn't name their baby boy, did they? Given the circumstances, maybe that's for the best. My mother died totally unexpectedly on 12-23 & for years it just ruined Christmas both for me & my baby brother. She was too young & it was a terrible date.

It goes without saying that Alex North as we knew him, could hardly have been worse, but gee, who knew he could be so much better?!!!

I disrespect her for that of course but also for lying to Frank which caused the debacle of the many recasts of Molly. She was wholly irresponsible as a citizen of the road and as a cast member of GH. Her attire is fodder for ridicule because of her statement to the person trying to save her with the Jaws of Life. I'm sorry you had that experience. My middle brother was an alcoholic & an addict & 3 different times he had wrecks driving DUI & with others being injured. I lived in fear that he was going to kill someone & just thank God that he never did. For that reason people driving incapacitated hits very hard with me. As his family members we forced him into rehab several times but were helpless & powerless to do anything else.

Yes, I know what the pic was from. Someone more into wardrobe than I was horrified at her choice of footwear. They tell me this is dragging on so long because that's how backed up the courts are there. People there seem to be either very for her or very against her. It was just a crazy article & the description of her arrest fit right in. I knew she'd gone blonde but I was startled at how very blonde. I sense you might be offended. If so, sorry. Understood. Age is not apparent when messaging online. Since I am old as dirt, I watched a lot of the Bill Bell Salem writing. Even though AW is my favorite, it is really the Bill Bell Salem writing that hooked me forever more on soaps. Susan & Julie & David & poor baby Dickie is literally the first I remember. I am sure that like me you have been wondering what Haley Pullos has been doing since she is not yet incarcerated. Do you think she went this blonde in hopes that it would act as a disguise? Or do you think she's mainly been shopping for pearls & even more expensive blouses? I just knew it would be important to share her new look. Newbie here, still watching, still regarding, still wondering & wandering. Haven't checked in, in days so I thought I would. First, about Nikki, and that flask. Okay, it's black, it's fashionable, it would fit in any purse, but Lordy, that flask is way too tiny for Nikki's thirst! She would have to be refilling it at least a dozen times a day! Maybe she has several in there, all black, look exactly the same. Yeah, that's the ticket, that's my take on it. You'll have to come up with your own! Now, about the trips to & from Oregon. How in the hell did Y&R get possession of the Pine Valley Transporter?! I guess when Brian Frons killed off AMC they were willing to sell off the prime bits! Y&R was smart to get it! I was glad to see that Jordan employed the classic disguise: black cape & enormous black hat, the two things guaranteed to make people NOTICE YOU! Oh, I forgot, also big sunglasses. I really, still I know I am boring, cannot stand Tucker. I really am loving Mamie, Ashley & Jill. Also good to see Chelsea. Is there any hope that I will see Teriah? That's all for today.

I'm still curious where you came up with this. Were you maybe not watching when it was shown? Because it was very clear - Korean War. The only way it wasn't weird, because it was weird, but we were watching M*A*S*H* at the time, I believe, and that was also the Korean War. And then as a nation we had a considerable pause before we had the Vietnam War appear in pop culture. And apropos of nothing any more than a lot of talk about JER & about Marlena, did folks know that Deidre has a new dog & that she named him Reilly? I want to see a pic but none has been forthcoming!
