I like this Jordan, now. I didn't at first, but she got better. I just loved it that she told Curtis he needed to confide in someone else, not her! About him & his wife. I had been saying just that to the TV minutes before. Often I feel she is painfully underwritten but in a way maybe that's par for the course for blacks on this soap. I think there are other examples.

Has Sonny been a mobster since Guza? Yes, he has. Back then was he portrayed somehow as a good man, righteous? No, he was not. Now, fly through time. Sonny has been credited with taking care of Stone & then Robin. Before you could turn around twice & shout! Sonny donated enough money to build a wing of the hospital in honor of Stone. IMO Mulcahey was on the right track. Maybe that lead to this? We may thank him yet.

LaGuardia, R. (1974b). The wonderful world of TV soap operas. ISBN-13 ISBN-13 978-0345272836 It took Harding “Pete” Lemay, however, a skilled playwright who thoroughly believed in the heretofore unexplained psychological potential of the daytime serial, to transform Mrs. Nixon’s love-triangle subplot into a balanced story contrasting realistic human behavior and that “other world of fantasy and striving. He found story devices no longer necessary.” For example, Lemay said, “I didn’t feel it was necessary to keep Rachel a black-and-white character. I didn’t see her as a villainess… I saw her instead as a human being who had always had bad breaks and who defeats herself because she is so used to failure. When she lost Steve this last time, I wanted the audience to feel her pain as I felt it. I wanted them to feel her tears. Mr. Lemay, along with his producer, Paul Rauch, should be given an Award for the Greatest Contribution to Daytime Serials, for completely eliminating melodramatic cliche’s in a daytime drama, and for their invaluable demonstration that, what viewers really want is drama based on psychology rather than on escapist melodrama. Under Lemay and Rauch “Another World”, which had previously used many tried-and-true soap opera devices (although fewer than most other shows), got rid of them, employed inward writing, and became one of the top two or three daytime television shows. About the only happy event in “Another World” was the birth of Ada’s daughter, Nancy, named after Ada’s dear friend on her deathbed Nancy Wickwire. Edit to add: Emphasis on "dear friend". Should be changed to "special friend".

@Jason47 For Your Information, generally. I have just exchanged emails with the Paley Center. They got back to me within 24 hours!! They have However, I have suggested to them that it is a clerical error Hart instead of Hunter but gave them the info on her years, her character name & that she did indeed marry David Martin. I referred her to imdb & wiki to double check me, should she wish to make a notation. Now for the bad news: So, that's a shame. If anyone is in the vicinity, you can view videos sitting in a cubicle. I did so when we lived in Brooklyn. Their hours: The Paley Center is open to the public Wednesday through Sunday from noon to 6 p.m.

GH: May 2025 Spoilers
So, I have a sorta spoiler. This person posted this picture with the info that her baby son had just played a baby girl who was just baptized & ABC Prospect Studios shows as well as a picture on the wall of the GH exterior buildings. So either Sasha & Michael had a girl or ChaLynn has gotten an infant to adopt already. So, in a way it's not a spoiler, LOL!! But, of course, it would need to be posted under spoiler space. Her identity shows as charcoughlin_

This is a public message board. There is no inserting oneself into a conversation etc. If it is something that is posted, it can be replied to. But, no, that's not even close to what I said. There was no presumption & also no should. And, your replies are totally unsatisfactory to me, so I am outta this.

Yes, obviously. Me, I'm pretty sure I miss as much as I am aware of. I can't speak for anyone else, nor was I. My use of we meant that I thought some fans were aware that GH was going to reuse Carly's old house for some purpose, then, VOILA, Lulu (somehow) acquires a house that looks suspiciously exactly like that. I'm only being so painstakingly literal because you are being intentionally arch & obtuse. I'll stop if you will.

I don't know how we would know if this is so or not. We know he repurposed Edmund & Maria's some building & one was in Pine Valley & one is now in Port Charles so that's how we know with it, but, what clues do we have with these two/this one?

GH: May 2025 Discussion Thread
I thought someone saw a pic in someone's IG acct. is all, but, cute, nope, not an announcement, although that's a lovely idea. Memo to the Fans from Franky: The next set I will be repurposing - and expect you to all bow down & worship me in appreciation, ..... Indeed! That line would be as easy as "TJ really thinks he's going to be glad he's now doing Doctors without Borders."

The Anna/Jason symbiotic relationship is the one that sticks out to me. They went way out of their way to tell us & show us that they really think they get each other. Basically they have INSISTED that they are somehow perfect partners. Plus, in Africa they treated us to a "Are We About To Die?" kiss. Meanwhile they have worked & overworked the idea that they were NOT going there of course because to Jason she is & always will be Robin's mother. Okay, geeze, fine, use time, space & dialog to push a variety of different messages, some of which seem to us to clash! We're just the fans, being told what to think. Don't mind us at all when we grumble. If Robin were watching this show, I can only imagine the "Letters to the Editor"!!!

OLD P&G ACTORS? Where is this coming from? In case you've forgotten, which would be hard to do because of TIDE and Febreze P&G is one of the sponsors of this new soap we love!!! Also Lindstrom never worked on a P&G soap. Cady, of course, did, but that's because she has worked for everyone!!! Who else? TTunie? You don't want her around because of Jessica on ATWT? Agree to disagree if so!!! And, KaMo just because she was on GL? I cannot go there with you. Sorry. Not sorry!

I do not buy that. I mean, I didn't go by Laura for years to be somehow accepting of rapist Luke. Why now would I go by her about our favorite narcissist Sonny? I wouldn't. Laura has never exhibited what you might call good judgment when it comes to people. I mean, she hasn't, you know?!!! Think of Esme!!!! Technically it was the 2000s.

I recently edited an older episode to do a Denise Alexander edit but Mo was in scenes & I had forgotten that back then he was actually good at his job. The contrast with today is well alarming.
