I'm really surprised how good the new album is. Its a great thing when an artist is fully in tune with what they do best and what the fans want and gives exactly that.

The show does not need two right winging born again Christian's, having both Candace Cameron and Paula is just redundant. Once again, they should have kept Nicolle to have two different conservative perspectives.

I get that its a Jewish holiday but if I were Michelle I wouldn't be taking a day off, Stacy fits in a lot more seamlessly. Michelle shouldn't have been hired in the first place.

I thought the pacing was much better tonight and I didn't mind the early cameos since they were confined to the first segment, Marisa Tomei and Chris Rock contributed to the actual plot and did fantastic in their roles so I enjoyed them. I'm glad they finally wrapped up this Cookie snitching story

Jamal is a prick and slowly turning into his father. Luscious is still a magnificent bastard, loved him turning the tables on the family and Chris Rock's role.

It was only the first day but I don't see this panel being able to gel. Joy is Joy which is great, but Whoopi is checked out waiting for her contract to be up, Michelle is unfunny and redundant with Joy back, Raven seems even more lost without Nicole and Rosie P to help her clear out her ignorant thoughts and the Paula woman is no Meredith Vieira. They don't have time to wait for someone to learn how to let their hair down and relax. I don't understand why they even hired Candace either if she's going to be gone for three months? Waste of a chair and now they're going to have to wait even longer for the ladies to find a groove together.

I'll say it again, they should have kept Nicole, especially with election season underway. The key to a successful talk show is consistency and making viewers comfortable with a knowledge of exactly what to expect when they tune in. Unfortunately once again ABC has failed to cast the show toward a way to solidify that. I truly don't see this making it past season 20.

Joy was a smart move but they still should have kept Nicole especially if they were going to do a panel of 6, the Paula woman is not needed.

She had a very classy exit. They really should have kept her, next season is going to be an even bigger trainwreck than these last few.

I think the panel of Whoopi, Nicole, Michelle, DJ from Full House, and Raven works really well. These last two days have been very entertaining.

I actually like Molly Sims. She has a different kind of vibe from the other ladies that works for me, they need someone who can do that fashion and beauty stuff and she's perfect for that. Plus she's [!@#$%^&*] gorgeous

I want them to try Stacy London out again though, with Raven, not that annoying ass Christela woman.

I love Mariah, have since Fantasy with Ol Dirty Bastard. Me and the Mrs went to New York and stayed with the sister-in-law from hell during the holiday's just so we could go see her at the Beacon Theater and while her voice isn't what it used to be, she still had her wow moments and still outsang her peers and 90% of these youngins doing it today. Her last couple of albums are actually very good too, the most recent one specifically just had really poor single choices and yes, her image does need a major makeover.

I find her personality absolutely hilarious. I think people take the whole diva thing far more seriously than she intends. She has some obvious issues that stem from her childhood and then her time with the devil Tommy Mottola, and maybe she should work them out with a therapist as opposed to bottles of champagne, but the way she channels that into her songwriting is absolutely breathtaking. I just will always have a soft spot and love for her.

Taraji has been very kind and smart to toe the line and not put CBS and TIIC over at that show on blast, very big of her to go back. Success is the best revenge!

Taraji is pushing for them to explore Cookie's stint in prison next season and I hope they do. I want them to delve deeper into the characters histories with flashbacks. Maybe have Jada Pinkett or someone come on as an old cell mate trying to get some of the Empire Cookie cake. Explore Lucious, Vernon, and Bunky building the company and raising the boys without Cookie, Andre in college, etc.

I agree, Joy leaving was the real hit to the show for me.

Yes, it was great seeing her again. They should let her do what Barbara did at the end….let her appear when she wants to only. Don't give Joy a full schedule...

I think she's said she'd be open to coming back to a situation like that as well, they should give her whatever she wants.

I agree that Nicole is finally letting her hair down, Rosie P is too. Rosie O was such a negative energy, the show has a much more relaxed vibe now and the panel isn't afraid to say their opinions.

Raven Symone is an idiot and not in the fun ridiculous way like Naya Rivera, I hope she's not a real contender for the 5th chair. I'm not crazy about the Samantha woman either.

Gina Tognoni was looked at for a Carly recast when Sarah Brown was leaving, and Brown says she recommended Laura Wright to TPTB.

Sarah Buxton and not actually latino Galen Gerring's odd wife were candidates when TB left.

Rosie O leaving was the best thing that could have happened to the show.

I love Garcelle Beauvais and Padma Lakshmi but I'm still pulling for Stacy London and Naya Rivera and/or Michelle Williams.

Trai Bryers deserves an Emmy for this episode. Very easy to go the cliche route with a bipolar storyline but he's killing it.

There was nothing refreshing about Rosie O bringing up Frozen, her kids, or her weight loss a million times, constantly making every topic about herself or her views and just getting an attitude and then completely checking out of the discussion when she couldn't. Whoopi ain't chit either but she knows how to work with a panel much better. She doesn't suffocate the show with boring, awkward self indulging segments of her doing crafts, having a former overweight person come on just to tell her how awesome and inspiring she is, or bringing little kids on just so they can sing Let It Go ad nauseum. She needed to go.
