Revenge: Discussion Thread
I absolutely ADORED Victoria's behavior after killing Helen. She was just so gorgeous and crazy. And the look on Daniel's face when he saw Helen's dead body was made of platinum win.

I just keep looking at those pictures of Lexi Ainsworth. They make me sad. Why is she trying so hard to define herself in this hypersexual, aggressive way? It's like she's being turned out by a pimp and is afraid to go home until she makes her quota.

JR Martinez is back in the hospital this weekend for some surgery. It seems to be relatively minor and he's tweeting from his bed.

The person who really needs slapping is the photographer. The child clearly needs strong direction and he obviously wasn't giving it. He just put her in generic poses, tossed some props at her ("Pick up the apple! Now pick up the gun!") and proceeded to snap away. However much she paid him was a waste of her money.

LMAO! I love that she's showing up to support him but I wonder what they hell she's thinking. Hee! I'm never going to see her the same way now that I know how many people here can't stand her.

Fruitvale won the Grand Jury prize at Sundance! This is it. Now is the moment MBJ turns into Denzel Washington. http://carpetbagger.blogs.nytimes.com/2013/01/27/fruitvale-drama-with-little-advance-buzz-wins-at-sundance/

LMAO! I know the feeling. It's the way I feel about Olivia Wilde. I remember thinking he was hot on Deception but I wasn't subjected to the Ford crap on OLTL so I don't have any baggage where he's concerned. The irony is that I remember reading the boards when DAG first showed up on OLTL. He'd apparently poured a bucket of water over himself and everybody ooh-ed and ahh-ed and talked about how much they wanted to see more of him. Be careful what you wish for, I guess.

Apparently Jamie Luner is going to be on tonight's episode of "Criminal Minds." I love this guy so much. I can think of few things I would like more than watching him win an Oscar. (Except maybe tying Frons to a chair and forcing him to watch MBJ win an Oscar. ) http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/01/22/michael-b-jordan-fruitvale_n_2530343.html

That's the calm well-reasoned statement I've grown to expect from the NRA.

Ricky Paull Goldin is throwing a premiere/viewing party to celebrate his new show on HGTV show Spontaneous Construction next month. Some of his former co-workers will be joining him. Among them: Alicia Minshew, Gina Tognoni, Jessica Leccia, Rebecca Budig, Ron Raines and Tom Pelphrey. I think it's great that his GL and AMC peeps will be showing up to support him.

Exactly. I've simply gotten to the point where I don't trust Republicans no matter how moderate they seem because I think that in the end they will revert back to GOP orthodoxy. I'd love to believe that Christie has evolved into the type of Republican who will put country over party and reach across the aisle but I don't think that he has. Right now, the only Republican I truly believe has a mind of his own is Jon Huntsman and I think it's just a matter of time before he's forced to switch parties. I have to admit to being fascinated by the blue state/red state rift that the Sandy relief issue has created, or more accurately exacerbated. It's just another example of how the GOP is tearing itself apart. Every little crack is a good thing because IMO the only way the party will truly evolve is to completely implode first.

I'm wary of Christie. I commend him for his recent actions but I still remember his previous behavior. Not his comments about Obama because that's just par for the course but I remember the video of him berating people who asked him questions he didn't like at a town hall meeting. Not reporters but just ordinary citizens. I can't respect or trust a politician who bullies and disrespects his constituents.

I have to admit that I am thrilled to seeing these actors and others take matters into their own hands and try to evolve the genre. Of all the reactions to cancellation these are the ones I find healthiest. Sure a lot of this stuff is going to fail but the important thing is that they keep trying.

JDP looks like one of those older Latino men who play petanque/bocce ball in the park.

What's really pathetic is all the super pac money thrown at a man who didn't really want the job. This just brings home all over again how delusional Rove, Adelson and the rest really are.

The next Tribute to Pine Valley events have been planned and are taking place February 16 and 17. The 2/16 event is in Mashantucket, CT and the 2/17 event is in Philadelphia, PA. Details at http://www.atributetopinevalley.com I can't lie. I'm thinking of going to the Philly event. I've always wanted to see Darnell and Debbi in person but beyond that...I really like and miss these actors (even if I hated their characters) and I want to support them. Especially if the Prospect Park talk is remotely true.

Yeah I can't blame her. I hope that Obama finds someone to nominate besides Kerry just to screw the Repubs then finds another way to reward him. I am perfectly comfortable now in completely writing John McCain off as a disgusting human being no matter how much of a war hero he is. It's obvious that he's finished morphing into a partisan hack devoid of honor.

Republicans care about nothing but their ideology and power. Bob Dole has no power anymore so to hell with him.

Justin Bruening (ex Jamie, AMC) is joining the cast of Grey's Anatomy. http://tvline.com/2012/12/04/greys-anatomy-season-9-cast-justin-breuning/ I have NOTHING against JB but I'll admit that I'm continually surprised at the amount of work he's gotten since leaving AMC.

Sherri Saum has done pretty well for herself since leaving OLTL. She's one of those HITG actresses who just keeps popping up.

It's a niche mag. No different than any soap rag. It's not like anybody is claiming she got the cover of People Magazine. Let's not throw shade at AM for the fact that the mag has "celebrity" in the title. As for her acting career, at least she's out there auditioning and getting the occasional gig. That far better than the sad people who are sitting at home waiting for Bell, Tomlin or Carlivati to call. JMHO.
