  2. Did you? Or, was your post supposed to be on the Paramount+/Showtime deal. To me, it's a good deal. 😃

I tried to watch the original American Gigolo to the best of my ability to the point where it was a true test of my sanity and stability. I could barely understand what Laurent Hutton was saying, and Richard Gere's performance seemed somewhat lackluster. So, in the movie, who was the actual killer? His pimp?

It's likely that Thomas called CPS on himself to "set it up" to be Brooke, so Ridge will find his way back to Taylor for Ridge & Taylor: Round 1000.

I instantly got that vibe too.

Is it just me or does anyone else find it odd that soaps still have 30-something year old adults scheming to get their parents back together?

Seriously. Get a life, Logans and Forresters. And mind yo' business.

That makes sense to postpone the hearing.  Whenever they hold the hearing, ideally it should be the only thing on the news that day.

Yeah, I wonder what Rachel Maddox will be doing. She announced that she was going to be on Wednesday evening with her msnbc colleagues. Well, I guess it's Alex Wagner then (which is fine). I just enjoy seeing a whole slew of them together - especially Stephanie Ruhle (that's my girl!), Rachel Maddox, Alex Wagner, Nicolle Wallace, and Ari Melber.

When Abigail was dying, she said to Chad, "They had a knife"

Yeah. Two cheap steak knives. One was by the lemon while the other laid by that ugly jewelry box. OH! So "THEY" implies two.

That gun scene from what I'm reading sounds so awesome. Wow. It's been forever since Eli and Mr. Mayo Lover and Stacy's gun faceoff with Steve Johnson.

The resolution to why Clyde killed Abigail was anticlimactic. So did they forget Abigail said there were two of them when Chad found her?

The ending was better with Jennifer driving drugged up and a dead bloody Abigail on the passenger seat and EJ shooting Clyde. I found Clyde's late moan after being shot hilarious!😂

LOL! What? I'm so confused on this one. Two of who? Two Abigail's? Abigail was the one who threw that stupid mask back to Gwen and told her she had one hour to get her ass back to Statesville. So, is Jennifer so high on pills that she's hallucinating and seeing her dead daughter in her car? I wonder what kind of pills she's on. God, it'd be nice to pop in a percocet and drink a local microbrew right about now. 😃

Larys was featured before the timejump.

Oh, yeah. That's right. In S01E05. I totally forgot all about that. Well, since it has been a ten-year jump, I'm sure he and Queen Alicent Hightower have developed an untold relationship within that time frame. I was wondering why he ordered the tongues to be cut off of those guys in exchange for their freedom. Well,  because they cannot speak of it, but they can write about it I suppose. So, how many children does Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen have? It's 3, right? I wonder if the eldest son is Ser Criston Cole's.

Great episode Sunday. Truly some shocking developments. I can’t believe the King survived another 10 years. I

OMG. Me too. I'm sure by now his back has been sucked on by a thousand blood-sucking leeches. I don't know how Queen Alicent Hightower does it.

  8. Okay, so Ty Tennant is the actor who plays Prince Aegon Targaryen II. That's the character who enjoys voyeurism masturbation, right? I don't know how to feel now as Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen and Ser Criston Cole were like the IT factor. Like, if you're not them, then you're no one, lol! Of the recasts to age them 10 years later, they didn't want to keep Milly Alcock, but they kept Fabien Frankel? What. EVER. I like Olivia Cooke as Queen Alicent Hightower though.

Who is this Larys 'Clubfoot' Strong character? He just kind of popped up like a genital wart.

  9. OMG! I *heart* Principal Ava. She's so sweet and her heart is always in the right place. Honestly, I never heard of Abbott Elementary until I watched the Primetime Emmys. Usually, when I see that kind of recognition, curiosity courses through these veins of mine. At first, it reminded me of Modern Family, but then I felt the Parks and Recreation side to it since it revolves around the workplace. All in all, Janelle James as Principal Ava Coleman continues to capture my heart.

  10. Yeah, I haven't watched the episode yet and I'll take screenshots soon. However, my physical therapist gave it away when she goes, "Yeah, so I heard that almost half the cast is going to be recast." Now, I don't care if someone releases a spoiler, but it was the fact that I knew at that very moment when she said that to me as she was painfully stretching and pulling my arm, then I knew I was about to lose my Milly.

I enjoy pain, but to lose Milly so abruptly is not fair.

  11. LOL! I'm such a clown and I don't care either. 😆 God, I couldn't imagine telling someone I'm not interested in them and their lame ass still keeps on tryin'. That kind of action does not bode well with me cause they ain't listening. Well, it's time to make them listen cause I ain't got no time for harrassment. You do things your way, Mr. Alex Kiriakis and I'll play things my way. Let's see who wins in the end. Haha!

  12. No. Not at all. It's just that Soap Opera Digest had their mail-call and these are what people are saying. These are long-time viewers who may not know about soap-opera message boards and proclaiming their likes and dislikes. Who knows? Maybe they don't think about it. However, you made the claim that watching Days of our Lives is .08 cents a day on Peacock. Okay, Donna. Fine.

What I DO NOT like is monetary classification in this society, and yet, you expressed this as if .08 cents a day was nothing to watch DAYS. People on message boards do not speak for the population as a whole, and I'm rather disappointed that you made your argument that way. If viewers who wrote to Soap Opera Digest wanted to have a voice, then by all means, let them have a voice. They're just as important than us.

Look. Lemme tell you what I'mma gonna do after I've said I'm not interested, okay? I'm a gonna go in the kitchen, grab a 20-pound iron skillet and put it on the stove. I will then open a kitchen cabinet, and grab a container of Crisco. Oh, yeah. Claim to make some fried chicken.

And just when that shortening snap, crackle, pops on my skin, I'll know when my recipe is ready, ya dig? I'll MAKE Alex understand. I don't play.

I certainly see fans on message boards that are on board with the move. Are there more, louder voices speaking against? Yes.  Soap fans do not like change. This is not news. And, people who are with the move say their piece, offer ideas that they think might help, go ahead & make their move to Peacock Premie & then settle in to post about the show again. They're not going to stay back in threads where everyone there is being 100% negative when they do not agree & they cannot do anything to change it. And, why should they? Do you see traffic about the show?

But then again, this does not constitute as the viewer population as a whole. Sure, you can go on message boards and see things, but it is unfair to say (and I'm not saying this to be mean at all) ... I'm just trying to see things from a different perspective. We (people who post on message boards) are a very small fragment of a subpopulation. I'm trying to grasp through my apparent straw-filled head when your stance or tone on As the World Turns, Guiding Light, All My Children, Another World, and One Life to Live have been completely different. But with Days of Our Lives, you're singing like a male canary.

I'm not inviting you to the dark side by any means (although it is delicious), but just because you see comments from this message board and from that message board, so therefore, it must be true. Message board posters do not constitute Days of Our Lives viewers as a whole. I'm not being a smart ass, but I'm trying to dig further into your thought processes.
