Britney in her 50's attire I think was the sexiest I've ever seen her!

Coronation Street: Discussion Thread
The Becky/Steve reunion and the subsequent catfight with Michelle were great fun! The actress who plays Becky is just PHENOMENAL. Not sure how I feel about Ben/Sophie's Christianhood storyline yet, hope it turns out OK. And I'm loving Julie's dilemma.

Coronation Street: Discussion Thread
I'm a couple of weeks behind, but the Tony/Carla confrontation was ace and the Macaroon debate was comic gold. I can't wait to see more of this Gary vs David thing, it seems like it may be boiling to something spectacular. Len is so creepy.

Home and Away: Discussion Thread
I tried watching again a few weeks back and I found it utterly impossible. I didn't recognize half of the cast, and I just gave up.

ALL: Soap Opera Background Music Thread
The "Victor Theme" reminds me of "Victor, don't go! DON'T GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" Is it the same score? I really am not sure.

This is also one more breathtaking Y&R score (And may I also say: How sweet is that scene??? Aaaaaw! ): This music was most recently used when Kay visited Victor at the hospital, while Sabrina was still alive.

Talk about some wonderful, powerful music. I love that they use so much of the score, I've never heard so much of it before. It really is heartbreaking, so much of Y&R's music is. God, we need a full soundtrack so badly!

Britney Spears Thread
^^I think that's actually a good enough cover! The song is not bad, but I'm not crazy over it either. I think it's fun and it has the potential of becoming a hit. But the true success, I think, is the video. It's a Britney that's more confident, more beautiful, and with a nice video. Clever to use "Toxic's" director, one of her best videos. Her first two, maybe three, albums will always have a special place in my heart because of all the memories....

Texas! Discussion Thread
I watched the first two episodes, but just couldn't get into it.... I found them extremely slow and boring (and, believe me, I love slow pace) apart from the Iris scenes.... I kinda gave up after that.

Knots Landing
I think that she would have been a horrible fit--on paper, Lucy moving and staying in KNOTS LANDING would be a perfect fit. However, Tilton would not be able to support the character-driven stories that the writers would require for her, so either she would have been written out or she would have been relegated to a simple plot point. And, don't get me wrong: I loved the early days of Lucy, were she was spoiled, bratty, bitchy and would give it to J.R. as hard as she got it. But after she turned into a whiny, poor-me princess whore, then barf.

Grey's Anatomy: Discussion Thread
The second episode was CLASSIC GREY'S ANATOMY. Funny, touching, brilliant.... The scene were Bailey hits Alex and reprimands him was exquisite. VERY well written. The third episode was good too and the ending with George and Callie gave me the goosebumps.

Grey's Anatomy: Discussion Thread
The premiere was difinitely better that the latter episodes of Season 3, but it could get a little better. What really annoyed me was stuff like the crappy "Izzie performs surgery on a deer" thing and Meredith caught between Lexie and Derek and crap like that. However, LOVED how the new residents tried to be like Bailey, loved the bonding between them, and the bonding between George and Lexie and also loved that George went to Izzie and told her he loves her, because you know that means that someone has to suffer now.
