The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
Okay, day one of the week is over.... do I really have to tell you what DIDN'T happen? What did is Scott and Lulu having a confrontation about Laura. They were in Logan's room, door closed, no Luke. Don't know if this is good or not, but Luke didn't hear Lulu saying Scott killed RW today. Also, Sonny has got to be one of the stupidest gangsters on the planet. With no proof he's locked up Johnny for the kidnapping of Michael, and today he threated to cut off his fingers until Johnny confessed. I hope they make Sonny look like and idiot when Michael tells everyone that he ran away because of Sonny's threat. I'm wanting Jason to take over in the worst way - at least the Borg thinks things through. The interview was the last she did on that Soap Net show. I'm sure Ms. Q has the safefile link somewhere. As for the Emmy's, it wasn't distraction. He honestly looked like he was swallowing bile.

^^^ You aren't alone. That wasn't lost on any of us and we discussed it in the BR a few times. There have been a number of indications about the relationships between TG/JE/GF. - JE's interview when someone said LnL are never over and she froze for a few seconds before regaining her composure - GF's interview on an LA morning show when she listed all the people who were 'motherly' to her the first time, and mentioned JE after a significant pause - TG barely containing his contempt at the '06 Emmy's - TG saying repeatedly that JE makes him better and the list continues... Yeah... I don't think JE has much use for BS behind the scenes, and GF certainly has a reputation for bringing that.

Oh, that would be too delicious for words! She hasn't done CBS yet. I think it's more likely because it did come from TC and not SD. GF's hard line hasn't done her any favours, and right now only soaps would have her 'cause everyone else is after good actresses. All we get from GH is thanks, but no thanks. I will gladly hand her to another network. EDIT As for MM, TL, I think this one has been discredited. Most of the stuff from MM (if you can figure it out) is questionable. It would be nice if they looked into Tracy's mob connections, though. Since Guza like them, if might give her more to do.

Good morning all. We had a busy weekend here. Digging out and friends over for dinner last evening. I'm looking forward to Tracy this week - it has been way too long. But as I see, there is nothing new. SD is totally silent on them. SZ has this posted for the week: - Scott disparages Lulu for purposely doing Logan harm as payback for what he’d done to her before. - Scott comes out with it with Lulu—just as Luke happens nearby. - Luke gets all violently riled up over what Scott just admitted. - Tracy presents Monica with the evidence of her hit ‘n run, those discarded clothes, and makes her squirm. And that's all. Nothing new but at least she's finally mentioned for this week and Tracy does the show-n-tell, not Lukey. Off to start school. It's March Break around these parts, so the kids and I will be home doing our thing and hiding from the throngs. The Diva made some protest that it was a break week, and then I reminded her that the other children have 7 hours in a building where she has 2 at the dining table. Slight bit of difference!

They have their own formatting fairies there. Nothing I did to make it look pretty mattered at all. The paragraph thing confuses me, though. It shouldn't make a difference. There is extra spacing between the paragraphs if you hit Enter, but otherwise it should flow freely. Are you using MSWord or another writing programme? That might be your issue. I used Word and it's not pretty, but it didn't chop it up. It got worse? Oy vey. Talk about someone being too overrated - talent by association is all there is. All other associations fell flat, no matter which show. He made it work, not her.

Oh the weather outside is frightful, but the fire is so delightful... And since we've no place to go, let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.... Well, the fireplace is the electric idiot-box, but it will do. 40 hours and counting. Snowbound is fun when you have food and a cooking/heating source. Otherwise it can be less than thrilling. I think it's conditioning though, because I will take this over living in hurricane/tornado territory. (Those scare me, blizzards are just annoying.) I hope that Luke overhearding Scott's confession is misleading. Lukey was looking currious on Wednesday, so probably won't leave whatever he suspects alone. Why they would want to revisit that one is beyond me. Unless Scott confesses officially they have nothing - all evidence is lost. Anyone else besides me want the ewcbo to die in her sleep, boring and uneventful? I'm wondering how they are going to have Luke and Tracy interact this week. She is homeless and haunting the hospital while he is couch-ridden at that house with Alice. (Don't even get me started on how weird that is.) I hope we get something worth waiting for after this drought. Edward reaching out to Tracy should be interesting - it's such a rare occurrence. And I can't wait until Tracy tells/shows Monica what she knows. Monica won't be amused... Might be a good week to be snowbound afterall. It's the start of March Break here, which means all homeschoolers hide for the week. I will be around to recap (since we will finally have something worth recapping).

I bought pre-cooked bacon this morning and thought I was cheating. Hooked, you take the cake! This has got to be the snowiest winter I've seen in a long time. Today the kids went out to play (in another major snowstorm) and had to come back in - Zion's (5 yr old) legs were too short to get over the new snow! That is before the drifts and snowbanks. We are almost officially snowbound.

Sorry Sweetie, wish I could but try as I may I just don't have TQ on the brain. I think my efforts went into Finding Happiness, and is now on vacation along with JE.

I'll have to see how it plays out, but I can't see them bringing up Rick Webber at this stage in the game. Even if they did it would be about Luke/Scott not ewcbo. Perhaps they are going to explore the fact that ewcbo really was a squirrel and make Lulu more/less like her. As for Luke talking to Monica, that throws me. Tracy has to be involved, since everything was done to her. But perhaps it's more along the lines of him fighting for Tracy. The other month he was talking with Monica about Tracy and it was really sweet. If it's more about how much his wife needs to be home, I can handle that. If it's about the blackmail, then I'll be disappointed. Luke found those clothes for Tracy - he has no vested interest outside of Tracy's happiness. She is the one who should be doing the blackmailing, with Luke as support.

Sorry, not my thing, but keep writing. I found this to be a place of great encouragement. How's everyone tonight. Just got home from the Salvation Army. The kids are doing well, but they just can't wait for Spring. Their new choir director has them singing at everything - which is good - but they just couldn't do a praise concert and a church service back to back. They want some down time. Today I had to deal with the "why aren't your ordained" question. Haven't had that in a few years. The church is considering me for pulpit supply, but want to know why I'm not a Priest, since I'm totally trained. It's a hour long conversation with a very good wine, not something for 5 minutes of phone conversation before I have to rush the kids out the door. We shall see. I love the way church people are so political - it's fun, in a pathetically worldly way. At least this one came out and asked me my theological position on a number of things and didn't try to find out indirectly. I've got to speak with a Bishop and get my ordination back on track, then I wouldn't have to deal with this part of the crap - I'll have different crap . I'm annoyed but not surprised there won't be any Tracy this week. Unless we are in for a huge surprise, I can't see it. All the action actors are happy Guza is back, but it just means back-burner on the pantry stove for our girl. She has all the potential in the world, but Guza can't see beyond his movie pirating. A child could learn to count on the number of glaring missed opportunites there are with Tracy. Oh well... A&M, glad your midterms are over. Lady A, that picture is hilarious. Hooked, how are you feeling? Lainey, how goes the packing? Ms. Q, what was the weather this morning? Funny, DON'T leave us hanging with Ramone!!!

Rach... how are you doing? How's school? How are things back on the farm? How is it going with your roommate? We miss you and will be glad when you can get back to us.... (how's that? You're the only one I'll mention by name. Feel loved now?) Morning all... you know the days are getting longer when the screamers are awakening closer to 6 then 9... I can't wait until the clock changes this weekend. Weighing in on the Paul/Tracy years... about all you can say is that Tracy had a nice piece of eyecandy. The Q's thought more of him then her, of course. It's almost painful to watch a lot of that stuff because Tracy was so insecure and knew he didn't love her the way she wanted him to. FF a number of years and what she has with Luke has got to be the best she's ever had - which is both great and sad at the same time... EDIT On SD this morning... Any info on TG ? How will his surgery be handled in the scripts ? Any SL coming up for him ? His knee surgery will be explained as a fall Luke took offscreen. His story is Tracey and trying to keep their marriage legal. Anyone want to take a stab at the last part? Keeping it legal? As in keeping Tracy from divorcing him or is there something from Vegas we don't know? And why do they have to explain it as a fall - we all 'saw' Tracy hit him with a metal pole? EDIT AGAIN This was on SZ this morning. Usually I don't like that site, but every now and again there is something insightful... Unexpected couples can be an unexpected treasure. What I find the most enjoyable in a couple is not the couple that tiic bring on and shove down our throats, but the couple that clicks, the one that has the unexpected chemistry that makes you smile, watch, laugh and long for them to see the sparks that fly between them. I'm beginning to see in Spinelli and Maxie the same sort of thing that I saw in Luke and Tracy when they first got together. Mutual distaste and a pronounced dislike of each other, but thrown together and finding out,as I phrased it in another post, to their mutual horror, that something special has happened.

Salt shaker? I don't think the Atlantic Ocean has enough salt for these. It's interesting fanfic, though. For starters, Tracy isn't that stupid...

Sorry, I didn't see this until you were already gone. Well, watched today.... the part of me that loves a campy James Bond movie really liked it. Can't wait until the TMK is wrapped up, though. It looks like Lucky will be Sam's hero (because St. Jasus is knocked out). Do I really have to say who WASN'T on???

Gionet??? Well that's part of your problem. Think "Smith". My brother's... one...two...three... second wife was a Gionet from Tide Head. The Acadian coast is crawling with them. Honestly, I'd contact someone in Fredericton and tell them where you live and what you are looking for. That will explain the language barrier, and might give you some headway. The genological sites are not that well developed, I'm afraid. I'll PM you a couple of contacts for the Mi'kmaq.

EDIT (completely and utterly OT) The insanity of my day is lost on my husband, so I'll share with all of you. I'm sure housewives have a certain..ah.. myth about them. Getting everyone up, making breakfast, talking about the day ahead. In my case, getting them at their studies while I clean the house. The reality is slighly different. The kids are in the living room, still in pj's, playing a Harry Potter game (based on Clue) with each other and their various dolls/stuffed animals, and singing the song that goes with the attached Youtube video. (I know, against all conventional 'wisdom', not only do I allow my children to watch GH, I allow them unsensored access to Youtube... terrible me). They have already discussed why South America looks like Africa, Ruah and Shiloh are arguing over Latin quotations as I write, Rusty is acting possessed (which is normal, I assure you), and and Zion is putting "z" everywhere he can - now ASK me why I have an entire wall in my home painted with chalkboard paint!! As for Mama, I had vino for breakfast - which DOES go with rice cakes, incidently. And for your viewing pleasure... Harry Potter Puppets: What's that Mysterious Noise?

The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
Evening, all.. We've had a crazy Sunday here, but now the kids are in bed and I'm on my second very large glass of wine. Seems nothing here is different: - still complaining about the hair - still complaining about that black jacket - still complaining about the lack of spoilers - still complaining about the lack of LuNacy - still assuming Jane plays on whichever 'team' we're on - still awaiting Lainey's fic Did I miss anything?

Hi everyone. I'm just checking in. My family and I spent the day bobbing around TO. We checked out the new airport, spent time in a sporting good store - the older three were rock climbing in that store then the four were playing in the tents for awhile. Then we went to see where Ruah's sailing camp will be this summer - had a near miss with about 30 Canadian Geese, went to a winery and now we've just ordered pizza. It will be a slow evening here tonight... long time since we've had this kind of family day without someone running in a different direction. As for TQ, I suspect we'll see her this week. I think she's simply not around because of TG's surgery. I have the feeling that took everyone by surprise, because the spoilers were mentioning them and then everything stalled. Don't know if we'll ever hear the reason, but he obviously did a number on that knee. And Tracy being homeless and penniless, has no one to play off of but Luke and a little of Monica.

We bow to your superior knowledge in all things fabric, Ms. Q. So... only a 7 year old can think this way... now that the emotional and physical shock has worn off, he comes up to me... "Mom, I think I got something from that shock, 'cause I have a lot more energy and I can keep running fast." I ask you... where's a 2X4 when you need one???
-
The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
LOL Lainey's gonna luv talking to you ! EDIT Oh, and while the word Mom is being bantied around - my 7 year old shoved a metal spring into an electrical socket today creating sparks and a shock. I thought he would be too old for that particular brand of stupidity, but I guess not. Daddy... the FEDERAL HEALTH AND SAFETY OFFICER... is gonna have a talking to one little boy. (Oh, I'm glad my reaction time is slow to my kid's accidents - there's a reason I don't have a single grey hair, I guess)
-
The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
Okay... purple...sweats...hoodies....no make-up...cargo pant. I gotta tell you, this is a MOM!!! EDIT Again, no TQ, but this entire week has just been one day, so they haven't exactly disappeared. Otherwise, the show was really good. If you can get into the other stories, it's worth watching. Lucky did the cop thing but got shot (knew that was coming); Liz tried to save Sam; Joe the bomber held his infant daughter and began to deal with his wife's death; Robin told Patrick the truth; and Spinelli and Maxie are stuck in the sewers. The company they brought in for special effects is doing a nice job.

Apparently we're waiting for a fic from you? (according to funny) I think next Wednesday has Lukey at least, that could be a sign of LuNacy.

That's Gloria Monty. EDIT Nothing new, just wanted to bump the board.

The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
That's exactly what I think, ILTQ. TG needed the surgery, so they are incorporating it (might teach his ass that he isn't 30 anymore). As for the going to work for Claudia... Luke's loyalty is to Sonny, not Jason. If Jason throws Sonny over, his loyalty will not be the same. There is respect there, to be sure, but not the same sense of responsibility. Besides, if Claudia and Jason can strike a truce, there might be something in the middle of that for Luke. The Z's don't necessarily have to be the enemy. Right now the worst 'ememies' are Trevor and Sonny's hysteria (read: emotional stupidity). As for LuNacy and Clauda - I have always noticed similarties between Tracy and Claudia, and if they won't make her Tracy's daughter at least make her motherly towards her. Tracy could teach Claudia a lot about class and tact while never losing your edge. EDIT I won't restate the obvious....sigh... But I've got to tell you, the graphics around the bridge are pretty good. And Maxie slapped Lulu - deservedly, I might add. Rusty wisely looked at Diego today and pronounced "oh, he's bad guy".

That wonderful, long 10 minute day we had on Wednesday the 20th. Luke was digging through Tracy's bag and pulled out a cup of Campbell's Healthy Request. He turned the label to the camera and made a comment that that soup was supposed to be on his diet regime. *wondering if the length of that episode was to placate us with the reality that they wouldn't be on for awhile afterwards* EDIT This was on SD... Luke and Tracy get back together.. Yes, they are still married, but they make up soon. they think Monica was the H&R driver, so they work on that.
