I've read all the SOD synopses from this time. Steve was first involved with Jill. It was just as the show expanded to an hour. Bond Giedon briefly played her after Brenda Dickson left. Steve was working for Stuart at the Chronicle and pushed Jill to get her life back on track after her last involvement with Derek turned out to be a mess. Jill got hired at Jabot and the rest of history. Steve then began writing about the cult during Summer 1980 and was involved with Peggy Brooks. She left him at the altar and he was never heard again.

I know she left a few times during the first years but she is credited after Denise Alexander so she must have signed a contract in 1973 or after. Same with Peter Hansen who left and came back. I am surprised about Chris Robinson as I thought he came in 1978 replacing Michael Gregory but he is listed before Susan Brown who joined in February 1977. Any more information would be welcome.

I like Shorty too. I'm a month behind like you are. I try to know who are the actors playing Charlie, Darryl, Robin and the new guy hooking up with Ester (Zed I guess?) but I can't find anything anywhere.

I am not watching French episodes as I follow US episodes so I have already seen 2014. But I have watched for years before the Internet era. Ratings were not good and recently the show (which aired at 2pm since 1989) was moved to 11am. I know my grandmother stopped watching.

Hunter and Olivia's breakup was great. The kids are really good actors and I like all they interact with older characters like Irene, John, Marilyn. Wish US soaps would do that too. I'm surprised Zac turned down Sam's offer for sex in exchange for help for his book. Hope they won't change it. I'm still not very invested in the Morgan family.

Why is Brad paying for Jacka's mother's rent? He probably burnt down the house after Doug and Josh's deaths... Will Ned keep going and coming? Xanthe is good when she doesn't trust Brooke. Gary and Sheila should too. Hope David will turn out to be bisexual. It would open more possibilities than him just being out and in the closet.

I don't buy TK with Trina really seriously. Kylie wants him back for sure now she's off with Cam. Mo/Kate/Chris could be a very good triangle with Blue, Harry and Jack reacting to it. Don't really care about Lucy's father who is a pain. Wish Lucy would at least try to listen to Ali.

Glad to see Linda Grey on the show. Marnie really grew up to me. Lysette Anthony is so fab. Very over the top but I love it. Myra's new family members sound already irritating. Goldie will bother me soon I think. Glad Nico is finally dead. Think Cameron will be gone next after the deaths he caused and the threats he made to Celine.

We all saw this coming but I'll miss Emily. The show lost so many icons in ten years: Mike, Vera, Jack, Blanche, Betty, Deirdre, now Emily. Only Ken and Rita left. Sad. So I guess either Ken's illegitimate son or his grandson is visiting him at the hospital. I'm not common with them very much. Like Gary/Sarah/Bethany, it is classic good soap. Wish Phelan would already be out the show. He was there for too long. Do you think Yasmin will be given something to do now that Sharif left? Don't see much purpose left for her in the street. It's a shame so many characters are not given much. Would love Erica to have something meaty to do other than cuddle with Dev.

I agree with you about Paddy/Zak but when Ashley is gone, the show will definitely have not many vets left especially as Eric is so isolated. I know this is not common opinion but I don't mind the Whites. I enjoy hating them in a way. Rebecca is a great addition to the family. Kerry is so pathetic... I really don't want to see Jimmy turn to Bernice ...

I love Diane VS the Whites. Diane is in deep need for good material. I hate how some characters can wait for months to have things to do.

Loved the entrance of Rebecca with the helicopter. It was a very nice touch. She seems to be fun. Nice to balance Chrissie.

Is Angus really viewing for Elly's affection? Not sure about it. Ned keeps leaving and coming back. Enjoy the Therese/Paul/Gary triangle and love Xanthe. She is a good young character but Ben is a bit dull.

Not much love for the Aussie soap here. I mostly enjoy it. Now that Nate knows Billie's baby is not V.J.'s, wonder how the show is gonna deal with it. After all, the baby is Irene's grandchild. I wish they would give Marilyn more depth. The character is too over the top.

Hope she will be okay. Moira really gets me on the show. It is now quite sure that Ross will be somehow responsible for James' death, probably an accident while fighting over Emma and Moira. I find Priya to be really annoying. Kerry and Dan are a good pairing. Enjoy them.

Eva is not interesting at all. And I really don't care if she manipulates Liam. Glad to see Jude. Marnie / Cindy are a great duo. Ste can die for all I care. Harry could find so much better than this pathetic loser.

I can totally understand Pam's reaction. The whole kidnapping/home invasion for Grant was [!@#$%^&*] but the way Pam dealt with her grandson's death got to me. Her relationship with Honey too and yes, the scene when Johnny left for the hen party was really emotional.
