  1. I'm 100% Team Jennifuh but this left me Re: Wendy, she is definitely trying to imitate a (whispery-voiced) Jen Shah. The problem is that Jen Shah is a pale imitation of somebody else -- pre-fraud Erika Girardi -- who herself is a pale imitation of a 1950s B-movie starlet. It is Xeroxed copy on top of Xeroxed copy on top of Xeroxed copy of an actual human being, someone who pours all their effort into this OTT fake image because they don't like their real selves. It makes me sad that Wendy felt insecure about herself to this point. There was a moment in Sunday's episode where Wendy told Karen she overdid it with the Ray thing, and you know, she was right. It was a glimpse of the Wendy I would like to see more of -- she talked to Karen straight but kindly. Next week, we see the GEBs using Wendy's personality transplant to go after her, and consequently, she will be defending her marriage from a position of relative weakness. Because now they've all noticed the new Wenday. "But now we said it!" etc.
  2. OMG @Cheap21 your avatar
  3. Not Ms. DRAG ME MONIQUE and HIT ME MICHAEL DARBY preaching to Giz and Karen to let it go! She nursed her grudges against Ashley and Monique for years. (And now she's got a new one with Karen to obsess over). She never lets anything go, judging by her deliberately trying to exclude Ashley from group events. Plus it's clear from the scene between Gizelle and Ashley this episode that there is a bond built over the 6 seasons. I'm not sure the GEBs enjoy Candiace's company quite as much. And as petty and nothingburger as Karen's gripe over 'wishing death on Ray' is (it's really just for the show)... when is someone going to point out Gizelle's asinine demand that Karen apologise for 'lying' about her and Jamal? Google Maps from space can see it is a made-for-TV relationship. Gizelle thinks that if she can get Karen to apologise, it will somehow render Monique's exposure of her at reunion null and void.
  4. That part stood out the most. Wasn't Wendy her ride-or-die last year when Candiace was pulling out the pointy napkin and crying about betrayal? IMO Candiace has been angling for the role of ally to the GEBs for the past 2-3 years, ever since she spilled to Giz about Monique's Amistad comment. Last year presented her with the perfect opportunity to fully jump ship. I also have a theory that Candiace stays perpetually mad at Ashley because Ashley has had that GEB Ally role for many seasons, and she wants that spot Also: Candiace is That Girl who finds the microphone on the bus and loudly hogs it for the whole journey. I really liked Mia this episode. Her story about growing up in foster care was moving. Couldn't believe the UNMITIGATED GALL ((c) Candy Ass) of Gizelle demanding Karen apologize for 'lying' about her relationship! Where was the lie?! Karen "Are you talking to me?" 😊 @Taoboi I totally agree with you re: Wendy. She is a whole different person this season, and it is not natural. In fact, it feels like she has regressed in some way. Like this is how she feels someone on a RH show would act. Also, her new baby voice drives me nuts too. It is the vocal equivalent of a limp handshake. Next week, though... next week seems to flip a lot of what I wrote on its head!
  5. Porsha has been coddled by Bravo in recent years, expecting them to edit away the hard questions and whitewash her rep. How quickly she forgets. Back in S7-10, people were seriously asking why Porsha was still on the show. She was like the Teddi of RHOA (only with fisticuff issues and salacious rumors). She's ready to move onto bigger and better things -- I'd be interested to know what those are. Correct me if I'm wrong -- isn't Porsha's work on Dish Nation a gossip-news segment and the rest is on-air ki-ki support for male DJs? She is so closely associated with RH and its eco-system, I can't see her shaking that off easily. Porsha got lucky between S10 and now. Production on her side, plus Angry Nene shown the door, Kenya MIA some seasons, and newbies failing to make their mark. When the IRS catches up with Simon, or he replaces her with another, younger gold digger -- i bet Porsha will be more than ready to pitch Bravo her new spin-off, Porsha's Getting Divorced.
  6. Rinna jumping on the Potomac bandwagon now that it is Bravo's golden child, I see. Meanwhile, on RHOA
  7. On a scale of criminality, Jen's fraud crimes rate worse than Mary's misdemeanor (that is, until some fed starts digging into Faith Temple's finances). So #Shah-meless can have a seat. But for sure the producers must be rubbing their hands in glee at all these RL scandals dropping into their lap!
  8. I don't think we will see Bershan either. Eboni made a point of not inviting her. Yeah, it felt like Andy/WWHL wanted to definitively put the kabosh on that reunion rumor! Andy: Did you really threaten not to film the reunion, and who started the rumors? Ramona: I don't know, I kinda thought Leah did, but she told me she didn't. As far as me not doing the reunion, I would never not show up for any position I have, so, No. Fake news. Interesting that Ramona mentioned Leah. I thought it was Leah too. This week's episode was #13 so they're going to have to start thinking about filming SOON if this is, say, a 19 episode season. Like, in the next 4 weeks or so. I imagine VERY early September. So SLC will be pairing with Potomac on the same night, huh. 🤔
  9. Love me some Shane/Mr. Sheffield! Have no clue what he will do in GH's bloated cast, though.
  10. So Rinna may have (inadvertently?) let the cat out of the bag re: Erika and production: "Left on the cutting room floor." This may explain why Erika has been sloppy with her changing stories this season -- because she assumed that she could decide what would be left out and what could stay in? Fool. May also explain why BH took a little break last week. RHONY cast are so messy! This is the second time I've read a Daily Mail article about RHONY where you can read some of the quotes in Luann or Ramona's voice! DM does have a lot of RH producer sources too, and I think that the fact that no reunion date has yet been set is legit and comes from production. I also think that this article is an attempt to get the cast riled up AND the viewers interested again in the show. As you say, this could mean an explosive reunion. Andy on WWHL seems to love both Ramona and Bershan. Ramona actually wanted to ditch WWHL for a Lady Gaga concert (!), and as a result basically answered every question straight-up, like she didn't care what she said. I love that. I do think next week's RHONY episode will... not be great for her. It's the 'Black Shabbat' and I'm not sure if Bershan has been invited either.
  11. That's a takedown alright. Eboni might recognise that move from her Hoax News days! Honestly, if this article is the real Eboni... why the hell didn't we see some of this on our TV screens?? Talk about messy turncoat drama queen who only dates wealthy finance whizzes! The article made her out to be a lot more exciting and scheming than she's been letting on! I feel robbed. 😑 If this is the beginning of the de-masking of Eboni, I'd be inclined to keep her on board AND promote Bershan AND bring back Dorinda. Second season curses can sometimes be watchable. I still say RHONY this week was a good 'un. Sonja, Ramona and Luann very much dominated and they kept it to the stuff they know best -- gossip, sex talk, cabaret, money.
  12. I think this episode illustrated better than any other why getting rid of the OGs, including Ramona, would be an utterly ruinous decision. Sonja, Ramona and Luann gave us A LOT this episode and all for our benefit and entertainment. Even no-self-realisation-whatsoever Lu knew this mv was going to be a tongue-in-cheek campfest and she was ready to deliver. Ramona has an UES Park Avenue corner apartment, a manse on the right side of The Hamptons, saw Avery through private school/college, and allowed Mario to lead a life of relative leisure. Financed largely through her re-sale business that she grew from scratch. The rag trade in NY is a tough one, and she succeeded, not on the glamorous Devil Wears Prada side, but on the scrappy, counting-dimes-and-negotiating-unwanted-inventory side. She also divorced Mario quickly and cleanly. I find it interesting that of all the RHs out there, we never hear rumors about Ramona's finances or debt. I think she's got as tight rein on those. The moustache seems to be coming back in hipster circles, and fashion is all about that life, so I can see him being a Givenchy or Gucci model. It's not necessarily to my taste, but it is what it is!
  13. Shocking behaviour. Erika's reaction is outrageous and has zero basis in logic. WTF is going on with the Coven? Sitting there, cowering and silent, Dorit the blow-up doll, Rinna pathetically hiding her face, Kyle doing her usual OTT Fake-Shock look. Not saying a damn word lest Erika verbally abuse them, too? They should not be coddling this sour-mouthed bully! Makes me think back to a month or 2 ago, do you remember when TMZ 'caught' Rinna, Kyle and Dorit coming out of a restaurant and they all loudly and publicly declared that Garcelle was two-faced and fake? It was like a declaration of war on Garcelle. Now I understand why -- it stems from this moment, when Garcelle cut through the bullsh!t. She wasn't actually coming from a bad place, I don't think. However, she upset Erika's agenda by raising an inconsistency. She was asking the same thing we would in this situation. But she wasn't toeing the line, keeping quiet, complicit in enforcing the status quo and Erika's narrative. Queens of Bravo makes the point better than I can here:
  14. RHONY I watched this episode mostly with a huge smile on my face, and that was largely due to the OGs. Sonja; "What do you mean, did I sleep with him? I can barely walk today!" Ramona: "I'm a little shocked she went home with him. I'm even more shocked he went home with her." MEOW, Ramona! Luann blessing us with a few lyrics from her club classic, Chic C'est La Vie. I love when the Countess decides to shoehorn any old lyric from her musical oeuvre in place of actual meaningful advice on relationships. Leah's siblings, Bangs and Freddie Mercury. OK, unpopular opinion, but both her brother and sister seem... really nice? I liked their scene, sue me. As for Eboni and her 'sister.' I'm not sure I buy that they will stay in each other's lives. Long time no see, Gaurav. He showed up in S7 spouting a lot of empty management buzz-words at Bethenny. I think we already knew then what sort of dodgy con this guy was running. When he told Sonja that she would soon be able to afford the house she is currently unable to keep up -- and that 'Sonja Morgan Brands' was about to go "very, very bigger," my jaw dropped open. This is 2014 all over again. Sonja must know he's setting her up, right? Either that, or he is someone out of central casting that she handpicked to play the role of 'COO of my company.' Because this is batsh!t. Whatever you want to say about Ramona (and there is a lot we could say), GF was likely almost never conned in business. She grew her clothing resale company and afforded herself an amazing life. She was taking Gaurav's fake numbers and doing the math in her head! She knew her sh!t and was grilling him like meat on a stick. Sonja needs to fire these two bozos and beg Ramona to Suze Orman her ass and turn her life around financially. La Musique Video. Of course this is going to be a Hallmark Channel cheesefest. I cannot wait for the single to be released. Leah looking like she smelled something foul throughout. Like she's too cool for this. Oh, girl. This is as good as it gets. Go away and take your yappy little dog with you if you can't have fun. This has been a very Sonja-centric episode, and parts of that are bittersweet. Whether it's talking about a loveless childhood, or desperately trying to maintain the lies about her business and her love-life. I felt bad when Ramona and Luann busted her about Dylan. It's a lie, yes, but is it really hurting anyone? Lt her have this small thing! At the same time, though, is indulging her this way really helping her? I don't know. Next week looks like a complete and utter sh!tshow.
  15. LORD Truly Original (or is it Bravo) needs to stop with the cuts/edits/re-scripting/reshooting to protect the network faves. These shenanigans hurt RHOA this year! The fact that someone 'messed up' and sent out this sneak peek to the blogs makes me wonder if it was done on purpose. Somebody in the comments is also saying that the conversation with Gizelle in yellow (where she does mention the rumors) is actually promo for next week's episode.
  16. She has aligned herself strongly with him, and now she is having a tough time disentangling herself from a SL nobody believes. On screen, we are already at episode 4 and she's asking Kal what she should do about her and Jamal not seeing each other enough. You can almost see Kal's eyes dart to camera, like "what?" Episode 1 of this season, she should have said to Candiace "We grew apart. it's over" and kept it moving. Given that what we are seeing on-screen right now is still Gizelle technically 'with Jamal,' this bad tax news has now reverberated on her. I still wish Danielle had been promoted to full HW back in Siggy's crazy season. As a permanent FOH, she was in a diminished position of power re: Marge, and also Teresa who essentially used her as her acolyte. Teresa used Danielle as her proxy to attack Marge because that is where the real tension/rivalry is -- Teresa fears Marge's popularity with Bravo. The fact that Marge and Melissa are aligned probably strikes fear in Tre's heart as there really is no love lost there with Melissa. I can see why Jennifer was triggered by what she viewed as Marge 'boosting' about her affair, and by the fact that Marge called her a concubine. Honestly, I am really not feeling Marge right now. I think she's a fake and I outright resent her trying to ice the Aydins out. Teresa is not that loyal an ally and Louie is keeping her occupied, so Marge is calling the shots here. But the more of Tre's allies that got shot down, the more islanded Teresa will become. This show thrives on community and being part of a friend-circle which involves hubbies and families. I really hope this blows up in Team Wannabe's faces! Not sure about the Bravo raise for Candiace, but let's not forget, Erika Jayne was self-funding her career, and we all know what happened with that. Spread those costs, Candiace! I get it. It is easy-breezy and not in any hurry to get to the main SL too quickly and that's good. I hope the shows you enjoy stay light and happy so that you have some refuge from heavy stuff in your life. Yes, Lu apparently was shooting some kind of Christmas-themed music vid featuring Ramona, Eboni, Sonja and Leah McStankFace on yesterday's episode. Clearly, Luann wants to be the Mariah Carey of Cabaret.
  17. Oh she is no fool, and that's a compliment. But she will be embarrassed by this if/when it is brought up at reunion. Jamal's actions keep slamming her.
  18. I'm thinking anything that threatens the money is going to make Gizelle hopping mad. She values financial security, if her dating rusty ole Sherman was anything to go by! (I do think she was in love with Jamal once upon a time, though -- crazy in love). As for the Aydins... thank you for making me feel a bit better! Not because of the alleged affair -- it seems clear from this tidbit that they have put that behind them. What miffed me was the rest of the cast icing them out, as @Antoyne pointed out. First of all, I'm bummed the husbands didn't have Dr Bill's back. Bro code and all that. I also hate that [!@#$%^&*] MARGE wins again and might see off yet another HW. And one I like at that! She's been a sniper from the side while pretending to be everyone's BFF for a few seasons now. We all know she gossiped about Evan. And last season she deflected that onto Jen. I hate that my Jennifuh is the target. But you have put it beautifully. This is marital and friend-circle strife and great for the show. It is about 'judge not lest ye be judged.' It is, as you say, rooted on reality and shades of grey. If this is Jennifer getting a dose of karma... I wonder when Marge will get hers?
  19. It's def Gossip Tuesday today -- after Jamal, this time, the Aydins.
  20. Someone on Twitter said he looked like Uncle Junior of The Sopranos. I think she is serious about having a singing and acting career. But did you catch that the producer last season who offered to sign her to his label... suddenly he's not a 'good fit' for her anymore? 🤔 So she's the one paying for production on this album and, I assume, the music video (which features all the other Potomac ladies). Which is 😬 a lot of expense to take on yourself. Is Ms Dorothy financing some of this? Interesting about Candiace getting the Porsha edit to rebuild her image from being a hot-head. I am inclined to believe you on that. I don't know how successful Bravo will be, though. Porsha had this image of being 'nice' deep-down, but I'm not sure Candiace has that 'niceness.' She is scrappier. And strategic, if her throwing her lot behind the GEBs last year was anything to go by (an alliance that was already in motion even before the altercation between Monique and Candiace). I am glad you are enjoying Potomac, especially if it's a tough week! I'm the one who called it filler but that doesn't mean I didn't enjoy it! 😅 I'm hopeful that this week's RHONY will be enjoyable also! It is the filming of Luann's new Christmas mv. 😎 Chic c'est la vie! C'est bon! C'est bon! 💃🕺
  21. A Belarusian female sprinter attempted to defect yesterday at one of Tokyo's airports after her coaches tried to force her on a plane. She eventually sought asylum at the Polish embassy in Tokyo while her husband fled to the Ukraine. In the Ukraine today, the Belarusian dissident who may have helped her and her husband was found murdered in a park. 😪 https://www.theguardian.com/world/2021/aug/03/belarus-exile-group-leader-vitaly-shishov-missing-in-kyiv-police-say
  22. Askale and Mia are doing a LOT to kickstart a feud, and it's a little exhausting but also fun in its basic pettiness. Mia is messy in an entertaining way, but she bit off more than she can chew with the texting back-and-forth with Gizelle/Robyn. Maybe she was trying to impress Karen (more likely she has watched the show for years and already has her opinion of these two), but she backed herself in a corner and had to apologize to Gizelle. And when Gizelle is able to lord it over you, the newbie, who has been forced to grovel a little bit, that is not a good position to be in. I like Gizelle's daughters and their natural, untutored response to things. Gizelle is at her lightest with them. But every time she talked about her 'relationship' with Jamal, oy. Robyn had this face: and Kal had this face: . They don't believe a word of this either. Filler episode, but decent. Next week Gizelle vs Karen looks juicy. RHONY preview. I really liked this little scene. It reminded me of 'old' RHONY, from the surroundings (somebody's upholstered bedroom??), to Ramona scarfing the free snacks, to Luann in what looks like her wedding gown and Ramona in whichever-three-handkerchiefs she sewed to her swimsuit. And some juicy gossip and snootiness. Anyone who thinks firing the OGs is the way to go on RHONY is Leah's sister a dead-eyed fool. In BH news, Tom Girardi (yes, that's him) has been seen out and about. Maybe that shiner is from falling out of a car going off a cliff behind the Girardi estate.
  23. I honestly thought Kary would be participating this season. She came off well (and contrite) at reunion, and her story is going somewhere. She is also a drama queen and very childish, so good RH fodder. What TF did Kameron bring us? She listed her home, whined about a McMansion, and then showed her ass at reunion/on Twitter. I still cannot believe she got her BIL to swing his dick and try and get Tiffany fired from her job. Unconscionable! I was also hoping Claudia Jordan would become a HW. She knows how this game is played, actually lives in Dallas and would be a lot of fun. Honestly, RHOD is badly served by its under-performing production company. We can agree to disagree. 😉 I think she'd be back in a heartbeat if asked. And if what Brandi alleged at reunion is true, she really is invested as the villainess of RHOD (hence why I call her Maleficent!) and should return for that reason alone. I am glad to hear that she seems to be moving on and back to her charity work, though. Agreed. Stephanie, Brandi and Kameron contributed only the basic minimum. They were waiting for someone else to play bad guy so they could throw pot-shots from the side. I find them very sly and cowardly participants. At least D'Andra brings us good old-fashioned family money dealings! Mama Dee is pure soap. Team Pretty indeed. I think Claudia would be a HIT on RHOD. She would definitely stand up for herself.
