(The fact that Kyle goes for a working lunch with the producers to thrash out SLs and ideas before filming starts really has me side-eying). And Rinna does nothing all season until the very end when she accuses another cast member of some crime or other. Which.... I understand may be happening this year! Prediction: we will see the words "DID SHE... DIDN'T SHE SAY IT" and 'WHO DO YOU BELIEVE" in this promo alongside footage of Kathy Hilton fleeing the cameras.

You made it, baby! Did you catch Mama Elsa's (and the other OGs) words from S1-3 echoing over the gorgeous shots of Miami? I thought that was a nice bridge at the beginning. I honestly cannot wait to 'rewatch' RHOM through your posts (should you continue to watch) and see if your initial impressions change or not! I don't want to give too much away, because the beauty of this reboot is you discovering what happens yourself. However, I love the attention Peacock pays to the HWs' individual stories, the slow build. Also, I've said this before, but like RHONY, the sense of place/atmosphere is so prevalent that Miami becomes like an additional character.

In the early days, it seemed like Genoa City was a medium-sized city with business/industrial, old-school wealth. Not quite a bustling Chicago of the 1970s, but perhaps a Milwaukee without the post-industrial decline.

This really took me back! I remember getting chills watching this. Caroline Manzo's prediction may have been close to being right -- until the judge handed down a sentence on Teresa, too. These days, I tend to side-eye Caroline for standing behind her brother-in-law for his terrible assault on Dina and her current guy. That being said, I wonder what it would be like if Caroline returned to RHONJ.

Thank you. I assumed that, because she showed the Hamptons house off in a couple of interviews, it was the Hubers' primary residence. That's sweet that they lived in the town where she grew up! I believe they met in Garden City, too, when he was a chef (at the Garden City Hotel, a local landmark, if memory serves me) and she a waitress, before she landed AMC.

Larsa may be holding out for more $$$. However, she is by nature polarising and I think she really enjoys getting under other people's skin. Especially Adriana and Julia. What else does she have going on? Yes, Only Fans, but you know Larsa wants more standing in the reality world than that! Miami gives her a higher profile and I'd be shocked if she didn't continue with the show. If Larsa does peace out, it's because of two things: 1. Scottie Pippen insists she cannot do the show or show the kids, and ties that to their final settlement, or 2. the Kardashians really did make her sign an airtight NDA which forbids her from even whispering their name, or Kanye's. I'd love Lea Black back but I don't think she will.

First of all, I am loving how everybody is getting down at that party. I can't believe this is the premiere party/group event -- that means 3 months of filming ahead. I would love if Katie came back to the cast! So I guess this means a fall start date for S6? Secondly, the Miami women look stunning in those shots. And by God, 👑 Alexia better be back! Peacock knows better! She carried the show last season.

@Soaplovers @DaytimeFan Kyle looked a lot like Demi Moore in the first 6-7 seasons of the show. She'd had a decent nose job prior to the show, but mostly it was waxing her eyebrows and taking care of herself which preserved her youthful looks. As @Soaplovers suggests, when The Agency money began rolling in, Kyle felt that she 'had' to do more expensive stuff to her face. For me, the tipping point was when she fixed her teeth which never really needed fixing. She now looks like she wears dentures. She has also shaved down her chin and keeps messing with a perfectly good nose-job, when she should have left well enough alone.

The answer is always Melbourne!! And maybe Vancouver and Sydney next (I'd go for Vancouver). Cannot speak on Durban or Johannesburg. So excited for Potomac filming with ALL the women, past and present. Even Cha Cha! In other news.... Kyle is 2-3 faces away from morphing into LVP... and her master plan will finally be complete!

The music and looks are definitely giving me wealthy Dubai vibes. I love when the do these little pre-drops, a smart way to whet our appetites. Remember those promos like the Bravolympics? Or the RH winter wonderland? I loved those, but I'm guessing the budget doesn't extend to that anymore. Caroline was already hitting the botox and lip filler on Ladies of London, but it was relatively subtle. Here? Too much lip filler. Also they put her in shades... why? No-one else is wearing them. This is how I felt watching the RHOA trailer. If Cynthia were there, it would add an additional dramatic component re: Kenya, and her hurt -- and where would Kandi stand on that? Because Kandi and Cynthia are also close. When I saw Drew, I thought it was Porsha for a hot second. It sort of made me miss Porsha's presence?? I can't believe I'm saying this because production's favoritism last year hurt the show IMO. Plus the backlash to that set up The Fall of Porsha in her spin-off. Jury's still out on Drew for me. Lately I've been missing Nene. SLC imploded, OC is not sure where it is heading, and production favoritism is starting to hurt NJ again, so I've been craving old school RH recently. I have been watching NJ, but I am feeling slightly dispirited with my HWs, which is why OC kind of... lapsed. The ATL trailer is put together messily, but it does seem like there is drama. I feel like Sheree's return was a good move. Boy, Drew worked real hard to make that 'lapdog' tag super-literal. There is an evil rumor that All Stars 2 would be coming back after the summer??

Very insightful reasoning and I could def see these reasons and the build-up being triggers for WS. I think Will and Jada also have a platform -- the Red Table Talks -- on which to discuss this in depth, apologize and get to a better place. They could have Chris and Will during the first hour, apologies being made, a breakdown of why Will reacted like he did, Chris discussing why he went with the joke and how he felt. The second hour, Jada, maybe with Denzel, joins them. I say Denzel, because he is clearly the one who understood the ramifications and went to talk to both Will and Jada.

Thank you for your replies. As soon as i posted my question, I went back and watched Chris's shocked reaction as he was left alone on the stage in silence and tried to move things gamely along. It was clear from that and from Will shouting from his seat that this was definitely NOT in the script.

Will Smith seems to be one of those people who takes things quite literally and maybe doesn't have much sense of humor about himself anymore. I can understand him being protective of Jada's feelings, but this was shockingly unexpected from him. I too wonder if he isn't struggling with some things at the moment because he isn't known for being angry and aggressive IRL, is he? On the other hand... do you think this was in some way staged to bring more eyeballs to the Oscars? Yes, I know that is cynical, but so is Hollywood. These award shows have been sinking into irrelevancy and shedding audience like crazy for years.

Her snarling, inexplicable hatred for Alex and obsessive gaslighting (preventing her from speaking numerous times) is lowkey stressful to re-watch. I'm not even going to touch on the chemically-imbalanced crazy, or delusions of her own 'stardom'. I'd rather check out if Cindy Barshop and the vajazzle spas have moved into lasering! Would love to see Jules back. Gone too soon IMO, and she had more story to tell, but Bethenny wanted her and Luann out after S8; Bravo didn't want to get rid of Lu, so Jules was dropped to appease the Beast. Speaking of Lu, and this might interest @DaytimeFan from a financial POV -- apparently Luann is not doing the Legacy show. She got a spinoff with E! when things were so uncertain with RHONY. Rumor has it she was not pleased about being moved from the mothership and lowballed on the salaries. Some unsubstantiated accounts suggest the OGs are being offered $100K for RHONY: Legacy. I don't know if that's per episode or one sum for the whole season, but it is lower than they were getting on RHONY proper. (I'd still snap up the $$ if it was me, though. 3 months work for what many earn in a year).

Maybe they delayed because they were filming Karen's Succession spin-off. Which may say a lot about Karen's contribution to the RHOP ensemble. Production might have wanted her available, present and focused on the mothership.
