Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
It sort of won me over a little. Even though I am not a fan of Tamra. I fully recognize that this tidbit was trotted out to soften Tamra's hard edges and make her appear sympathetic. That doesn't mean it isn't any less true. Her line about being drawn to people like Vicki who "don't ask questions" (I would add "and push me around" -- Vicki, as DF rightly points out, IS the OC but she very much acts like Tamra's older sister, goading her oftentimes into saying and doing [!@#$%^&*], then turning around to accuse her "Why did you say that? Why did you do that?") was pretty breath-taking in its self-awareness -- for Tamra.

I like the OC, too, and thought last night was a pretty involving episode (unlike NJ which was the same [!@#$%^&*], different day). I also don't mind Lydia although Nothin'ButAttitude calling her Bucky Beaver literally made me Gretchen's unejakayted ass gets on my wick too but I have to say I was more on her side than anybody else's in last night's episode. Vicki shouldn't have dumped half the group when everybody was (pretty much) getting along. That was some active mean-girling and way to make two people feel unwanted and wasting their time. OMG, so much WORD. And Tamra is eating up all the attention with a spoon. Turning on the drama school waterworks with Gretchen and playing her against Vicki the whole time. And earlier throwing over her BFF all for a couple of tequilas and a pole dance on the bar. Alexis looked like a Fraggle Rock character going to that restaurant in (what I can only describe as) that weird fur-chubby cropped jacket. Also, I hate these fake-ass scenes they have with her and "nice" Jim. They have been so obviously scripted by their new PR people. One thing I wish I could replay again and again: Heather telling the drunken twits who knocked on her door at 3am to 'say sowwy,' "coming in with these sparkly ears is not making me feel better." I love that she was sitting up in bed in what looked like BLACK SATIN pajamas when she said this. Heather is so boss.

LOL, I forgot about that "fashion industry" comment. I was rolling. Next, Alexis will be telling us that Alexis Couture shows in Paris.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
So much to discuss on here... -Jesus, Kim must be the most fertile woman on the planet. Kroy's seed really hits the bullseye every time. You think she got pregnant for her show? Or was it another two-weeks-after-giving-birth accident? -I can see Shaw wanting to retool RHoV completely with a brand new cast. RHoV was a big ratings winner for Slice. It was so sad the way the show in last incarnation just threw up and died a gurgling, seizured death, and I really hope that Ronnie gets some help for some of the addiction and mental issues with which she is clearly wrestling. Jodi and Amanda can go crawl under a rock for all I care. -RHoOC -- I can see both Gretchen and Vicki's side of things and why each dislikes the other. Now, regarding the restaurant, the women should have known that if Heather recommended it, it is not going to be their local Chipotle Grill. They sure dressed up for the occasion, but they acted low classy and ignorant. I get that the place may have been more appropriate for Date Night but once you are there, you just have to go with it. If I were Heather, I would have been mortified by people's comments (asking for salsa and chips, for the love of God, Lydia!) and bored, eye-rolly reactions.

I love it when the OC ladies go on vacation because they TRULY go on vacay and let the Trashy come out to play (even though Tamra wants to pretend she doesn't do that anymore). I thought Gretchen's reaction shots to Vicki's (relatively) innocent calls to go to Andalay for a booze-a-thon hilarious. And she and Heather were rightly pissed off about being left behind by Vicki, Tamra and Lydia. The thing that bothered were the ill-mannered, at times willfully ignorant comments at the restaurant. Yes, folks, Mexico does have fancy restaurants and not just burrito stands. No, Lydia, they do not have chips and salsa as a starter. Gretchen's comments about the shrimp looking suspicious... well, ok, they could have looked dodgy. But I'm also betting that Gretchen would never be so particular with her food if she were at a typical Mexican eatery with enchiladas, Corona and a mariachi band. If she once had a bad reaction with shrimp back in the day, well, then she should not order them. I had a bad reaction to oysters once, I can't even look at them today. Looking forward to the fallout next week.

I wish it was just a case of being ignorant to her husband's worst excesses, but Teresa knows exactly who she is dealing with with Joe Giudice. She may not have overheard that damning phone call he made in Napa last year, but she suspected something was up. So what does she do? Noisily mounts him in the vineyards in full view of their friends and family! Andy played the segment again at Reunion so that there would be no misunderstanding in Teresa's mind about what her devoted hubby said about her and what he was orgasma-grunting about, and she just put her arm through Joe's and said that it cost him some diamonds. Their marriage is one of the big mysteries of RHoNJ to me. Teresa fronts like there is no tomorrow. For some reason, she cannot bear to think that the world knows that her life isn't picture-perfect. She'd rather be stuck in an unhappy marriage to this drunk thug (who openly disparages her) than alone. Perhaps her parents are against divorce for religious/cultural reasons, but I think it is more a case of "bella figura" -- look good at all costs and pretend everything is wonderful. I also think Joe is her first love and she still can't get him out of her system.

Uh oh, I'm getting sucked back into the abyss! The abyss of Tropical Tans (*side-eyes Teresa, Melissa and the two Joes*), sparkly body oil (the two Mrs. Gs again), unwanted maternal advice about [!@#$%^&*] I already knew (Caroline), crazy plastic surgery (Jacqueline), bankruptcy (everybody) and toxicity (ditto). Teresa... sigh. I have always sympathized with Teresa in spite of myself. She is more sinned against than sinning. However, I have to say this. Teresa looked old in yesterday's premiere. Part of it must be the stress of this family feud, living with Jow Giudice and covering up his affairs, Hurricane Sandy and fronting, fronting, fronting like everything is fabulicious. However, she also needs to quit it with the tanning beds because they are not doing her skin any favors. She is looking better in the VTs, though. Last year's middle-parting gorilla look was atrocious. Melissa wants to be all things to all people. Friends with Caroline then dissing Caroline for getting involved with The Feud. wanting to get 'the girls' together then putting an end to it early. Yeah, that's not a book I'm interested in reading, Melissa. I wish Danielle Staub was back on the show. SO much. Gia and Milania need to become the sixth and seventh HWs on this show. That's how much I love them. I don't necessarily buy that Milania misses Antonia and whatstheirnames that much, but I appreciate the sentiment she is expressing and can't wait for Milania to do her Melissa-on-a-pole impression.

I like the OC show a lot but I am ready for another HW show to be alongside it. Can't believe I am saying this but bring on RHoNJ! Does it start this Sunday? And when is Miami back? July?

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
So... I am enjoying RHoOC, but it needs to step up into second gear right about now. Good scenes with Tamra and her mom, I guess the point of those scenes was to paint Tamra in a better light... but that doesn't mean that everything she said about herself wasn't the truth. Brooks is so slimey and shady, blech. Re RHoNY. I enjoy LuAnn sometimes so I'm glad she is returning. I wouldn't mind Jill returning for a little while, if only because her shadow looms so large over the current NY cast, and because after reading this thread, I am reminded how that toxic witch needs to be called out once and for all. The way she treated Bethenny was especially awful.

Uh Slade. Giving a Bentley with a shitload of car payments to be made on it is not a "gift." OC haters to the left! This last episode may have been mostly filler but it's still more interesting than half of RHoA this season, and all of RHONJ last season!

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
So glad you llve RHOM. Wish juniorz was here, Miami is his favourite. It took me a while to warm up to Adriana but now I like her. I am still o the fence about Lea. Joanna, Lisa and Karent were my favourite friendship last year. I know Alexia is horrendous but she makes stuff happen on the show so I want her back az a HW. Mama Elsa is love. Marysol and Ana are irrelevant. And Romain is SO FINE! And despite his transgression, a pretty decent guy.

I really like that Nene interview -- especially how gentle Andy is with her. He teases her but you can tell he just loves her. And it needs to be said -- Nene's style transformation has been off-the-scale amazing. She looks sleek, stylish and expensive. Her clothes never look trashy or ill-fitting or unbecoming. Her hair is amazing -- like a blond Josephine Baker's 1920s marcel wave. She looks like a sleek blonde panther. And her ring and silvery shoes! OMG. I feel like Nene still looks up to Kim, and that's why she can entertain the possibility of they being friends again. With Sheree, she's lost any respect she had for her and that's why she can't ever go back there again.

OMG! Angry Chuckie! Re: RHoNY -- What Bravo could do is agree on performance-related bonuses. If this season reaches a certain height in the ratings then Bravo could agree to pay over and above what their currently agreed salaries are. I personally loved last season's NY, Heather is my girl! I even enjoy that crazy uptight Aviva. As far as having people return, I really don't miss Alex that much, although I like her and agree that she took the fall for Jill, Kelly and Cindy's nastiness. I only want Jill to return if Bethenny was coming back, too.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
The Nene disdain of Lisa makes me sad. Because if Nene ever came onto RHoBH (yes, I keep hoping for a guest appearance), I would lose respect for her if Kyle used her as her new attack dog now that Faye has been sent back to her kennel. Dang, Faye. I still want her back next season! RHoOC: OK, so Lydia is growing on me. She seems very upfront and genuine in her emotions -- what you see is what you get -- and expresses herself without a lot of self-justification and double-talk. *side-eye to Alexis and, yes, Vicki* Bringing her mom on and explaining her hippie life growing up really made sense -- Lydia is quirky but she also has a great need to conform (i.e.: be friends with all the HWs) and stability in her life (marriage, kids, religion). I am not hating this girl. Vicki's reasons for not having Brooks in her life and then going on a date with him -- WTF ever. This makes no sense. Vicki wants to have her cake and eat it, too. In a way, Brooks is right: she has to make a choice one way or another and just stick with it. She can't just say "I'm in love with you" and sit back and expect Mr. Toupée to make it all better. Having said that, Southern Fried Chicken is the Shadiest Shady that ever Shadied. OF COURSE he has been "seeing" other women -- even though "doesn't want to." And did you catch all that smooth manipulation as he drove the wedge between Vicki and Ryan/Brianna even further? He was practically having her choose between them and him, or as he termed it, them and "your happiness." No wonder Ryan does not want him in the house. The argument between Terry and Heather felt contrived. I sort of felt bad for her when Terry teased her in front of the kids but it was petty to keep the argument going and refuse his apology. Heather is coming off as such a humorless bitch right now -- and I really like her when she's with the women. I can't believe a good-looking woman like Alexis is married to a guy who looks like Jim.

I don't care for Rosie mjch because I think she's a famewhore like her sister. .. then again, who isn't on this show? Thrilled that my fave Milania is back to throw shade on everybody, and if Danielle came back, it would be the cherry on top.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Well, damn. The irony is -- I think Porsha was on her way out until her epic "As God is mah witness" speech at the end of Reunion. And then she was back on the cast list. The divorce was the cherry on top for Bravo. Interesting that the source also claims that Nene's divorce from Greg was fake; I was inclined to believe it was real (they at the very least were separated).

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
OMG! I thought she said "inner boner" LOL. I was, like, 'uh, I like Mexican food too, but...' Tamra... sigh. TBH, maybe she heard this growing up in the trailer park but never clocked that it was an actual nasty racial slur. Having said that, she's always had a slightly superior (but really inferior) attitude towards Eddie. Like, I think Tamra has deep-seated self-esteem issues. She finally found a good guy who is soft-spoken, attentive to her, not threatened by her success (unlike her verbally abusive ex) -- and I think she periodically tries to sabotage that. Maybe she thinks she isn't worthy of having landed a nice guy... or maybe she can't quite believe it's true and that he's going to marry her. So she pulls out the slurs, the nasty comments. Maybe to test him, maybe just to lord it over him. Just my take on it. Not excusing her behaviour at all, just loking for reasons why she would say it. And if Bravo left it in to this week's episode, it's because they must have been taken aback that she threw out such a word. I hope and trust that it provokes a lot of comment and triggers an apology from her.

I watched the episode and must have missed it. What did she say? I really, really like Vicki interacting with her extended family. I'm not sure what to make of her SIL Ryan. Cameras and a security fence? Unless Vicki is jumping on that as an excuse in order to get her brother on hers and Brooks' side. Brooks is SO sketchy. I totally believe Ryan's story about his trip with him to Mexico.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
When Alexis showed up and went straight up to Tamra and congratulated her and said she was there to support her, I kind of felt proud of Alexis. It seemed like she was trying to make amends, and that's why I defended her in my earlier post. She talked about how Tamra showed her and Vicki the plans for the gym and how it meant a lot to her... BUT then she opened her mouth and had to make it all about her and her "couture" line. It was, like, girl, stop. Just be modest and let Tamra have her moment in the sun. The other women were not in the mood to hear Alexis fall back into her fake "I am a businesswoman, too, you guys!" talk. It's like she can't help herself trying to one-up another person. If she had apologized about threatening to sue, that might have made helped. Alexis was Mean-Girled at Tamra's event, for sure, and has been Mean-Girled by Tamra for years, but it was her place to extend the hand of friendship. All she sees is the meanness done to her, rather than the underlying reasons for that meanness. If she came to terms with that, then maybe she would accept a modicum of responsibility. And by doing that, she would show that she is trying to become a better human being. Instead she just plays victim and hides behind her 'Crishtianity.'

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Heather is love. But while Alexis is definitely wearing out the B word every five seconds, I can kind of understand her hurt. Should she have come to Tamra's dinner party in a warehouse gym opening? Absolutely not. Tamra should have put her foot down and said NO from the beginning. But Tamra, Heather and Gretchen were mean-girling Alexis the entire time, rolling their eyes, not even looking at her while they were talking to her. If that's not some HS sh!t, I don't know what is. Alexis is still hurt that Gretchen moved on from her to become BFFs with Tamra, and that's a sentiment I think many of us have experienced at one time or another. The ironic thing is that Gretch is equally as insecure about the role Vicki has in Tamra's life as her former BFF as Alexis does about Tamra and Gretchen. I do think Heather was AWESOME in saying that people do not go on medication for Alexis's rich-girl problems. And this was the first time that Slade did not bug me. You could see on his face the worry he had for his son, and Gretchen tearing up talking about it was genuine, too. I felt bad for him.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Hell YES to this. Truthfully, I feel like Bravo is waiting for her to fall off the wagon for "entertainment" purposes. And this poor, haunted woman needs to be left in peace to work on her sobriety. However, I believe Kyle makes it a contractual assurance that her sister stays on the Bravo payroll, so trust that we will have lots more hand-tossing salads and Kyle crying over her sister. I also think that Kim is keen to stay on RHoBH. She was a big child star once and I don't think she ever quite got over not making the difficult transition to adult stardom. This makes up for that a little bit. REAL Camille would be an awesome (re)addition!

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I wish Lisa Rinna would join -- I love her crazy ass and Andy loves her, too. I'm surprised the show hasn't asked Paris Hilton who is dying for a spot. I'm guessing those Vegas openings are drying up and her coke dealer won't return her calls until she promises to pay cash up front.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I am beyond thrilled that Duchess Yolanda is back! I was worried because at Reunion Andy seemed very cool with her, and Kyle and Kim really did a number on her character, trying to tear up the Lisa/Brandi/Yol triumverate. Even on this Monday's WWHL with Camille, Andy was asking Camille ("one of my favorite HWs" as he called her) what she thought about Yolanda and it seemed like he was toying with whether to keep her on. Luckily, Camille kept it diplomatic and relatively decent re: the Duchess. Phew! Maybe Camille should come back, too. IA with DaytimeFan (wouldn't be the first time) about TayShana. Is she a hot drunken mess, a grifter with a questionable lip augmentation? Yes, undoubtedly. But sometimes grifters are needed amid the glamour and wealth. TayShady will also do anything to stay within the BH zip code and also brings the drama when it counts. I thought she read Adrienne perfectly at Lisa's tea party this season. In some ways, she took over Camille's truth-telling duties from Season 2.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Briana's words stating why she doesn't like Brooks, the way he talks to her, the things he says about her mother behind her back and how that is a sign of a poor character were GLORIOUS. I love Briana's common sense and no-mess attitude and while I get why Andy wants "glamorous" HWs holding that orange, I wish Briana was a full housewife. We've seen her grow up and become a nurse and struggle with serious illness and make her own decisions. She is one of the few people appearing on these RH franchises that I seriously respect and for that reason alone, I would love to see her every week setting the world to rights with a few succinct, matter-of-fact words. In addition, it would put Vicki and tamra in their respective places somewhat because both know she's the real deal and are a little afraid of going against her. Loved Heather and the Dubrow family getting all gussied up to go to temple (everybody else at temple seemed very low-key) and taking the elevator down, like, one floor to the garage in their Super Mansion. However, Heather seems to be taking every little thing way too seriously at the moment and Terry doesn't seem that easy-going anymore about the nagging. I feel a bit bad for Vicki when she's talking to Tamra in a very subdued fashion. I think the RL backlash against her and Brooks surprised her and hit her hard. She needs to stop wining about how the world doesn't want her to be happy, though. Either stay with Brooks and suck up the fallout or get rid of him once and for all and be seen as the "strong woman rebuilding herself" she keeps saying she is. She can't have it both ways. And yeah Nothin'ButAttitude, I find her thick jaw distracting, too. Don't hate me but I am really not minding Alexis much so far this season, and Tamra physically tossing her out of her chair in the previews seems way OTT, even for Tamra. OK, Lydia's teeth are... offputting. When she was playing with her kids Stirling and Maverick (!!! WTF with that name? Who is crushing on Tom Cruise in that marriage, hmmm?), she looked like a 15-year old child bride. Having said that, there is something in her goofiness which I quite like.
