OMG LOL Yes, I saw a few posts about that on One Hallyu but nothing concrete at all. This fandom, god bless it, feeds on itself and tends to get extremely negative very quickly. When Lu Han left last week, it was a feeding frenzy. Same with Jessica (I *still* need somebody to show me that this girl has an actual personality btw). I'll believe it when I see it, but tbh YG aren't SM and will most likely try to keep Dara, Bom and Minzy on side... IF this rumor is true. And anyway, all four ladies still need 2NE1. Even CL (though she could go it alone and still be a hit). YG are also very good about letting individuals take time to do their thing (prime example: all of Big Bang) so maybe they will give Dara and Minzy other opportunities to strut their stuff. The only person I am worried about is Bom, as I haven't really seen much of her since 'Druggate" a few months back. Even though Bom was basically absolved of any wrongdoing, some fans still harp on about "no smoke without fire." If she was a guy, I think fans would have been less hard on her (like they were with G Dragon "Oh, that silly G-D. Again.") What would be really nice, of course, is if YG tests the waters with CL and her English tracks and then pushes 2NE1 as a whole in English. After all, Bom speaks flawless English too.

It is sad but I am going to support EXO anyway. I mean, if D.O. or Kai ever left, I'd probably have my faith in the group severely tested, as one is the Voice of EXO and the other is the Face and Lead Dancer. But I hope they continue making beautiful music together and start promoting as one group. Right now, they seem to be promoting this EXO-L business (which is tied up with their new website or something) but I think EXO-X sounds better. X being the roman numeral for 10 (v smart Cheap) although some negative nellie might say X = to cut. I know, what happened this fall? It's like everything went into meltdown (including my workload. Including the world economy. Including Ebola! etc). I think part of it is the K Pop fans, both in Korea and around the world, went back to school/work in September. In summer, even though I was working, I was more receptive to new music and keeping up with everything. The problem is, while I was more receptive, a lot of my favourite groups didn't have new stuff going on, or they were on summer concert tours in Japan. That's why Taemin's single did so well -- everybody was so excited that something new was coming out from SM. K Pop is going to have to rethink that scheduling if they want to keep their newer and younger fans. Like the 2PM single should have been released in June/July. It SCREAMED crazy summer jam. Instead, it came out in September and everybody was already looking ahead to fall. Don't know what happened with BtoB but I suspect a crowded September market meant that they were left behind, too. Meanwhile, SM continues to play hardball with its talent and consequently 5 are already out the door within the space of 6 months. That is crazy and SM need to get it together, they have already lost millions off the value of their shares, and they need that to access financing and pay for the songwriters, producers, choreographers, plastic surgeons, stylists, managers and talent! Seungri was in a car accident where the car he was driving flipped over. It was the middle of the night but police say he wasn't drunk, so it was probably tiredness or he was just speeding. He actually walked away from the scene and they thought he had minor injuries, but more recently he has had to go back into hospital with a high fever. They say he is ok, so hopefully this is just part of his recuperation. Well, it's official. Lu Han is gone. And not in the "amicable parting/health reasons" way that I had hoped. He ended up filing a contract dissolution lawsuit and is being repped by Kris's lawyer. It does look a lot like Beast's previous concept! I think it is the same sepia tones as their old pictures when they were in that junkyard wearing wide-brim hats, shorts and opera blouses. And the sandy/gritty background. The clothes here suit them better personality-wise though (check out Yoseob the dandy with his sharp slacks, lol), although that damn hat made a return and even changed heads a few times. Like, the hat suits Hyunseung but not so much Dongwoon. That's a cute song for the Japanese market. Wow, Japan really loves Beast, 2PM and SHINee it seems. These three groups are always releasing Japanese tracks or mini-albums. I hope I am wrong about BigBang too. Maybe they just need more time. After all, it took a long time for Taeyang to release Rise, and that was a mini. Quality over quantity! BTW Cheap, is it safe to check out GH right now? Judging by your avatar/sig, Sam and Patrick look hot (though I could have told GH that years ago. Both actors always had a lot of chemistry around each other).

My feeling is that Big Bang do not want to do any new material, nor do they want to do any promotion for that new material. They just want to do their own thing which, individually, is quite different and far-ranging. Plus one of them is laid up in hospital! And yet neither they nor YG dare disband the group because they need to ride on BigBang's coattails to sell their individual projects. I love her with dark hair. I think the first time I ever encountered CL was thanks to you, and you posted a MV where for the purpose of that vid, she had colored her hair dark brown. Even though blonde is her signature and suits her so well (in a Marilyn Monroe kind of way), I have a soft spot for the dark and wouldn't mind seeing her rock it for a while. Kind of like I wish Gwen Stefani would try out black hair again. Cheap, I'm sorry for not having come on here last week but I was tied up with doctor's visits and everything kind of snowballed from there. I'm fine btw but I was super-pressed at the time. There was lots of footage of them napping together and while I totally feel ya, Idols, in catching up on your beauty sleep, Must See TV this ain't. By contrast, EXO Showtime looked like an episode of How to Get Away With Murder. Speaking of my favourite group, now that Jessica has up and quit/got fired, the rumor mill is in overdrive about... Lu Han possibly up and quitting EXO! He was not at SMTown Tokyo with the rest of EXO, and Chinese fans are saying that he wants to buy out of his contract because he is so ill with migraines etc. While I could totally see SM giving Lu Han a health hiatus until well into next year, I don't like to think that another Chinaline member might be leaving. And Lu Han seems a pretty decent guy and popular amongst the other members. Ironically, EXO didn't look all that shell-shocked or devastated at this Tokyo concert so I have to wonder how true these rumors are. Meanwhile, people are suggesting that 2PM did not do so well with Go Crazy and I'm like, wut? I loved that song so much! Well, if they are in Japan now, hopefully they are killing it over there and making a mint. I have yet to listen to BtoB but I want to! Soon. OK -- I really like the Beast teaser! (lol i kid, i kid!) IA, it was the balance between fun and conflict that made this season stellar. It wasn't relentlessly dreary and mean. I hope they got the ratings to reflect that because hard-working little OC deserves the love.

I'll own it. Sometimes there are characters you just love to hate, and I fully admit Tamra works that role with me (and even Vicki sometimes). In a way, Kyle is like that for me, too (can't believe I admit it because I despise her, but I sort of need her around to hate on and make fun of).

Tamra needs to stay. And I say this as someone who can't stand her ass. She is the master puppeteer on that show. Look at the way she dealt with those women at Reunion. Only Vicki bested her with that AMAZING monologue. Vicki and/versus Tamra is still where it's at. And Tamra vs Shannon is a pretty close second.

Same. I love Lisa and stan for her, but a lot of the issues the ladies had with her last year were valid. Indeed, this is why I dislike Kyle so much -- I felt her issue was just a retread of the previous season's non-issue and an excuse to play the Poor, Put-Upon Victim which, as we all know, is Kyle's favourite role. I could also see Lisa's side of things with her work and VPR and DWTS, she just wasn't as available to the show in person and emotionally. Things were going a new direction for her and while I don't think she feels she has outgrown the show, I do think she has outgrown the women in it. The stuff about the tabloids we don't know (I think she said it but jokingly), and I don't think she favoured Scheana, a babyish girl and her employee, over Brandi who was probably her closest friend on the show. The problem was the way the women went about it. Bitching on the VTs but never confronting Lisa until Puerto Rico. One thing I will give Brandi credit for is that she tried to talk with Lisa about stuff right away, but Lisa dismissed it and then Brandi got angry and lashed out. And she started bringing up the Scheana thing like it was Season 2 again. Even though in Season 3 she agreed to film with Scheana. Not saying Brandi didn't have a right to feel hurt, but when the excuse at Reunion became "when I get angry, I lash out," that's not an excuse. That's just an explanation. And it prevents Brandi from wising up and becoming more emotionally mature because "that's just the way I am." The drinking and prescription drug use adds to that and makes her come across as unstable. Yolanda seemed to be lapping up the tension with Lisa like a cat with cream. In some of her VTs she looked positively glowing with self-righteousness. Again, what she was saying sounded well-thought out and logical, but the way she was saying it and going about it clashed with and ultimately eroded her point.

GOD I loved Yolanda her first season on the show. But the blatant way she came after Lisa last season -- not saying she didn't have a right to air her issues, but the way she went about it, bitching behind her back, setting up people against her really made me take Lisa's side all the more. I was so disappointed in Yolanda because I thought she was the one HW who would walk the walk after talking the talk. You know, don't talk behind people's back, say it to their face, don't bullshit etc. She took a whole season to confront Lisa and then when it wasn't working her way, she went after Ken for "shoving" her. Should a man manhandle a woman? Absolutely never. But Yolanda took something innocuous and blew it up into near-abuse -- and then backtracked at Reunion, insisting that Ken apologize to her -- but only for calling her stupid. Cover that ass, Yol.

"Ooooooo. Angry Spice" pretty much sums up the giant FAIL that is Kyle's 'humor.' I still criiiiiinge at her smug-ass smirk at the end. Kyle runs around thinking she is Scarlett O'Self-Deprecating and that BH is her own personal Gone With the Wind.

Queen Eileen is aloof as all fabulous queens should be. Kim better start genuflecting at her feet because Eileen has given her a crumb of potential purpose on this show by vaguely acknowledging her itchy-and-scratchy-voiced existence. Please let ED not care what a toss for audience reaction and just be as elegantly bitchy as possible. Lord knows poor Lisa can't carry the show all by her lonesome (and before anybody says anything -- no, nobody is watching the show for Kyle "See?! See how funny I am?!" Richards).

BtOB released their teaser for new song You're So Fly: And CL for Vanity Fair Italia. MUCH better. Pink really suits CL. I love her mole near her lower lip!

Kai has a solo stage during The Lost Planet tour which is zombie-like and out of left field. The concept is sort of performance theatre/modern dance-y. At the end of it, he falls to his knees and does the "tired puppet" thing -- and then it launches straight into Overdose. I still maintain he looks hot (the arms and ripped jeans alone) but, yeah, XOXO this ain't.

Wait a minute.. this isn't Dongwoon, is it?! Because either he had some work done this summer (MAJOR work -- where did his nose go?!). Or somebody went cray cray with Photoshop. He looks like a completely different person. Changsub's fried pudding bowl is seriously awful. Even Kai's fried Einstein hair looked better than that! 2PM's choreography is really good. I love that they are releasing multi-lingual singles, too. Get that yen boys! In CL news, she is also in Korea's Harpers Bazaar this month. You would think that such a high-end magazie would make her look fabulous. On the contrary, she looks awful and they smeared vaseline on her face so it looks greasy. I was just coming on here to post the ELLE shoot! This is my favorite picture: I don't think I have ever seen CL so gorgeous tbh. Apparently she is the youngest person ever to appear on an ELLE Korea cover, and the first musician. It looks like it is selling well, too. Bye BTOB! I guess you love em then you leave em, Cheap! And TOP is involved in an acting career apparently?! In EXO news. they just finished an extensive run of The Lost Planet concerts with two in Beijing. It was notable not only because it is Lu Han's home town, but because he returned after bowing out of the Thailand concert last week. He had chronic exhaustion, bad migraines and couldn't sleep, and apparently the Beijing doctors chained him to a bed at the beginning of September and ordered complete rest. He was looking pretty beat back then, too. Anyway, he came back with new black hair (thank good, wasn't feeling the blonde caramel look) and a swollen eye from an eye infection. After this, no more concerts until November and December... and they are all going to be in Japan. Things that make you go Hmmm. They are also supposedly recording a new album.
