The writing for Brooke/Taylor is all over the place. As pointed out, "friends", then feuding all over again in two episodes. I can envision Hunter Tylo's Taylor more in these scenes than Krista Allen...And that's nothing against KA, who is doing a fine job, but there's an element missing. I saw a message KA tweeted to her fans to not give up and to hang on...

I thought their friendship was cute *at first*. But I think you're right, Braylor is getting too "giddy" for me. First Taylor is trying to fix Brooke up with Hollis (I'd still go for that), now Deacon?? I think it's time to go back to B&B's roots and make Brooke & Taylor rivals again, the show is missing that element. This kind of reminds me of when they decided to make Brooke and Stephanie insta-pals. I mean it made for some nice scenes when Stephanie passed, but the whole thing never felt right. Back to Braylor, I get the whole "empowering women" thing, but some things you really don't change, like 3 decades of history. It wouldn't take much...If Taylor heard the way Brooke was talking to Hope about Thomas, she might have a few choice words for her "BFF".

Last year this time B&B was hitting ratings highs...What a difference a year makes.

B&B has gotten off to a slooow May Sweeps...Other than Sheila & Jack on Mon and Tues. I know Sheila is on borrowed time, like her or hate her, she keeps the show interesting (for me). She sure did channel Stephanie! ...Hope & Thomas have been holding my attention, not so much in the romantic sense, moreso what Hope does next. The show is playing heavily on Hope hearing Brooke's voice in her head saying she doesn't like bad boys, how she has always desired the wrong men and is glad her daughter isn't the same, etc...BBell could take this story where Hope develops DID or something...I mean having Brooke Logan as a mother growing up would be traumatizing, that has not been explored, the ramifications that had/has on Hope. Hope could be the next Slut From The Valley 😉
